摘要

许慎在《说文解字》中说：“形声者以事为名，去如相成、江河是也。”

这种造字法弥补了象形、指事、会意等造字法的局限、它是最能产的造字法。

中国文字在进古期以后，几乎完全是形声字。一直到今天，汉字还保持旺盛

的生命力，就是依靠象形文字的强大功能。在前辈考释的基础上，本人对近

四千字的甲骨文做了一个全面的考察，力求在形声字上做出探讨。

关于形声字的起源的探讨是本文的重要部分，在此之前我有几个代表性的观点、形声源于假说、居于部分表音的独体形声说等，而我们以为最早的形声是按照表意的方法去构造，于省吾先生认为形声字的起源，是从某些独体象形字已发展具有部分表音的象形字，然后才分化为形符和声的相配合的形声字。在于省吾先生的的启发下，我们发现一批字例，这类字构特殊，我们称之为“声符刑化字”这部分的探讨是本文的核心，可说明甲骨文形声字的起源。

本文的研究方法主要表现在对形声字的判断上。尊重形声字的一形一声的层次结构等。声符形化、形符声化、添加声符、添加形符、更换形符、声符，形符、声符相结合。每类都举例说明。本文也探讨了形声字于其他有声字的区别。

Abract

Xu Shen in "Shuowen Jiezi" said: "in the name of 'thing, such as phase,rivers are also." The method of making up the pictographs, self explanatory. I make a comprehensive survey of nearly four thousand words of the Oracle, tries to make a study on the pictophonetic characters. Discussion on the origin of the pictophonetic characters is an important part of this paper, I have several representative point of view, pictophoneticstemming from the hypothesis, the single form part of phonetic said, wethink that the earliest form is to construct according to the ideographicmethod, Mr Yu is considered the origin of the pictophonetic characters, from some single pictograph has developed with phonetic hieroglyphs, and thendifferentiate to form symbol matching harmony pictophonetic characters. Is to inspire the province i s, we found a number of words, this kind ofcharacter structure is special, we call it "the sound punishment" of this partis the core of this paper, which can explain the origin of Oracle.

The research method of this paper is mainly on

the pictophonetic judgment.Respect the pictophonetic a shape a hierarchical structure. The sound becomes the shape, form sound, adding sound symbol, adding form,replacing the form, sound, form, sound symbol combination. Each category is illustrated. This paper also discusses the pictophonetic characters to distinguish other sound word.

前言

汉字的发展是一个形声化的过程。研究形声字，尤其是对甲骨文形声字的研究，不仅有利于对形声字本身的认识，对认清整个汉字系统的发展也有重要意义。

第一章形声字的定义起源

一．定义

事兼指事之事，象形之物，盲物亦事也。名即古曰名今曰字之名、比如，谕。谕者，告也。比如声如“工”、“可”，因取“工”、“可”成其名其别于指事象形者、指事象形独体、形声合体。其别会意者，会意合体主义，形声合体主省。声或在左或在右，或在下，或在上，或在中，或在外，亦有一字二声者，有亦声者，会意而兼形者。

二．形声起源

1．形声起源假借说

人们最先需要为他们配备正式的文字词，其意义大概都是难于用一般的象形方法来表示的，如数词，虚词，表示事物属性的词，以及一些抽象意义的词。在文字的形成过程中，表意的造词法和假借方法应该是同时发展起来的，而不是有些人想象的那样，只是在表意字大量产生之后，假借方法才开始应用。
