1Emerging from the cartoon is an eye-catching scene that the parents are willing to have a second child, while their only child do not agree because of his worry that he doesn't want to have another child, even his own sibling, share toys with him. Simple as it is, the symbolic meaning revealed is profound and thought-provoking.We are supposed to place our attention on, instead of its funny appearance, the implied meaning of the cartoon: as the overall second-child policy expands throughout China, some only children are so selfish that they cannot accept the second child in their family. What can account for this undesirable situation? For one thing, they, as the only child at home all the time, have no awareness of sharing what they like with others due to the fact that all the family members give their love to the only child. As a result, when faced with the problem of whether they are willing to have a sibling, their first response is to refuse it. For another reason, some couples are eager to have a second child as soon as possible, which makes them neglect to communicate with their only child to let them realize the advantage of having a sibling companion in their childhood. From what has been discussed above, it's safe for me to conclude that it is urgent to take some immediate and effective measures. What I recommend is that parents should let child know the importance of sharing with others, which is beneficialfor them in future life. In addition, it's better for parents to have more communication with their only child once they want to have a second child. 2Now, our country the number of straight line rise, because the two populations, a series of problem, here, I'll give you something about with that! The current family planning policy is unfair, urban residents having only one child, rural residents the first child is female of, can have two children. To have two children, however, leads to the housing problem, population increase, also takes more house, now scientists show that China's housing life for 30 years, while western countries housing service life is 2 times of our country, therefore, our country's house of fast, down too fast, the house is always not enough, so a few people who are facing problems don't have a house to live.Today, our country's arable land has also been a lot of problems, such as: 1, due to the large area reclamation woodland lawn, cultivated land is widening. 2, due to the large-scale afforestation, reduce cultivated land quickly. 3, due to water loss and soil erosion, land desertification, human development blindly, arable land decrease quickly. 4, due to the impact of foreign agricultural products, a large number of cultivated land desolate. Because of population increase, to a large number of land reclamation, to a large number of occupation of land, only in this way can we have a new technology, will have a house to live in. So, our country's land area is greatly reduced. But, our country a lot of land is occupied, can continuously reduce the cultivated land area, arable land decrease, many kinds of food less, even some people starve to death. Two population increase, the employment problem also more and more competition, such as: 1, the our country population base is big, need more employment, employment peak last a long time. 2, needs to improve employment mechanism, talent market, labor market development has yet to be perfected, labor elements configuration has not yet reached full optimization. 3, employment concept updating, lack of initiative 'entrepreneurial enthusiasm, "such as" "by" the ideas of the "to" still exist, not from their own and realistic environment, employment expectations are too high. So, young people in employment in our country may not work, can't bring home the bacon. In order to themselves and others in the future, please have fewer, eugenics. Boy or girl, is the backbone of the motherland in the future.

The policy of allowing a second child, commonly known as the twochild policy, has been a topic of much debate in China since its introduction in2015.This policy was implemented to address the aging population and the gender imbalance caused by the previous onechild policy. However, like any policy,it has its advantages and disadvantages that are worth exploring.Advantages of the TwoChild Policy:1.Demographic Balance:The twochild policy is aimed at balancing the population by increasing the birth rate. This is particularly important in a country like China, where the aging population poses significant challenges to the economy and social welfare systems.2.Economic Growth:With more children being born, there is an expectation of increased consumer spending, which can stimulate economic growth. The younger generation will also contribute to the workforce, potentially offsetting the economic strain caused by an aging population.3.Family Dynamics:Allowing families to have more than one child can lead to a richer family life.Siblings can provide companionship and support to each other, which can be particularly beneficial in a society where the elderly may not have as much support as they need.4.Gender Balance:The policy is also intended to reduce the gender imbalance caused by the preference for male children in some parts of China.By allowing families to have more children, the pressure to have a boy may be reduced, leading to a more balanced gender ratio.Disadvantages of the TwoChild Policy:1.Resource Strain:With a higher birth rate, there is an increased demand for resources such as housing, education, and healthcare. This can lead to a strain on public services and infrastructure, which may not be able to keep pace with the growing population.2.Environmental Impact:A larger population can put pressure on the environment, leading to issues such as pollution, deforestation, and resource depletion. This is a concern not only for China but for the global community as well.3.Economic Disparity:While the policy may stimulate economic growth,it may not be evenly distributed.Families with more children may face financial challenges, and the policy may exacerbate economic disparities between families.4.Social Challenges:The policy may not address the root causes of the low birth rate, such as the high cost of living, the pressure on women to balance work and family life, and the lack of support for families with children. These challenges may continue to deter couples from having more children, despite the policy changes. In conclusion, while the twochild policy has the potential to address some of the demographic and economic challenges faced by China,it also presents new challenges that need to be carefully considered and managed. It is essential for policymakers to balance the benefits with the potential drawbacks and to implement supporting measures that can help families and society at large adapt to these changes.。

The policy of allowing a second child, commonly referred to as the twochild policy, has been a significant shift in Chinas family planning approach. This policy was introduced in response to a variety of demographic and social challenges that China has been facing, such as an aging population,a shrinking workforce, and the potential economic implications of these changes. Here are some perspectives on the twochild policy that one might consider when discussing this topic in an English essay:1.Demographic Balance:The twochild policy is seen as a measure to balance the population. With a rapidly aging population, there is a concern that there will not be enough young people to support the elderly.Allowing families to have a second child can help to increase the birth rate and create a more balanced age structure in the long term.2.Economic Impact:The policy is expected to have a positive economic impact.A larger workingage population can contribute to economic growth by increasing the labor force and consumer demand. However,it also raises questions about the sustainability of social security systems and the potential strain on public services such as education and healthcare.3.Gender Equality:The onechild policy had led to a skewed sex ratio, with a preference for male children in some parts of China. The twochild policy may help to alleviate this issue by reducing the pressure on families to have a male heir, thus promoting a more balanced gender distribution.4.Cultural Shift:The policy represents a cultural shift in China, where the traditional emphasis on large families is being reevaluated. It reflects a move towards a more individualistic approach to family planning, allowing couples to make decisions based on their personal circumstances rather than strict government guidelines.5.Urban vs.Rural Differences:The policys impact may vary significantly between urban and rural areas.Urban families might be more hesitant to have a second child due to the high cost of living and the focus on quality of life, while rural families might be more inclined to take advantage of the policy to ensure support in old age.cational Opportunities:With more children in the population, there is an increased demand for educational resources. This could lead to improvements in the quality and availability of education, but also poses challenges in terms of funding and infrastructure.7.Environmental Concerns:An increase in population can put additional pressure on the environment, leading to concerns about resource consumption, pollution, and the sustainability of current living standards.8.Healthcare System:The healthcare system may face challenges in providing adequate prenatal and postnatal care,as well as pediatric services,to accommodate the increase in births. In conclusion, the twochild policy is a complex issue with farreaching implications for Chinese society. It is a policy that seeks to address immediate demographic concerns while also considering longterm economic and social stability. As with any policy,it is subject to ongoing debate and analysis, and its ultimate success will depend on a range of factors, including how well it is implemented and the broader societal context in which it operates.。

1It is known to all that loosening on the family planning policy decision has been made on the next-phase reform approved by the Third Plenum of the CPC’s 18th central committee which ended on 12,Nov.However, before the policy was claimed, Chinese leaders thought population emerges as an issue, which should be controlled and approved a law on contraception and abortion .The population growing fast let the government included population control into the national economic development plan and requires government at all levels to increase family-planning work. With time going by, we discover that one-child policy also has its disadvantage. A growing number of scholars has urged the government to reform the one-child policy ,introduced in the late 1970s to prevent population spiraling out of control, but now regarded by many experts as outdated and harmful to the economy. In recent years ,Chin a ‘s fertility rate maintained at the level of 1.4%----1.5%,much lower than other developing countries .China’s low fertility level will not only lead to a shortage of the aging of the population and the labor force ,but also will reduce the potential growth rate of the economy. In addition , one-child policy makes many families have only one child ,which makes the child feel lonely during his childhood .After the policy fully implemented, it will affect 15000000 to 20000000 people in the national scope, among these couples about 50% to 60% would like to have a second children. Theestimated number of new policy for infants range from 8000000 to 10000000. So we should pay more attention to who can have a second child and be rational when we choose whether to have a second child. In a word ,only in this way can the population not be a rapid growth in our country. 2China is a great country with the largest population in the world. In order to solve the population problem, our government decides to implemented one-child policy. When it is carried out for some time, many people not only see its advantages but also disadvantages. Thus, people argue that two-child policy should be put into effect. In my opinion, two-child policy should be carried out.First of all, two-child policy is the gift for some only child. For some families, maybe the parents are only child and they also can have only child. Put aside the loneliness of their child, when their child grows up and they grow older, their child marry with an only child girlaccidentally, the burden on their child and his wife is unimaginable heavy. Their child and his wife have to take care of two old couples. Usually, a young couple looking after an old couple is a little difficult; if the pressure increasing twice, how can they stand it. But if their parents have two children, they can share the burden of taking care of their parents. It would be much better.Secondly, two-child policy can guarantee the number of Chinese population. As the widely spread of one-child policy, some people have changed their conception about giving birth. If they firmly believe one-child policy, there will be more and more the dink. After several decades, our country will famous forlack of population. In conclusion, one-child policy has out of date. And tow-child policy is needed and necessary. It can solve the problem of nowadays and the future. 3Although the younger brother is five years old, but the experience let me always unforgettable. In when I was nine years old, my mother was pregnant with her little brother, mother often said to me: "after mother gave birth to little brother, you can't be so capricious, because you want to make a model to the younger brother, you are the big sister."Still have half month, mother will have the younger brother, I feel the joy, because I have a younger brother soon, no longer lonely a person. The two-child policy, which was officially implemented in China in 2016, has brought about significant changes in the country's population and family planning. As a Chinese citizen, I have witnessed the impact of this policy on my own family and those around me.First and foremost, the two-child policy has provided families with more flexibility and freedom in deciding the size of their families. Previously, the one-child policy had placed strict limitations on the number of children a family could have, leading to a significant gender imbalance and an aging population. The two-child policy, a contentious issue that has sparked heated debates and controversy, hinges on a multitude of factors. Its proponents trumpet the potential benefits it holds for the nation's economy and environment. They contend that a smaller population would translate into a more manageable burden on resources, reducing pollution and easing economic pressure. Moreover, they argue that it would afford parents the opportunity to allocate more time and attention to each child, fostering their well-being and educational attainment. However, opponents of the two-child policy raise valid concerns regarding the potential infringement on reproductive rights and individual freedoms. They assert that it undermines the autonomy of women and couples, limiting their ability to make informed decisions about the size of their families. Additionally, they expressapprehensions about the social implications, citing studies that suggest the policy could lead to gender imbalances and a decline in the labor force. The ethical dilemmas it poses, such as the potential for forced abortions and coerced sterilization, also raise alarm among critics.Delving deeper, the complexities of the two-child policy cannot be overstated. It touches upon fundamental issues of human rights, economic development, and social welfare, demanding a nuanced and balanced approach. It is imperative to weigh the potential benefits against the potential costs and consider the long-term ramifications before making a definitive judgment.

The Pros and Cons of China's Two-Child Policy。

Introduction:China's two-child policy was implemented in 2016, allowing couples to have two children instead of one. This policy was a response to the country's aging population and low birth rates. While the policy aimed to address these issues, it has both advantages and disadvantages. This essay will discuss the pros and cons of China's two-child policy.Pros of the Two-Child Policy:1. Addressing the aging population:One of the main advantages of the two-child policy is that it helps address the issue of an aging population. China's population is rapidly aging, with a decreasingnumber of young people to support the elderly. Allowing couples to have two children helps increase the working-age population, which can contribute to economic growth and lessen the burden on the social security system.2. Potential economic benefits:By encouraging couples to have two children, the two-child policy can potentially stimulate economic growth. With a larger population, there will be an increase in consumer demand, leading to more job opportunities and economic development. Additionally, more children mean a larger future workforce, which can contribute to productivity and innovation.3. Reducing gender imbalance:China has been facing a severe gender imbalance due to its previous one-child policy and cultural preference for male children. The two-child policy can help address this issue by allowing families to have a second child in the hope of having a son. This can potentially reduce genderdiscrimination and promote gender equality in the long run.4. Improved mental health:Having a sibling can provide emotional support and companionship, which can contribute to improved mental health. With the two-child policy, more children will have the opportunity to grow up with a sibling, fostering stronger family bonds and social connections.Cons of the Two-Child Policy:1. Overpopulation concerns:One of the main concerns of the two-child policy is the potential for overpopulation. China is already the most populous country in the world, and allowing couples to have two children might lead to a significant increase in population. This can put a strain on resources, infrastructure, and the environment, leading to various social and economic challenges.2. Financial burden on families:Raising children can be expensive, and the two-child policy may put a financial burden on families. From education expenses to healthcare costs, having two children can significantly impact a family's financial stability. This burden may discourage some couples from having a second child, especially those with limited financial resources.3. Gender inequality:While the two-child policy aims to reduce gender imbalance, it may inadvertently reinforce gender inequality. Some families may still have a preference for male children, leading to sex-selective practices such as gender-based abortions or abandonment of female infants. This can perpetuate gender discrimination and have negative social consequences.4. Limited impact on birth rates:Despite the implementation of the two-child policy, China's birth rates have not increased significantly. Many factors, such as high living costs, career aspirations, and changing societal values, contribute to the declining birth rates. The policy alone may not be enough to reverse this trend, and more comprehensive measures may be needed to encourage couples to have more children. Conclusion:China's two-child policy has both advantages and disadvantages. While it addresses the issue of an aging population and potential economic benefits, it also raises concerns about overpopulation, financial burden, gender inequality, and limited impact on birth rates. It is essential for policymakers to carefully evaluate these pros and cons and consider additional measures to ensure a balanced approach to population control and sustainable development.。

The introduction of the two-child policy in China has sparked a wide array of opinions and debates. This policy, which allows each couple to have two children, has been a significant shift from the previous one-child policy that was in place for several decades. Here are some key perspectives on this new policy:1. Economic Impact: Economically, the two-child policy is seen as a measure to address the aging population and the potential labor shortage. It is believed that an increase in the younger population will bolster the economy by providing a larger workforce and reducing the burden of social security on the state.2. Social Implications: Socially, the policy has been welcomed by many families who desired to have more than one child but were previously restricted. It offers the opportunity for children to grow up with siblings, which some argue is beneficial for their social development.3. Gender Equality: The policy has also been praised for potentially reducing gender imbalance. The one-child policy had led to a skewed sex ratio due to a cultural preferencefor male children, and the two-child policy may help to alleviate this issue.4. Environmental Concerns: However, there are concerns aboutthe environmental impact of a population increase. Critics argue that more people could put additional strain on resources and exacerbate issues such as pollution and climate change.5. Urbanization and Housing: With more children, the demand for housing and urban infrastructure is expected to rise. This could lead to increased urbanization and the need for sustainable urban planning to accommodate the growing population.6. Education and Healthcare: The policy will also place greater demands on education and healthcare systems. There will be a need for more schools, teachers, hospitals, and healthcare professionals to cater to the increasing number of children.7. Personal Choice: Some argue that the policy should be about personal choice rather than state mandate. They believe that families should be able to decide how many children they want to have without government interference.8. Rural vs. Urban Differences: There is also a divide in how the policy is received in rural areas versus urban centers. Rural families, who traditionally have relied on children for agricultural work and old-age support, may be more inclined to have a second child.9. Ethical Considerations: Ethically, the policy raises questions about the state's role in family planning and the balance between individual rights and societal needs.10. Transitional Challenges: Finally, there are transitional challenges as the policy is implemented. For instance, there may be a sudden surge in birth rates followed by a stabilization, which could create a bulge in the population that requires careful management. In conclusion, the two-child policy in China represents a complex social and economic experiment with far-reaching implications. It is a policy that aims to balance the needs of a growing economy with the challenges of an aging population, while also navigating the complexities of individual rights and societal responsibilities. As with any major policy shift, it will require careful monitoring and adaptation to ensure that it meets its intended goals while minimizing unintended consequences.。

The TwoChild Policy also known as the universal twochild policy is a significant demographic policy adjustment announced by the Chinese government on October 29 2015. This policy allows all couples to have two children in response to Chinas increasingly serious issues of population aging and labor shortages.

Since the implementation of the family planning policy in 1979 China has been enforcing the onechild policy which allows each couple to have only one child. However as time went on this policy gradually revealed some problems such as population aging labor shortage and gender imbalance. To address these issues the Chinese government relaxed the family planning policy in 2013 allowing couples with one child to have two children. However the effect of this policy was not obvious so the government further relaxed the policy in 2015 implementing the universal twochild policy.

As a native Chinese speaker, I have mixed feelingsabout the two-child policy. On one hand, I understand the government's intention to address the aging population and boost the economy. On the other hand, I worry about the potential negative consequences, such as increased pressure on resources and the widening gap between the rich and poor. From an economic perspective, the two-child policy can be beneficial. With a larger labor force, there will bemore people contributing to the economy and paying taxes to support the elderly. However, this policy also puts astrain on resources such as healthcare, education, and housing. In some areas, there simply may not be enough resources to support a larger population.Another concern is the potential for the two-childpolicy to widen the gap between the rich and poor.Wealthier families may have the means to provide better education and healthcare for their children, while poorer families may struggle to provide even basic necessities. This could lead to a greater divide in society and further exacerbate existing inequalities.Despite these concerns, I do believe that the two-child policy can be successful if implemented carefully and with consideration for the potential consequences. For example, the government could provide incentives for families to have children, such as tax breaks or subsidies for education and healthcare. Additionally, efforts could be made to improve access to resources for all families, regardless of their socioeconomic status.Overall, I think that the two-child policy has the potential to address some of China's demographic and economic challenges, but it must be implemented carefully to avoid negative consequences.

China's one-child policy, which has been in place for more than 30 years, has been a controversial topic both domestically and internationally. In 2015, the Chinese government announced a new policy that allows all couples to have two children. The two-child policy is a significant change that will have a profound impact on Chinese society. The one-child policy was implemented in 1979 to control the population growth rate, which was considered a threat to China's economic development. The policy was successful in reducing the birth rate, but it also had unintended consequences. The policy led to a gender imbalance, with many families preferring male children and resorting tosex-selective abortions. It also resulted in an aging population and a shrinking workforce. The two-child policy aims to address these issues byallowing families to have more children. The policy is expected to increase the birth rate and help balance the gender ratio. It will also provide a larger workforce to support China's economic growth and address the challenges of an aging population. However, the implementation of the two-child policy is not without challenges. One of the biggest challenges is the cost of raising children. Many families in China struggle to afford the cost of raising one child, let alone two. The government has introduced measures to support families with two children, such as tax breaks and subsidies for education and healthcare. However, these measures may not be enough to alleviate the financial burden on families.Another challenge is the cultural shift that is needed to support the two-child policy. For many years, Chinese culture has placed a high value on having only one child. The government will need to promote the benefits of having two children and change the cultural mindset that has been ingrained in Chinese society for decades. In conclusion, the two-child policy is a significant change that will have a profound impact on Chinese society. While there are challenges to its implementation, thepolicy is a step in the right direction towards addressing the issues that the one-child policy has created. It will be interesting to see how the policy will shape China's future in the coming years.。

Is it Necessary for Two-child Policy?
China is a great country with the largest population in the world. In order to solve the population problem, our government decides to implemented one-child policy. When it is carried out for some time, many people not only see its advantages but also disadvantages. Thus, people argue that two-child policy should be put into effect. In my opinion, two-child policy should be carried out.

First of all, two-child policy is the gift for some only child. For some families, maybe the parents are only child and they also can have only child. Put aside the loneliness of their child, when their child grows up and they grow older, their child marry with an only child girl accidentally, the burden on their child and his wife is unimaginable heavy. Their child and his wife have to take care of two old couples. Usually, a young couple looking after an old couple is a little difficult; if the pressure increasing twice, how can they stand it. But if their parents have two children, they can share the burden of taking care of their parents. It would be much better.

Secondly, two-child policy can guarantee the number of Chinese population. As the widely spread of one-child policy, some people have changed their conception about giving birth. If they firmly believe one-child policy, there will be more and more the dink. After several decades, our country will famous for lack of population.

In conclusion, one-child policy has out of date. And tow-child policy is needed and necessary. It can solve the problem of nowadays and the future.
