I am writing to express my concern about the current state of our school's culture. As a student, I have noticed a decline in the values and traditions that once made our school a great place to learn and grow.Firstly, I have noticed a lack of respect among students and teachers. There seems to be a general disregard for authority and rules, which has led to disruptive behavior in classrooms and a lack of discipline. This is not only detrimental to the learning environment but also sets a poor example for younger students.Secondly, there is a growing trend of bullying and exclusion among students. This behavior not only causes emotional harm to those targeted but also creates a toxic atmosphere that is not conducive to learning. It is important that our school takes a strong stance againstbullying and promotes inclusivity and kindness.Lastly, I have noticed a decline in school spirit and participation in extracurricular activities. This is concerning as these activities are essential in fostering a sense of community and belonging among students. It is important that our school encourages and supports participation in these activities.I believe that addressing these issues is crucial in restoring our school's culture and creating a positive learning environment. I urge the school administration to take action to address these concerns and work towards creating a more respectful, inclusive, and spirited school community.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,。

As a student, I have experienced and observed various aspects of campus culture. Campus culture refers to the unique atmosphere, traditions, and values that are present in a particular educational institution. It encompasses a wide range of activities, events, and behaviors that define the social and academic environment of a campus. One of the most prominent aspects of campus culture is the sense of community and belonging. Students often form tight-knit communities within their respective departments, clubs, and organizations. For example, in my university, there is a strong sense of camaraderie among the members of the debate club. We often organize study sessions, social events, and even travel together for competitions. This sense of belonging fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where students can thrive and develop lasting friendships.Another important aspect of campus culture is the celebration of diversity and inclusion. Universities are melting pots of different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. This diversity is celebrated through various cultural events, international festivals, and awareness campaigns. For instance, during the annual International Week, students from different countries showcase their traditions, cuisines, and performances. This not only promotes cultural exchange but also encourages mutual understanding and respect among students from diverse backgrounds.Furthermore, campus culture is often characterized by a strong emphasis on academic excellence and intellectual curiosity. Students are encouraged to pursue knowledge beyond the classroom through research projects, seminars, and academic competitions. The university I attend hosts an annual research symposium where students present their findings to faculty and peers. This not only promotes intellectual growth but also instills a sense of pride and accomplishment in the academic achievements of the student body.In addition to these aspects, campus culture also encompasses various social and recreational activities. From sports events and music concerts to movie nights and game tournaments, there are numerous opportunities for students to unwind and have fun. These activitiescontribute to the overall well-being and happiness of the student community, creating a vibrant and dynamic campus culture.Overall, campus culture plays a significant role in shaping the overall student experience. It provides a sense of identity, community, and purpose, and contributes to the holistic development of students.

关于英语的国旗下讲话稿国旗下的讲话演讲稿范文尊敬的老师,亲爱的同学们:当我们独处时,可能会这样问自己whatamilike(我是怎样的一个人)当我们交友择友时,也会问到whatihelikewhatihelike(她/他是怎样的一个人)可见人们是多么看重对人品的权衡。

The Rhythm of School Life: Celebrating Intangible Cultural HeritageSchool isn't just about books, tests, and lessons. It's a vibrant world where we learn so much more than what's taught in classrooms. Our school is brimming with living traditions that have been passed down for generations – special songs, games, stories, and customs that make our campus feel like home. These are our intangible cultural heritage!Every morning, we gather in the schoolyard to sing the school anthem together. Its familiar melody fills the air, uniting us as one big family. I always feel a sense of pride swelling in my chest as the words ring out. This anthem was written decades ago by a former teacher, and singing it connects us to all the students who came before us.At lunchtime, the yard transforms into a playground of handclapped games and skipping rope rhymes. "Miss Mary Mack, Mack, Mack, all dressed in black..." we chant, our small hands moving in intricate patterns. These silly verses have been recited by kids for centuries, yet they never lose their magic. Jumpingrope to the rhythmic "Cinderella, dressed in yella..." is an art form mastered through years of practice.During gym class, we play traditional games passed down through generations of students. "Red Light, Green Light" tests our speed and concentration as we try to sneak past the watchful "traffic light." And who could forget the shrieks of laughter that erupt during an epic game of "Steal the Bacon"? These cherished pastimes strengthen the bonds of friendship between us.At school festivals, we don colourful costumes and perform ancient folk dances dating back hundreds of years. The intricate steps and mesmerizing music transport us to bygone eras. I'll never forget the time I played a court lady in our reenactment of a traditional tea ceremony – I felt like royalty! Some of the most meaningful traditions, though, are the simpler ones. Like the way we greet our teachers each morning with a respectful bow. Or how we clean our classroom in teams, taking turns with the daily chores according to long-held customs of responsibility and teamwork. Our school's heritage isn't just preserved in dusty books or museums – it lives and breathes through us. We are the carriers of these customs, the reason they have been lovingly handed down through time. As I move up each grade, I discover newlayers of our living legacy, and I can't wait to one day pass them on to future generations. The songs, games, dances, and ways of our school don't just entertain us – they are precious threads woven through the tapestry of our lives. They teach us respect for the past and the importance of honouring traditions. They bind us together as a community, sharing the same roots. And they remind us that even though we are young, we play a vital role in this great legacy. So let's continue singing our school anthem with gusto, jumping rope with glee, and dancing with wild abandon! Our intangible cultural heritage embodies the rhythm and soul of our campus life. As long as we keep these traditions alive, our school's spirit will never fade.。

Intangible Cultural Heritage on Our School CampusHi there! My name is Amy and I'm a 5th grader at Maple Lane Elementary School. Today I want to tell you all about the really cool intangible cultural heritage we have right here on our campus. What's intangible cultural heritage you ask? Well, it's all the awesome traditions, stories, knowledge, and skills that have been passed down from our ancestors and elders. It's the fun and interesting stuff that makes our community and school unique! One of my favorite examples is the legend of Maple Lane itself. Did you know that our school is built on what used to be an old maple tree farm? Way back in the 1800s, there was this family that owned a huge maple syrup business. Their trees covered acres and acres of land in our town. The owners had a dozen kids who all learned the tricks of maple sugaring from their parents. When it came time for the farm to be sold off piece by piece, the owners decided to donate a section of the land to build a new school. And that's how Maple Lane Elementary was born! Pretty cool origin story, right? We actually still practice some old-fashioned maple sugaring traditions here too. Each year, the 4th graders learn how to identify and tap maple trees from Ms. Jenkins, whosegreat-great-grandparents owned that original farm. Then we all go out and collect the sap ourselves. We even have a big maple sugaring party where we take turns boiling down the sap over an open fire, just like they used to do it hundreds of years ago. At the end, we get to taste the fresh maple syrup we made ourselves. Yum!Our school also has living traditions when it comes to music and dance. Did you know our music teacher, Mr. Ramírez, is an expert on folk dances from Mexico? His ancestors were from a small village there, and they brought songs and dances with them when they immigrated to America. At least once a month, Mr. Ramírez teaches us a traditional Mexican folk dance during music class. We all hold hands in a circle or line and basically skip, hop, and twirl to the beat of the music. My favorite is called Las Avellanas - it's a super energetic dance where you click together these little nut hand-clappers. So fun!Another way we experience intangible heritage is through our grandparents' StoryCorp. Twice a year, the school invites all of our grandparents and elders from the community to come inand share stories about their lives and traditions. We listen to them talk about their childhoods, holidays they celebrated, jobs they had way back when, and more. We ask questions to learn even more. And the best part is, it all gets recorded so we can keep those stories safe for future generations. My favorite grandparent speaker so far was Mrs. Tanaka, who is 102 years old! She told us all about growing up on a strawberry farm in California and making intricate origami cranes for good luck with her grandma. Our school's intangible heritage isn't just from long ago though. Sometimes it comes from cultures that are still being created right now! Take Isaac's mom for example. Ms. Garcia is a pro gamer who plays in international esports competitions. She's been teaching Isaac and some of his friends the skills and strategies behind competitive video gaming. They even formed the first ever Esports Club here at Maple Lane. Every week, they get together for team practices, analyzing gameplay footage, and prepping for online tournaments. I don't totally understand it all yet, but I can see that esports has its own language, values, and traditions being created in real-time. Who knows, maybe one day video gaming could be considered an intangible cultural heritage too! Those are just a few examples of the living traditions we have right here on our cute elementary campus. Between the stories, skills, music, dances, and activities getting passed down to us kids, I'd say our school is overflowing with intangible cultural heritage. And you know what? I feel really lucky to be learning about it and experiencing it with my own eyes, ears, hands, and feet. This Old ways meet new ways, making for a student experience you can't find anywhere else. I'm proud to be part of it all at Maple Lane Elementary!。

This is one of my favorite events of the year because I love art, music, dance, and all the amazing performances we get to see.As you know, the arts are so important for kids like us. They help us express our feelings, be creative, and learn in fun new ways. I know a lot of my classmates really look forward to art class each week. It's a special time where we can take a break from all the reading, writing, and math to do something totally different with our hands and our imaginations. This year's cultural arts festival has so many great acts lined up. We'll get to see dances from all around the world, like traditional Indian dances, Korean fan dances, Mexican folk dances, and more. I can't wait to see all the bright colors and intricate movements. Dance is such an expressive art form. We'll also have musical performances galore! The school band and choir will be playing and singing, of course. But we'llalso have solo singers, small ensemble groups, and even some students showing off their skills on unique instruments like the erhu, steel drums, and didgeridoo. Music is the language of the soul, transcending countries and cultures. And that's not all - there will be art exhibits showcasing paintings, drawings, sculptures, and multimedia pieces created by students at every grade level. I'm always blown away by the talent and creativity of my peers. Art allows us to capture the world through our own unique lenses.Speaking of art, one of the highlights will surely be the fashion show, where students have designed and created their own outfits inspired by different cultures around the globe. I can't wait to see the vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and innovative styles strutting down the runway. Fashion is truly wearable art. We'll have poetry readings, short plays, and even a magic show this year too! The cultural arts festival allows us to explore so many diverse forms of expression and performance. Most importantly though, the cultural arts festival celebrates all the different backgrounds, traditions, and perspectives that make our school community special. We are a true melting pot here, with families from every corner of the globe. Events like thisallow us to share and appreciate the richness of our diverse cultures through art.As we watch the performances, admire the artworks, and savor the international foods, I hope we can all be filled with wonder at the talents of our peers and the beauty of cultural expression. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to experience it all here together.Art has the power to transcend language barriers and cultural divides. It brings people together through our shared humanity and the universal desire to create. Maybe the arts can show us that even though our cultures are different in many ways, deep down we are more similar than we realize. We all have our own unique tales to tell through art.So get ready to be dazzled, inspired, and maybe even transported to another place and time during today's cultural arts festival extravaganza. Keep an open mind and heart as you take in all the incredible performances and exhibits. Who knows, you might just discover a new passion or hidden talent of your own!Let's give a big round of applause to all the creators, artists, performers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this wonderful celebration of culture and art possible. Now sit backand prepare to be entertained, because the show is about to begin!篇2Hello everyone! My name is Emma and I'm a 5th grader here at Oakwood Elementary. I'm so excited to be here today to talk about our amazing school's Art and Culture Festival!Art and culture are two of my favorite things. I love exploring different forms of art like painting, drawing, sculpting, and more. And I'm fascinated by learning about cultures from around the world and the beautiful art, music, food, and traditions they have.At our Art and Culture Festival, we get to celebrate and experience so much incredible art and culture right here at our school. We have art displays, music and dance performances, cultural exhibits, and lots of fun activities and games. One of the coolest parts is the art gallery that features artwork made by students from every grade level. Walking through and seeing all the amazing paintings, drawings, collages, and sculptures is just mind-blowing. We have some seriously talented young artists here at Oakwood! My personal favorite is this huge mural that the 4th graders made with handprints forming a cool pattern. So creative! The performances are another highlight for me. We have students playing instruments, singing, dancing, and putting on short plays representing cultures from all over the globe. I loved watching the Japanese dance group perform with their colorful fans and intricate movements. And the African drummers playing those huge djembe drums had me bouncing in my seat! The performances allow us to experience little slices of cultures in such a fun, vibrant way. Then we have the cultural exhibits and activities where you can really immerse yourself and learn. You can try on traditional clothing like beautiful silk kimonos from Japan or bright, woven dresses from Mexico. You can sample foods like tangy Thai curries, sweet Belgian chocolate, or pillowy soft Italian bread. My favorite is the henna station where you can get your hand decorated with amazing, intricate designs using that super cool dye. I got an awesome paisley pattern on my hand that lasted for weeks! We even have booths where parent volunteers teach students about different cultural traditions, holidays, art forms, and more. Last year, I learned how to play the African bao game which was really challenging but fun. And I'll never forget when Mr. Patel's mom came and taught us about the colorful Holifestival celebrated in India. She had us throw these bright, vibrant powders at each other which was a crazy mess but totally awesome! What I love most about the Art and Culture Festival is how it opens everyone's eyes to the incredible diversity of art, traditions, foods, music, and more that exists in our world. It allows us to appreciate cultures that may be very different from our own in such an engaging, hands-on way. And it reminds us that while we may look different or have different customs on the outside, we all ultimately want the same things - to celebrate, have fun, and share the unique and beautiful parts of our cultures. The festival brings our whole school community together to not just learn, but truly experience the amazing artistic and cultural richness of our great big world. It fosters openness, curiosity, and respect for all people. And that's such an important thing, especially for us kids.Because the more we understand and appreciate each other's differences, the more we can just focus on our similarities - like our shared hopes and dreams. We can realize that even though our clothes, food, and celebrations may look different on the outside, on the inside we all want the same basic things like happiness, love, and peace. So I really hope you'll all come out to this year's Art and Culture Festival! Whether you're into the incredible student art, awesome performances, fascinating cultural exhibitions, or just chowing down on some egg rolls or funnel cake, there's something for everyone. But most importantly, come with an open mind and heart. Be ready to appreciate all the diverse artwork, traditions, music, and more that make our world so vibrant and special. Because when we celebrate what makes us unique while focusing on what unites us, that's when we get to experience the true beauty of art and culture.Thank you all for listening and I hope to see you at the festival!篇3Hi everyone! My name is Alex and I'm so excited to be here today for our big Cultural Arts Festival. This is one of my favorite events of the year because I just love art, music, dance, and all the amazing performances we get to see.First of all, I want to give a huge thank you to all of the teachers, parent volunteers, and staff who worked so hard to put this festival together. It takes a lot of time and effort to organizeeverything and make sure it all runs smoothly. They deserve a big round of applause! Now, on to the fun stuff - the performances! We'll get to see students from every grade level showcasing their talents. I can't wait to see what creative acts everyone has come up with this year. One of the things I love most about the Cultural Arts Festival is learning about different cultures through art, music, dance, food, and more. It's so cool to see the unique traditions and artistic expressions from cultures around the world. It really opens your eyes to how diverse and amazing our world is.I'm particularly excited for the world dance performances this year. There's nothing quite like watching an energetic folk dance with all the bright, swirling costumes and rhythmic music. It's mesmerizing! I've been practicing some Indian classical dance moves with my friend Priya and her mom, so I can't wait to see the professional dancers perform. The art gallery is always one of the highlights too. All the paintings, drawings, sculptures, and mixed media pieces our fellow students create are just mind-blowing. You can really see the creativity, hard work, and talent that went into each one. Mylittle brother made a clay sculpture of our dog this year that I'm really proud of him for. I bet you can't guess which one is his!And let's not forget about the food! One of the best parts of the Cultural Arts Festival is getting to sample delicious foods from all over the world. From zesty curries to sweet pastries, the options are endless. My parents already warned me not to overdo it on the snacks before the big performances though. Whoops! At the end of the day, that's what makes this festival so special. It's a chance for all of us to celebrate our diverse community and shared love of art. To experience the array of creative talents and cultural traditions through performances, artwork, cuisine, and more. It opens our minds and hearts to new perspectives. To all the students performing today, I just want to say - you should be so proud of yourselves! Putting yourself out there and sharing your artistic gifts takes a lot of courage. Try to soak in every moment because this is a day you'll never forget. Let's give all the performers a warm round of applause as they take the stage!Alright, alright, I'll wrap this up now so we can get on with the main event. Thank you all again for coming out to join in thisincredible celebration of arts and culture. Get ready for an amazing day filled with joy, creativity, diversity, and so much talent. Let's go make some magical memories!篇4Welcome to our Cultural Arts Festival! My name is Lily and I'm a 5th grader here at Sunshine Elementary. I'm so excited to be speaking to all of you today about the amazing arts and cultural celebrations we have planned!First, let me tell you about the awesome arts and crafts we'll be making. We're going to have a huge room filled with tables for painting, drawing, sculpting with clay, making collages, and all sorts of fun artsy projects. My favorite is the tie-dye station where we can make groovy designs on t-shirts and socks. I love watching the colors swirl together into trippy patterns! We'll also have a corner for origami, the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. Origami is supercool - you can make animals, flowers, boxes, and even ninjas out of just a single sheet of paper! My friend Aisha is a total origami master. Last year she made this incredible dragon that was this big! Just from precisely folding the paper. Mind-blowing skills! For all you theater kids out there, we've got an open mic stage set up where you can perform skits, songs, dances, comedy routines - anything goes! I'm planning to recite some weird modern poetry with my pal Marcus. We're still working on not cracking up onstage. Performing live is both terrifying and awesome.Multicultural dance is another highlight. We're having dancers come teach us traditions from all around the world - Mexican folklórico with those gorgeous dresses that swirl when they twirl, rhythmic dances from West Africa with drumming, elegant moves from India, even some hip hop styles too. I can't wait to learn all the new moves!Mmmm, now let's talk about the food! We'll have tables piled high with cuisine from so many cultures. Spicy curry and naan bread from India, crispy egg rolls and fried rice from China, flaky spanakopita from Greece, tamales from Mexico, falafel and hummus from the Middle East, and more! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all. I always go straight for the sugary desserts though - like those French crepes drizzled in chocolate sauce? To die for!Speaking of different countries, we've got activities to experience traditions and daily life from all over. You can try onbeautiful silk dresses and play ancient games in the Japan area. Learn some simple words in Mandarin Chinese calligraphy. See masks and hear folk tales from various Native American tribes. Get henna designs painted on your hands like they do in Pakistan and India. It's going to be a true world tour!Music and dance go hand-in-hand at the festival. Get ready to groove to the rhythms of steel drums from the Caribbean Islands. Hear the melodic sounds of the sitar from India. See dazzling Mexican folklórico dancers whirl in vibrant skirts. Learn some K-pop dance moves. And that's just the beginning!I'm especially hyped about the carnival games area. You can test your skills at classics like the milk bottle toss, ringing the bell with a hammer, and everybody's favorite - the dunk tank! I've been practicing my throwing arm to try and soak Mr. Kirkwood, our principal. He deserves it after all those pop quizzes! Just kidding...kind of.Arts and culture bring us together and help us celebrate our diversity. Looking at life through different lenses expands our minds. I can't wait to experience it all at our festival! It's been an incredible journey preparing for this event. I've learned so much already through art, dance, music, food, traditions, and stories from around the globe. My world has gotten so much bigger. This festival is a way to rejoice in our cultures, embrace our differences, and find the beauty in every heritage. So let's dive in headfirst and explore! Who's ready to travel the world with me? Let's go!篇5Hello everyone! My name is Jamie and I'm a 4th grader here at Oakwood Elementary. It's a classic! My big brother Sam is going to be showing his sculpture made out of recycled materials. It's a chance for every student to showcase their special skills andtalents, while appreciating the diverse cultures and backgrounds we all come from.Whether you're an artist, musician, dancer, writer, scientist, or anything else, there's something at the festival for you. And even if you're just coming to have fun, eat some yummy food, and support your friends and family, that's awesome too. My name is Emily and I'm a 4th grader here at Oakwood Elementary. I'm so excited to be here today to talk about our wonderful school arts and culture festival coming up next month.Art and culture are two of my very favorite things. I love drawing, painting, making crafts, dancing, singing, and learning about different cultures from around the world. This festival isthe best time of year because we get to celebrate all of those things! For the art part of the festival, every student gets to submit a piece of artwork they created. It could be a drawing, a painting, a sculpture, pretty much anything! All of the artwork gets displayed in the big gym for everyone to see. My friends and I always have so much fun walking around looking at everyone's masterpieces. It's amazing to see how creative and talented all of the kids at our school are!Last year for my art submission, I made a huge painting of a sunset over the ocean. I used lots of bright pinks, oranges, yellows, and blues to make the colors really pop. Working on that painting took forever, but it was worth it because I was so proud of how it turned out in the end. This year I'm thinking of making a clay sculpture, maybe of my dog Buddy. We'll see!The culture part of the festival is where we learn all about the traditions, food, music, dances, and more from cultures all over the world. Each grade level gets assigned a different country or region to represent. My class is doing India this year, which I'm super excited about! We're going to perform some traditional Indian dances in colorful costumes. We've been practicing them for weeks already. Some of the moves are kind of tricky, but it's been really fun learning all of the hand motions and footwork. I can't wait to show off our dance skills on the big stage! We're also going to have stations all around the gym teaching people about different aspects of Indian culture. My group is going to teach about some classic Indian folktales and mythology stories. There will be dresses, cooking demos, henna tattoos, and so much more happening too. It's going to be an explosion of cultures and so educational for everyone.Another part I'm really looking forward to is the international food court. Parents and community members from all kinds of backgrounds set up booths selling delicious foods from their cultures. My favorite is the Italian booth because they always have the most amazing homemade pastas, pizzas, and desserts like tiramisu and cannoli. But I also love trying new foods I've never had before. The food is definitely one of the highlights! On top of all that, there's going to be performances happening all day long on the main stage. We're talking dancing, singing, plays, music acts, everything! Kids and adults from the community signed up to share parts of their cultures through performances. I go every year and I'm always blown away by how talented everyone is.Honestly, this festival is just the best day ever. Getting to appreciate so many beautiful cultures, see amazing art from my friends and classmates, eat delicious global foods, watch entertaining performances, and celebrate diversity all in one place is so wonderful. It makes me feel proud of where I come from and excited to learn about other places too.I really hope you'll all come out next month to support our school and experience this incredible event for yourselves. There's something for absolutely everyone to enjoy. You won't want to miss the celebration of arts and cultures from all over the world, right here in our own community. Thank you, and get ready for an amazing festival!。

Today, I’d like to talk about the importance of enriching campus culture. Campus culture, as a crucial part of students’ college life, plays an indispensable role in shaping their personalities and providing them with more opportunities. Therefore, it is necessary and valuable for us to put more effort into creating and enriching campus culture. The Importance of Enriching Campus CultureFirstly, campus culture is beneficial to students’ personal growth. In college, we are no longer simply learning knowledge and taking exams, but also exploring our interests, making friends, and discovering ourselves. A rich campus culture can provide us with more diverse activities and events, such as clubs, societies, sports teams, and cultural festivals, which could meet our different interests and needs. Moreover, participating in these activities can help us improve our communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and self-confidence, which will benefit our future careers.Secondly, enriching campus culture is good for building a harmonious and inclusive campus community. During our college years, many of us may encounter difficulties, frustrations, or even discrimination, which could be a barrier to our growth and development. A healthy campus culture can provide us with a sense of belonging and support, as well as respect and appreciation for diversity. It can help us overcome those challenges and promote mutual understanding and cooperation among students and faculties from different backgrounds and cultures.Thirdly, a vibrant campus culture can also contribute to the reputation and competitiveness of a university. As we know, many highly-ranked universities worldwide have their unique and outstanding campus culture, which attracts not only high-quality students and faculties but also funding and resources. By enriching our campus culture, we can showcase our university’s strengths, identity, and innovation, which will boost our competitiveness and bring us more opportunities for development. How to Enrich Campus CultureSo, how can we enrich our campus culture? Here are some suggestions: •Encourage and support student-led initiatives and activities, such as starting clubs, organizing events, and volunteering services.•Foster a culture of inclusiveness and tolerance, by promoting diversity, equity, and respect for individual differences.•Partner with external organizations or institutions, to bring in more resources, experiences, and perspectives from the outside world.•Provide more opportunities for international exchange, by offering study abroad, language courses, or international festivals.•Integrate campus culture into the academic curriculum, by designing interdisciplinary or extracurricular courses that focus on cultural exchange, cultural diversity, or creative expression.ConclusionIn conclusion, enriching campus culture is not only a responsibility but also a privilege for all stakeholders in a university community. By creating a more diverse, inclusive, and vibrant campus culture, we can enhance our personal growth, community building, and institutional value. Let’s take actions and make our campus a better place for learning, living, and thriving. Thank you.。

enriching school culture and displaying ourselves
recently, our school has held this cultural festival in order to deepen and intensify the construction of a harmonious and humane school.
in my opinion, the school is the place for us to study, a big classroom for “implied education” and also a platform for students to perform humanism.
the modernization of our school means magnificent buildings, modern equipments and ample schoolyard, but even the integration into them a thought—a modern concept on operating school and a distinctive school culture.
we shall fully utilize the natural environment of the
school and promote “a movement of ecological culture”. by re-establishing the relation of people and the nature, we can gradually accomplish the personality shaping with a spirit of ecology. we can integrate the construction of school culture into the rich cultural essence so that every people in the school can hear birds sing, smell flowers giving forth fragrance and breathe the thick cultural flavor.
“entering a room with fragrance of orchid, we can also be sweet-smelling.” on the grassland, we paved the paths with colorful stones, which not only make walking convenient but also add human touch to the plain grasslands. on a sunny day with pleasant wind, sitting or lying on the grassland gives people much joy.
our school dotted the schoolyard with some mountain stones of various shapes, square or round and with different postures, lying or standing.
in this way we have made changes to the virescence of our school. our teachers gave each of these stones a name so that they can even “talk”. our school seems as a natural amusement park, integrating the geographical sceneries with human and ecological ones.。
