We've gotten to do so many fun learning activities like staging a mini mock trial, participating in ascience fair, and going on an amazing weeklong field trip to Washington D.C.! I got to see the White House, Smithsonian museums, national monuments, and so many other incredible sights.At the same time, saying goodbye to my elementary school, teachers, and even some friends who are going to different middle schools has been really hard. I've made so many awesome memories over these past six years. I remember my first day, barely being able to read or write at all. And now I'm reading chapter books, writing long essays, giving presentations in front of the class, and so much more! It's crazy to think about how much I've learned and grown.Elementary school has given me such a solid foundation for the rest of my education journey ahead. Sure, there were tons of challenges along the way and days when I just wanted to give up. But my teachers, parents, and friends supported me every step of the way and helped me realize that if I persevere and work hard, I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.I'll really miss the close community feel of elementary school, with the same familiar faces every day. I know middle school will be a whole new (probably scary at first!) environment with different teachers and classes every period. But I'm ready to takeon that new challenge and adventure.
