让步状语从句的倒装句归纳（二）

三、倒装后置于句首的是副词

基本句式结构为“副词+as / though+主语+动词”。其中的副词主要用于修饰谓语动词。如：Sincerely as Mary loves him, he ignores her. 虽然玛丽真心爱他，但他却不理她。

He was unable to make much progress, hard as he tried. 尽管他做了努力，却未能取得很大进展。

Fast as you read, you can’t finish the book in two days. 尽管你读得很快，你总不能在两天之内就读完这本书。

Bravely though they fought, they had no chance of winning. 虽然他们打得很勇敢，但是没有可能获胜。

Hard though they tried, they couldn't make her change her mind. 尽管他们做了很大努力，却没法让她改变主意。

Gently as her words were spoken, there was no mistaking that she was displeased. 尽管她说的话很温和，但谁都看得出她生气了。

注意，这类用法还有一个非常重要的习语much as（可以视为一个引导让步状语从句的复合连词）。如：

Much as I’d love to come, I’m afraid I won’t be able to. 虽然我很想来，但恐怕也来不了。

Much as I’d like to help, there isn’t a lot I can do. 虽然我很乐意帮忙，但没有多少我能出力的事。

有时也说mush though。如：

Much though [=as] I respect your point of view. I can’t agree. 我虽然非常尊重你的观点，

但我不能同意。

四、倒装后置于句首的是动词原形

基本句式结构为“动词原形+as / though+主语+助动词”。如：

Object as you may, I’ll go. 纵使你反对，我也要去。

Try as she might, Carolina couldn’t get the door open. 尽管卡罗莱娜怎么想办法，她都未能把门弄开。(广东卷)

Look as I would up and down, I could see no human being. 我尽管望上望下，还是看不到一个人。

这类句式中用于句首的“动词原形”通常是不及物的，但有时也可能是及物动词。如：

Lose money as I did, I got a lot of experience. 钱虽然丢了，我却得到了许多经验。Waste so much time as he did，he got a 1ot of experience. 虽然他花费了许多时间，却学到了不少经验。

Change your mind as you will, you will gain no additional support. 你即使改变主意，也不会再得到援助。

五、倒装后置于句首的是分词

基本句式结构为“分词+as / though+主语+助动词”。其中的分词可能是现在分词或过去分词，若是现在分词，则通常与主语后的助动词构成进行进态；若是过去分词，则通常与主语后的助动词构成被动语态。如：

Raining hard as it is, I’m going out for a walk. 虽然正在下着大雨，我还是要出去散步。Munching the apple as he was, he had got an eye for all John’s movements. 他尽管在

一个劲地嚼着苹果，但仍警惕着约翰的一举一动。

Punished as he was, he remained stubborn. 他虽然受到了惩罚，但仍然很固执。Surrounded as we were by the enemy, we managed to march forward. 虽然我们被敌人包围着，但我们还是设法前进了。
