名词,是实词的一种,是指代人、事、物、时间、地点、 情感、思想等实体或抽象概念的词。
根据意义的不同,名词可以分为专有名词(Proper Noun)和普通名词(Common Noun), 其中专有名词是专门指代某些特定的人、地方、机构的名词,如China,Beijing等。按照是否 可数,名词又可以分为可数名词和不可数名词,其中可数名词是可以用数目来计算的名词, 如apple,egg等,不可数名词是不能用数目计算的名词,如air,water等。
