The workers there take such good care of the pandas to make sure their species doesn't go extinct. I want to work with pandas when I grow up!Next, we went to Mount Emei, one of the four holy Buddhist mountains in China. My dad hired a guide to take us up the mountain. We started hiking, and I couldn't believe how many crazy cool monkeys there were! Gray monkeys were everywhere, just hanging out on the path and in the trees. Our guide told us not to get too close or make eye contact with them. He said the monkeys can get aggressive if they feel threatened. I was careful to keep my distance, but I still got some amazing pictures and videos. As we kept climbing higher up the mountain, the trees started looking stranger and stranger, all twisted and gnarled from growing on the steep slopes. Finally, we made it to one of the temples near the top. It was build over 1,600 years ago! The views from up there were just breathtaking. I could see forever in every direction. The thin air made me feel a little dizzy though. After coming down from Mount Emei, we drove to Jiuzhaigou Valley. This place looked like something from a fantasy world with its bright blue, green and yellow lakes. Thecolors were absolutely gorgeous and came from minerals in the water. We hiked along wooden paths and saw incredible waterfalls pouring over rusty red travertine formations. At one point, we crossed over the Multi-Colored Lake, and I stuck my hands in the water - it was freezing cold! Some parts of the valley are still recovering from an earthquake a few years ago, but it's still an amazing natural wonder. Our last stop was the Leshan Giant Buddha, an enormous statue carved into the side of a cliff. It's so big that it towers over the buildings and trees at its base. We took a boat ride to get a view facing the Buddha's feet and legs. I've never seen anything like it! The guide told us it weighs as much as a million people and is the largest stone Buddha in the world. I couldn't even imagine how the workers managed to build something that massive all by hand 1,300 years ago.Sichuan has so many unbelievable sights packed into one province. From the cuddly pandas to the towering Buddha statue, it felt like we were on an endless adventure of amazing discoveries. I'll never forget the experiences and beautiful scenery I saw there. Sichuan is hands down the coolest place I've ever visited!。

My Awesome Trip to Mount EmeiLast summer, my parents took me on the coolest trip ever! We went to one of the most famous mountains in China called Mount Emei. It's located in the southwestern province of Sichuan. Let me tell you all about this amazing place!Mount Emei is one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains in China. It's known for its incredible natural beauty with ancient temples, towering waterfalls, and views that will blow your mind. The whole mountain is covered in lush green forests with hiking trails running everywhere. Our journey began in the town at the foot of the mountain called Emeishan City. We stayed in a super nice hotel there for a couple nights. You could already see the mountain's peak towering over the town - it looked so tall that I couldn't even see the top!The next morning, we got up bright and early to start our trek up the mountain. There are trails that wind all the way to the summit, but it would take days to hike the whole way. Instead, we took shuttle buses and cable cars to get to the best spots. Our first stop was Baoguo Temple, which was built over 1,200 years ago! It's one of the oldest Buddhist temples in the entire country. We walked around the ancient buildings with their curved roofs and looked at all the beautiful carvings and statues. My favorite was this huge Buddha statue that must have been 20 feet tall! After the temple, we hiked down a trail to see the Xianfeng Waterfall. Let me tell you, it was incredible! The waterfall was gushing down over 200 feet with rainbows sparkling in the mist. We got soaked from the spray, but it felt so refreshing on that hot day.As we kept climbing up the mountain, the scenery just got better and better. Monkeys would sometimes run across the trails in front of us! We passed through groves of towering bamboo trees and walked alongside streams that looked like they came straight out of a fairy tale.About halfway up the mountain, we reached one of the most famous sites - the Leidongping Scenic Area. That's where we saw the Leidongping Monastery and these incredible rock carvings carved right into the mountain cliffs. Some of them were huge Buddha statues and others looked like scenes from Buddhist stories. My dad told me they were over 1,000 years old!By this point, my legs were getting pretty tired from all the hiking and climbing up stairs. Thankfully, the rest of the way we took cable cars and shuttle buses to reach the most famous areas near the summit. The Golden Summit is the highest point you can get to on Mount Emei at over 10,000 feet above sea level. Up there, the views stretched on forever across the clouds and mountain peaks. It felt like being on top of the world! There was even a huge golden Buddha statue that looked out over the valleys below.Another awesome place was the Huazang Buddhist Resort. That's where we stayed overnight in a mountain lodge. Early the next morning, we got up before the sun to watch the sunrise over the sea of clouds below us. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen! Before heading back down, we visited the Monastery of Benediction which has over 100 bronze statues lined up inside. Each one had a different expression on its face and pose with its hands. My brother and I had fun trying to imitate all the different mudras (hand symbols). After that, it was sadly time to leave the mountain and head back home. I had so much fun exploring the ancient temples, hiking the trails, and seeing all the natural beauty. Mount Emei was definitely the best place I've ever traveled to.If you ever get the chance to go there, you absolutely have to! Just make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for all the climbing. And don't forget your camera - you'll want to take a million pictures of all the incredible sights. Maybe I'll even become a Buddhist monk and live at one of the monasteries when I grow up. A kid can dream, right?。
