大学英语中英美迷信文化的引入一、引言世界的快速发展使跨文化交际显得越发重要，这就对英语教学及学习提出了更高的要求。
学习一种外语不但要掌握语音、语法和词汇，还要知道使用这种语言的人如何看待事物，如何用语言来反映思想和行为，即了解他们社会的文化。
实际上，语言的学习和语言所附带的文化紧密相关，这就注定了英语教学中的文化引入成为必然，而大学阶段的英语教学尤为如此。
以往众多学者更侧重于探讨文化学习对于外语学习的全面影响，本文在文化引入这个大的框架之下，着力研究一个较为新颖的方面，即结合英美迷信文化对大学英语教学实行一些有益的分析。
二、文化引入的必要性美国语言学家萨丕尔在《语言论》中指出“语言不能脱离文化而存有”，1所以学习语言肯定必须与文化学习紧密相连，作为教育者和学习者在语言引入的过程中都应该提升文化输入的意识，增加文化输入的比例。
老师在平时的教学过程中，理应指导学生树立在英语学习中学习文化，在文化学习中掌握语言，把文化教学和英语教学牢牢结合，力图将单纯的“英语学习”逐步转化成“英语文化学习”，以期协助学生解决英语学习中面临的文化障碍。
2在今天大学英语教学中，越来越多的人理解到必须把语言知识和文化知识结合起来才能顺利交际，但在实际的英语教学实践中仍有文化输入缺席的现象，脱离语言存有的文化语境片面地实行语言学习。
“欧亨利的短篇小说长期以来给人的印象是幽默、风趣、诙谐3”，而这里幽默诙谐的语言，如果读者不具备相对应的文化常识，恐怕是不容易理解其内涵的。
大学英语阶段，对学生英语学习的要求，较之前他们在中学阶段的学习，有了很大的变化。
中学的英语学习更注重孤立的单词、短语以及语法的枯燥学习，涉及文化引入的内容少之又少。
而一旦进入大学，培养实际使用语言的水平被提上教与学的日程安排，听说读写的素材和活动大大增加，“我国的外语教学应包括文化教学，大学英语教育阶段要把发展学生的英语交际水平作为教学的最终目标。
”4这种大环境下，英美文化的引入成了非常必要的教学环节，作为教师与学生都需要将文化学习切切实实贯彻到语言学习中。
