• In 1779, Wordsworth attended the Grammar School in Hawkshead.
• In 1787,he left Lake District and studied at St.John’s College,Cambridge,from which he graduated with B.A.in 1791.
• In 1802, Wordsworth married Marry Hutchinson.
• In 1813, Wordsworth moved to Rydal Mount,a few kilometers from Dove Cottage.
• In his later years,his position as a great poet was firmly established.

I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
• In 1793,he returned alone to England.
• In 1797,he met Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Robert Southey.(They are called “the lake poets”.)
• And in 1798,S.T.Coleridge and Wordsworth jointly published Lyrical Ballads.
• In November 1791,Wordsworth visited Revolutionary France .He fell in love with a French woman,Annette Vallon,who in 1792 gave birth to their child,Caroline.

• The second of five children born to John Wordsworth and Ann Cookson,William Wordsworth was born on 7 April 1770 in Cockermouth in Cumberland—part of the scenic region in northwest England,the Lake District.
