对于连接词, 我在讲的时候也感觉到学生没有理解。
我讲解的方法就是把课文里面的丛句拿出来分析其语序和联系词, 然后再讲相关语法点, 最后举例子让学生造句。
语序问题, 我还会在将来碰到一次强调一次, 相信会有效果。

英语的书面表达教学曾经是我在教学过程中十分棘手的一个问题,英语的书面表达和语文的小作文相似,它要求的篇幅十分短小,仅限于150个单词或150个字。
但“麻雀虽小,五脏俱全”,要在这么短小的一片文章里表达清楚一件事,或阐明一种观点的话,不仅要求学生有高度的概括能力,而且要求学生有熟练的驾驭英语的能力。
在教学过程中我一直在分析学生写作中存在的问题,摸索确实可行的方法,创造可能的条件,最大可能的提高学生的写作能力。
学生面临的写作困难主要有以下几个方面:1.心里因素的制约。
一部分学生根本不重视书面表达,因为初中时所养成的定势思维,初中时书面表达很简单,根本不需要去刻意的练习。
还有一部分学生认为英语书面表达难写。
他们认为英语写作提高耗时长、见效慢;另外,学生在写作过程中词汇缺乏,所掌握的基本技能很有限。
2.写作内容单调。
对大多数学生而言,几乎在作文中都体现出内容贫乏,思路狭窄、不开阔。
3.写作技巧欠缺。
不少同学动笔前没有审题、构思的习惯,提笔就写,边想边写,东拼西凑,语无伦次,根本没有使文章主题与段落和句子连为一体的整体概念。
另一方面,学生在写作时只注意单句的意思表达,而忽视了句子的逻辑关系。
分析了学生的主要问题之后,我就有意识地对学生进行写作重要性的教育,并通过立足教材和活用教材,重视挖掘,拓宽学生写作的渠道,指导学生进行高效的英语写作练习。
一、重视学生平时的积累。
书面表达注重学生综合运用语言的能力,从高一就要抓起,指导学生养成良好的语言习得习惯,着重打好语言学习基础,尤其是词句的练习。
此外,还要采取一些方法培养学生的语感和笔头写作能力。
1、背诵课文中含有语言点的句子、段落,含有主旨句的段落,并且进行仿说、活用。
这样做不仅可以帮助学生理解课文,记忆重要的短语、句型,而且还可以积累话题写作内容和培养语感。
2、积累短语词汇。
词汇是说话写作的必需材料要求学生每天运用联想、发散等方法记忆一定量的单词。
在词汇教学中,坚持用英语解释新单词,注意同义词和同词根的积累,开发学生发散性思维。
例如:见到短语as a matter of fact(事实上)这个短语时,就可以让学生写出所有的表达这个意思的词和短语,有in fact ;in actual fact;in reality以及副词actually。
并且要求学生造句,在句子中记住它们。
3、收集英语中写作的各种题型的格式和篇章结构,尤其是一些实用文体如书信、邀请函、通知、口头通知等。
背诵开头和结尾的优美句型。
4、坚持一句多译练习。
开发学生发散性思维,坚持表达方式多样化的练习。
如:会议结束了,就可以翻译为:
Their meeting came to an end .
They put an end to their meeting .
They put their meeting to an end.
Their meeting was put to an end .
Their meeting was brought to an end.
They brought their meeting to an end.
They brought an end to their meeting.
5、限时训练,集中精力,一气呵成。
在限定时间内,一般是20分钟,完成写作、修改,定稿和誊写任务是有一定难度的,所以平时注重限时训练,养成良好习惯,时刻提醒同学要善于避生就熟,“曲线”表达,但切记中文式英语,要善于英语思维。
二、加强英语写作步骤的教学。
在教学中,一直向学生强调要想拿高分就要取悦于阅卷老师。
阅卷老师喜欢的文章:字体工整,卷面整洁,紧扣主题,条理清晰;语言地道,过渡自然;长度适中,一气呵成。
而讨厌的文章:层次不清,段落不分;语句不通,杂乱无章;书写潦草,卷面不清。
在教学中应根据教学内容设计使用一系列教学活动,提高学生的写作技能。
第一步:审题构思,明确体裁和格式。
在平时写作训练中,让学生明确常见的几种文体和格式,教师应该结合课文分类,按题材归纳,通过对各种文体的分析,掌握各种文体所需语言材料,促使学生熟悉英语篇章的常见结构,使学生熟悉不同文体的构成要素和不同要素的层次结构。
只有这样学生写作时才会得心应手。
第二步:抓住要点,一一对应。
要点齐全是得高分的关键,要点遗漏要扣分。
一般为5~8个要点,加一些次要点构成一篇文章。
可用列提纲式或关键词列出,以防遗漏。
第三步:遣词造句,句式灵活多变。
教师应该帮助学生选择丰富多彩的语言材料。
这些材料能够调动学生的兴趣,在润物无声中丰富学生的语言知识,提高学生的语感,开阔学生的文化视野。
在阅读中,有意识的对各种从句、倒装句、强调结构、虚拟语气等语言形式进行分析、欣赏和积累对于学生形成英语语感、准确表达自己的思想有很大的帮助。
从而为从根本上迅速提高学生书面表达能力打下扎实的基础。
仅仅做到这些还不够,让学生的作文亮起来还要注意:
1、用词要亮,要简洁,不重复,要生动。
2、避免汉语式英语。
如:The fish doesn’t smell fresh.不能写成:The fish
smells not fresh.
3、造句要亮:可以有意识地在文中使用非谓语动词形式、倒装句、虚拟语气、省略
句及with的复合结构等句式,使文章更有表现力和感染力。
如:
A strong storm hit/struck in our city last week要比A strong storm
happened in our city last week生动活泼的多。
又如:Only by working hard can we succeed要比We can succeed by
Working hard更富有说服力。
4、句间和段间过渡要亮。
要在文章中段间、句间恰当使用一些表示过渡性的词语。
如:表转折用but,however,nevertheless,yet,while,though,although,on the contrary
等;表原因用because,since,for,以及介词短语because of,thanks to,due to,owing to等;
表个人观点用in my opinion,as far as I concerned,personally,from my point of view,I
think等还有其他的英语中表示上下文逻辑关系的词,使文章有机地结合在一起成
为一个完整的整体。
第四步:规范作文的篇章结构。
作文基本格式很重要,三段式仍需强调:开头段—开门见山,点明主旨;主体段—衔接自然,内容连贯;可以由一个或一个以上的自然段组成,主要是以说明事由、叙述事件为主体,应该详细写。
结尾段—简洁有力,首尾呼应。
这三段浑然一体,不可分割。
这就要求学生会用恰当的过渡词和过渡句使文章承上启下,流畅通顺。
总之,英文写作是一个学生综合能力的书面体现,是一个长期复杂的训练过程。
只有坚持不懈地把学生综合能力的培养贯穿于日常的教学活动中,在写作教学中不断探索和创新,才能打破传统写作教学的模式,达到一个新的高度。
教师要将阅读、翻译和写作技能的培养结合起来,加强对语言基本知识和基本技能的训练及中西思维差异的对比研究,这样才能使中学生的英语写作水平得到全面提高。
培养学生的写作能力不是一蹴而就的,需要教师在平时就从学生的实际水平出发,有目的、有机会、有要求、有检查、有反馈地进行训练,由易至难,循序渐进。
只有这样,学生到高考时才能做到厚积薄发,思如泉涌,下笔如有神。
