According to an official statistics, in the year 2011 alone, there were more than 1.4 million applicants sitting for the exam. It seems to be a craze for postgraduate study.People have different purposes in trying to go to the graduate school. First, the majority of candidates try to get into graduate school due to the employment pressure, as a bachelors degree is no longer evaluated as a sufficient qualification to ensure a decent job nowadays. Second, some people, though employed for years, find their knowledge inadequate to meet the demand of this ever-developing society. Naturally, they turn topostgraduate study. Third, some people see postgraduate study as a fashion and follow suit.In my opinion, it is advisable to pursue postgraduate study under the present condition of lowEmployment rate and high demands on talents. And I have every reason to believe that more people will struggle to study in the graduate school and the craze for graduate study will last for years.英语六级作文:研究生(Rush for Postgraduate Study) 篇4 every year, million of college students will sit in for the post-graduate entrance eamination. more and more students have regarded the pursuing of a master degree as an indispensable part of their education.what is to account for their enthusiasm for a post-graduate diploma? first, it is the demand of the second, we all recognize that the more education you have, the more likely you are to succeed. compared with those without a master degree, masters will enjoy more preferential treatment, for eample, better salaries, more opportunities for promotion and training. a post-graduate degree can guarantee a more promising career.last but not least, with the graduation of a large number of college students, competition for jobs becomes more and more fierce. one way to gain some advantage over others is to have a higher degree.no wonder millions of students will consider pursuing a post-graduate degree.英语六级作文:研究生(Rush for Postgraduate Study) 篇5 In recent years, there have been great concerns over the life attitude of the youngsters. As is depicted in the picture above, facing a bottle with most the wine spilled out on the ground, oneman is sighing the tragedy, whereas the other rejoices over the remained wine in the bottle. The real implications of the picture lies in that different attitude leads to completely diverse results. For optimistic people, they could find the happiness even facing the most difficult situation. And life is a comedy. Conversely, for people with pessimistic attitude, troubles are everywhere and always exist. Their lives is filled with one after another tragedies. To my best understanding, the story of Den Yaping could be the best illustration of this point. If she kept upset by her stature, she could not have achieved so much in table tennis. All in all, young people should bear in mind that "better to light a candle than to curse the darkness".英语六级作文:研究生(Rush for Postgraduate Study) 篇6 many people regard entering a graduate school as the last chance to pursue academic education and as the place where students can keep on learning and concentrate on their studies. but, what graduate students study? teachers at school will tell you many serious topics. let me talk about this from the perspective of an ex-graduate student.i entered one of charles moore’s studios in texas university at the age of 28. on the first day to school, the assistant gave me a piece of paper after receiving my personal information. i had to go to the place drawn on the paper with my “bathing suit” on a certain day. when i got there, i found that was charles moore’s self-designed residence in austin. the teacher and students all dipped in a swimming pool. when we felt it was enough, we would get out of the pool and had mexican barbecue. in my memory, i spent my first semester traveling and enjoying fine food.of course this was not all of my two-year graduate school life. but the point is which part of your graduate school life you want to recall after so many years? or, is there anything worthy of being mentioned?the two-year graduate school life is not the extension of college life. it is a brand-new learning phase. if college education comprises 80 percent of practicality and 20 percent of ideal which helps most students find a job right after graduation and leaves some chances for grow, then education of a graduation school comprises 80 percent of ideal and 20 percent of practicality whose goal is to discover more potential from students. if you intended to find a job with higher wages, you need not spend two more years going back to school.if you want to pursue a higher goal, you will not care what graduate students study. what you will care is what kind of life you want in order to broaden your eyesight and to pursue this higher goal.英语六级作文:研究生(Rush for Postgraduate Study) 篇7 If you are preparing for Graduate Enrolment Exams (GEE),you are in good company. You are among tens of thousands of college students who focus their energy and efforts on it. You are living in the time of the great GEE boommwhich began in the late 1980B As a result of the boom, every senior or even junior interested in GEE seems to be preparing for itg What caused the GEE fever ⅡThe reasons vary. Some students intend to have advanced studies. Many more go to pursue a higher degree which may get them a better job rather than subjects they enjoy. Over the past decade, graduates with master's degrees earn many credits in intensive job market. They are valued and provided with preferential (优惠的,优先的) treatment, includinghigh salaries, sound research facilities, residential conditions.GEE now means more than just getting another qualification. Tomorrow's challenge is for students to catch up and close the gap today. The idea of advanced study is exciting because it makes learning a constant adventure. Students consider it a lifestyle as well as a special way to look for jobs. Their thinking skills give them the power to set their own goals and the confidence to achieve them.英语六级作文:研究生(Rush for Postgraduate Study) 篇8 rush for postgraduate studynowadays more and more college graduates decide to pursue postgraduate study on the eve of their graduation. from the table, we can see that in , there were only 3,900,000 million applicants participating in the eam. the recent statistics show that the applicants have increased greatly with a total number of 7,970,000last year and 9,450,00 this year.the great change which has taken place is chiefly due to the following reasons. first, college graduates have to face a tight job market, which is increasingly competitive because a huge number of them will go job-hunting. confronted with the tough job-seeking, more and nore graduates turn to further education for a better future.in addition, there also a number of students who really want to continue their studies at graduate schools to deepen their knowledge in a part icular field.what’s the net stop of those college graduates? in my opinion, receiving further education is a good solution for the college graduates. but it’s still up to those graduates who have a good knowledge of themselves to make the final choice.。

12月英语六级作文预测题目范文12月英语六级作文预测题目范文1三人生哲理:人生Directions:For this part you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay commenting on the remark “The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it.” You can give examples to illustrate your point and then explain what you will do to make your life more meaningful. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.预测范文The famous saying “The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it” is rather thought-provoking, which tells us the real meaning of life. It is contemporary social issue in China with common interests and permanent value. In my view, there are good reasons to undertake meaningful things that exert positive and profound influence on the society, such as protecting the environment, helping vulnerable groups as well as promoting education. To illustrate, Abraham Lincoln never wavered in his devotion to democracy and equality, whose life has become an inspiration in the United States and throughout the whole world. His life, though limited, definitely lasts longer, and is a life worth living. Likewise, a young person who aspires to be a great writer might decide to buy some literary books or spend weekends writing and refining his works. Without any aspiration, he mightsimply end up spending all his spare time surfing online or playing Internet games. In brief, a meaningful life serves to motivate and guide us in our daily lives. It provides us with the focus and direction that enable us to work towards accomplishing a special goal, objective or task.参考译文“将生命花在比生命更长远的事上,就是尽用生命”这一说法相当发人深思。
2020年12月大学英语六级作文真题及范文
2020年12月大学英语六级作文真题及范文2020年12月大学英语六级作文真题及范文Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay entitled Man and Computer by commenting on the saying, “The real danger is not that the computer will begin to think like man, but that man will begin to think like the computer.” Yo u should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.范文范文一:Man and ComputerEver since the birth of it, the computer has largely changed human being’s life and there has been a hot debate about its effects on humans. Undeniably, computers have taken the place of humans in many areas and it seems that computers begin to think like man, but this does not necessarily leadto the danger that man will think like computers. The reasons, in my opinion, are as follows. Firstly, when computers release human from repetitive tasks, humans themselves can spend more time on creative works, such as scientific research, which require imagination and cannot be completed by computers. Meanwhile, thanks to computers, humans get more spare time with their friends and family, which enhances their happiness. Moreover, even though computers can work automatically, the premise is that the program, which is written by humans, has been installed in it.In conclusion, humans, unlike computers, have creative abil ity, emotional desires and social bounds. Thus, I don’t think that there will be the danger that man will begin to think like the computer.范文二:Man and ComputerIt is believed that the computer is bringing the world into a brand new era. At the time the computer was invented, scientists, marveling at its calculating speed, felt that they had created a miracle. Nowadays, the function of the computer is no longer confined to calculation; it permeates people’s daily lives and has become an inseparable p art of human society.People become so heavily dependent on computers that itis hard to imagine the life without computers. Therefore, some people are worried that “The real danger is not that the computer will think like man, but man will think like the computer.” Their concern does make sense. Indeed, some people spend such a long time working on computers that they have few interactions with people in real life. According to a research, too many hours in front of a computer may lead to a poker face and interpersonal isolation. This fact should arouse our attention, because unlike computers, human beings are social creatures that need emotional connections with others.Yet, it is also unnecessary for us to be overwhelmed by the negative impacts of computers. After all, we humans areintelligent and will be able to figure out better ways to make improvements.。

The Phenomenon of Postgraduate EntranceExam in ChinaIn recent years, the craze for postgraduate entrance exams has been on the rise in China, with an increasing number of college graduates choosing to further their studies at the graduate level. This trend is not withoutits reasons, as the ever-evolving job market demands higher qualifications and skills from job seekers. 关于研究生压力的英语作文,用例子证明观点
关于研究生压力的英语作文,用例子证明观点Graduate students are facing increasing pressure in today's competitive academic environment. This pressure comes from various sources, including academic expectations, research demands, financial burdens, and personal challenges. In this essay, we will explore the reasons behind the pressure on graduate students and provide examples to illustrate these points.First and foremost, academic expectations play a significant role in the pressure experienced by graduate students. Graduate programs are rigorous and demanding, requiring students to excel in their coursework, research, and exams. For example, a graduate student in a Ph.D. program may be expected to publish research papers in top-tier journals, present at conferences, and defend their dissertation within a certain timeframe. The pressure to meet these academic expectations can be overwhelming, leading to stress and anxiety.Secondly, research demands contribute to the pressure on graduate students. Conducting research is a fundamental aspect of graduate education, and students are expected to produce original and impactful work in their field. This often involves long hours in the lab or library, troubleshooting experiments, analyzing data, and writing reports. For instance, a graduate student working on a thesis project may encounter setbacks and challenges that require them to adapt their research plan and timeline. The pressure to produce high-quality research results can be daunting, especially when faced with limited resources and support. Moreover, financial burdens add to the stress experienced by graduate students. Many students rely on scholarships, grants, or part-time jobs to fund their education and living expenses. The cost of tuition, housing, textbooks, and other necessities can create financial strain, forcing students to juggle multiple responsibilities. For example, a graduate student working part-time to make ends meet may struggle to balance their job with their academic and research commitments. The pressure to manage finances and secure funding can be a constant source of worry for graduate students.Lastly, personal challenges contribute to the overall pressure on graduate students. Balancing academic responsibilities with personal life, relationships, and mental health can be challenging. For instance, a graduate student dealing with family issues, health problems, or emotional stress may find it difficult to focus on their studies and research. The pressure to maintain a work-life balance and take care of oneself can be overwhelming, leading to burnout and exhaustion. In conclusion, graduate students face a multitude of pressures in their academic journey, including academic expectations, research demands, financial burdens, and personal challenges. These pressures can have a significant impact on students' well-being and academic performance. It is important for universities, faculty, and support services to recognize and address the needs of graduate students, providing resources and assistance to help them navigate the challenges they face. By fostering a supportive and inclusive academic environment, we can help graduate students thrive and succeed in their studies and research.。

报考研究生人数上涨的英文作文In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of students applying for graduate school. This trend can be attributed to several factors.Firstly, pursuing a postgraduate degree has become increasingly essential in today's competitive job market. 英语作文——对于考研热潮的观点
My view on the post-graduate craze.Nowadays, there is a majority of senior student choosing to go after the post-graduate when they are faced with the choice of graduation, which has been a fashion sweeping all over the universities. Various factors, I think, contribute to this situation of the post-graduate craze.Among the students who decide to continue with postgraduate education, they are divided into two groups. For the one group, they are willing to devote themselves to the academic research and usually they have a direct goal about the future. It’s necessary for them to get the postgraduate education. This kind of students is generally the top students in one class. However, not all the students have the interests on academic field. For the other group, most students are usually confused about what they can do when they step into society. It’s long term school life that makes students have not enough confidence to be adapted to the new environment after their graduation. What’s more, the tense graduate employment situation frightens the future graduates and they would rather have a try to the examination for postgraduate than avoid looking for work. The reason for the dilemma is that universities put excessive attention on book knowledge and neglect the necessity of society skills. As a result, senior students had better decide whether they should take part in the postgraduate examination after their deep consideration. What’s suitable is the best.。
2023年上半年英语六级作文预测范文(精彩9篇)
2023年上半年英语六级作文预测范文(精彩9篇)2022上半年英语六级作文预测范文篇一From the cartoon given above,we can observe that there are many people in a bus. When seeing that an elder man is entering into the bus, the old man near the seat just stands up instantly, says “ please have a seat here” and offers his seat to the elder one. However, all of the other people around, young and healthy, show no intention of giving seats to the old and infirm man.The cartoon aims at informing us of the phenomenon of the gradual loss of social morality. Quite a few people today are selfish and egocentric. when putting self-interest in the first place, they tend to overlook others’ benefit or feelings and become nonchalant. Moreover, this phenomenon can also be attributed to people’s concern that their social morality, which can be best expressed through kindness, hospitality and warm-hearted behaviors, will sometimes invite unnecessary trouble. However,no one can deny the importance of social morality. It is conducive to the harmony of society, people equipped with the awareness of social morality are more likely to provide others with a helping hand, endeavor to abide by social orders and curb on their undesirable behaviors. Confronted with the inexorable decline in the emphasis of social ethics, we should adopt some measures to reverse the current situation. (218 words)2021年6月英语六级作文预测范文篇二No Spitting!不随地吐痰With SARS gradually passing its peak, more and more people take off their gauze masks. Theyfeel released and have more freedom to breathe in fresh air. However, a certain number ofpeople have restored their bad habit and start to spit everywhere. Now and then, whether inthe street, or on the bus, or in city gardens, we will see some people, the fine ladies andgentlemen, spitting without feeling a bit ashamed as shown in the picture. When shown the "nospitting!" sign, they just turn a blind eye to it. Still worse, people around have to be on guardagainst the sudden at tack of "spits hot" from the spitters.Spitting is a terrible habit. For one thing, it is entirely uncivilized. The world has entered the 21st century and human civilization has reached a more advanced stage. Why can't thosepeople remove this ugly habit? Is it because they think the earth is a gigantic spit toon? Foranother thing, spitting does great harm to public health. Only a smallportion have committed serious crimes like kidnapping and murdering. Those cases arehandled through the court system. Most of the delinquencies fall into four categories: brawling, including gang fighting with deadly weapons; theft, mostly petty, sexually promiscuousbehaviour and addiction to drugs. The delinquents are generally placed under temporarysupervision by neighbourhood committees, work units or reform schools. The causes of juvenile delinquency are varied. Through media we often come across thefollowing cases:Ill-treatment to teenagers by their step-fathers or stepmothers often lead to family tragedies. School pupil delinquents, being not properly cared for, have chronic behaviour problems. Theirparents are too busy either with business or with gambling. Still, there are cases resulted fromparents' or grandparents' indulgence to their darlings. Petty theft once or twice is notpunished but encouraged. Gradually these petty thieves grow addicted to stealing . Adolescentstried drugs mostly out of curiosity before they finally became habitual drug-takers.Not a few examples can be found around us in our daily life. Limited by time and space, I haveto skip them over. However, juvenile delinquency, being a serious social problem concerningthe young generation, certainly deserves special attention. I think of all the things we can do, the most fundamental one is deepening and strengthening education so as to ultimately savethe young.2022年上半年英语六级作文预测范文篇四Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on the importance of having a sense of community respousibility. It is small and crowded. The dark green walls andthe dirty white ceiling make the room seem dark, and thus even smaller than it is. As you walkinto the room, you are stopped short by my bed which fills half of the room. The two largewindows over the bed are hidden by heavy dark gold drapes. Against the wall on your left, pushed into a corner behind the head of the bed, is a large bookcase which is crammed withpapers ,books, and knick-knacks, Wedged in between the bookcase and the wall opposite thebed is a small grey metal desk. It has a brown wooden chair which seems to fill the left end ofthe room. Stuffed under the desk is a wooden wastepaper bas ket over — flowing with paperand debris. The wall above the bookcase and desk is completely taken up with two smallposters. On the right hand of the room is a nar row closet with clothes, shoes, hats, tennisracquets, and boxes bulging out of its sliding doors. "2022上半年英语六级作文预测范文篇六From the bar chart given above, we can observe that the number of people traveling abroad experienced some changes in China during the past several years. From 1999 to 2000, the number of Chinese people traveling abroad increased rapidly from 7.5 million to 10 million, and then to 12.1 million in 2001.The bar chart reveals that people in mounting numbers are going to travel abroad. What exactly contribute to this phenomenon? Reasons can be listed as follows: for one thing, the authorities have issued some preferential policies to promote the development of the overseas tourism industry, which encourages a sudden emergence of travel agencies that can provide customers with convenient overseas tourism services. Additionally, with the improvement of financial status and purchasing power, a considerable number of Chinese people can afford the once-deemed-expensive traveling expenses. Last but not least, as there exists huge difference in cultures, customs and landscapes between China and overseas countries, quite a few people hold that overseas traveling is not only a perfect way to relax oneself, but also a good chance to enrich their knowledge and expand their horizons.By observing the trend in the past, we may forecast that the growth tendency will continue. However, overseas tourism is also a highly variable industry which is vulnerable to seasons and climates, international political situation, fluctuations in exchange. Today the difference is verymarked indeed.Old people are always saying that the young are not what they were. The same comment ismade from generation to generation and it is always true. It has never been truer than it istoday. The young are better educated. They have a lot more money to spend and enjoy morefreedom. They grow up quickly and are not so dependent on their parents. They think more ofthemselvesand do not blindly accept the idea of their elders. Events which the older generationremembers vividly are nothing more than past history.Just look at the teenage girls who scream hysterically over the pop stars and the teenage boyswho copy the stars and grow their hair long and are no longer ashamed of wearing "pretty" clothes, are simply breaking through the chinese traditional reserve and fear of showing theirfeelings. What is more, nowadays most boys and girls are good companions and some of themeven fall in "puppy love." A lot of older people sigh and say, "we did not use to do like this."Do you think the older people's criticism stems from jealousy just because they could not ordid not behave in the same way when they were young?2022上半年英语六级作文预测范文及模板篇八Why Blue Jeans Popular?牛仔裤为什么流行?Everywhere you go, you'll see people, male or female, old or young, wearing jeans. Indeed, jeans have grown more and more popular since the first pair was born. In newspapers andmagazines or on TV you often come across such ads as "Buy these jeans they are cheap. Buythem — they are hardwea ring. Buy them — they are comfortable." I think there is no cheatingin these ads.In the first place, jeans are so cheap that almost everyone can afford to buy a pair, especiallyfor students and wage-earners. No one would not pay less and get more. That jeans wear well and wash well is their second superiority to other kinds of trousers. Wherever you go and whatever you do, you'll find jeans your good companion. Made of purecotton, jeans are very comfortable. What is more, they produce a good image and make youlook casual, sporty, tough, elegant, and sophisticated.Modern fashions come and go quickly, but, thanks to Levi Strauss, jeans alwaysr emain people'sfirst choice.2022年上半年英语六级作文预测范文篇九Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on the importance of having a sense of family responsibility. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.参考答案:Home should be where people feel secure and comfortable. Maintaining harmony at home is essential for the well-being of an individual, a couple and their offspring, and even the society. But many are being plagued by family discord, a problem that boils down to the lack of a sense of family responsibility.Everyone has certain roles to take on in his or her family. Parents are expected to ensure their children are well-nourished and well-educated, helping them build a strong body and great character. We college students also need to take our responsibility as adult children. Being independent of our parents as early as possible lightens the financial burden on them. Learning to be mature and sensible can prevent us from becoming a constant source of worry to them. Fulfilling our filial duty to the best of our abilities allows them to enjoy life in midlife years, retirement and the twilight years. In brief, a sense of responsibility among family members is a prerequisite for a warm and loving family. Often far away from home, we may start by keeping in contact with our parents, asa means to meet our obligations as part of our family.。

However, it doesn’t mean that most ofus are losers. Actually everyone can achieve high by doing small things in a great way.We have to admit that there are something that we cannot accomplis h right now, but it isn’t the excuse for us to stop trying. Being great needs time and patience, so only when all small accomplishments add up can many impossibilitiesgradually turn to possibilities. At least, one won’t regret for not making effort to achieve the goal. For example, one may doesn’t have the resources or training on how to be a world-class musician, but by constant practice of every short piece of music, he can still bring happiness, comfort and inspiration to his family members and friends, then this person is great in the eyes of the audiences. Therefore, never cease the pace on the road to our dreams. As long as we stick to our goal and be serious to whatever related to it, we can be considered as great.。
研究生热潮英语作文
研究生热潮英语作文The current trend of pursuing a postgraduate degree is gaining momentum among young people. It seems like everyone around me is either preparing for the GRE or writing their personal statements for grad school applications. The pressure to continue one's education after obtaining a bachelor's degree is palpable. The job market is becoming increasingly competitive, and a master's degree is often seen as a necessary step to stand out from the crowd. Many of my peers feel that a bachelor's degree is no longer sufficient to secure a well-paying job or to pursue a career in their desired field. As a result, the pursuit of higher education has become almost a rite of passage for young adults. However, the decision to pursue a postgraduate degreeis not solely driven by career prospects. Many students are also motivated by a genuine passion for their field ofstudy and a desire to further their knowledge and expertise. They see graduate school as an opportunity for personal and intellectual growth, regardless of its potential impact on their future career. The cost of graduate school is a major concern for many students. With tuition fees on the rise, the financial burden of pursuing a postgraduate degree can be daunting. Many students are forced to take out substantial loans or seek out scholarships and grants in order to finance their education. The fear of being saddled with debt for years to come is a significant deterrent for some potential applicants. The experience of being a graduate student is often romanticized, with images of late-night study sessions, heated academic debates, and the pursuit of knowledge for its own sake. However, the reality is often much less glamorous. The workload can be overwhelming, the pressure to excel is intense, and the competition among peers can be fierce. The mental and emotional toll of graduate school should not be underestimated.Despite the challenges and uncertainties, the pursuit of a postgraduate degree continues to be a popular choice for many young people. Whether driven by career ambitions, intellectual curiosity, or a combination of both, the decision to continue one's education beyond a bachelor's degree is a deeply personal one. As someone who is also considering this path, I can't help but feel both excited and apprehensive about what the future holds.。

英语四级六级作文预测:考公务员热1)近几年兴起了一股报考国家公务员的热潮2)分析产生这一现象的原因3)你对此的看法是……In recent years, there are more and more people who have participated in the test for national civil servants. Millions of students choose civil servant as their most ideal occupation after graduation. And among them, the high-educated, like masters and doctors, take quite a large percentage. The craze in civil servant test has attracted widespread attention. The following reasons can account for this kind of craze. Above all, nowadays college students face great employment pressure. Civil servant, as one of the most stable professions in today’s China, becomes their preferable choice. Moreover, in recent years, the welfare and salary of civil servants have been improved greatly, which undoubtedly attracts many people. Besides, the high social position of civil servants is an important factor drawing many people to take part in the civil servant test.In my opinion, this craze in civil servant test will continue in the following years. However, f rom the long run, it doesn’t do good to the development of the nation. If most high quality talents gather in the government departments, it might lead to a waste of resources. Graduate Craze
A growing number of college students and even people from all walks of life take part in the National Graduate Entrance Examination nowadays. According to an official statistics, in the year 2020 alone, there were more than 1.4 million applicants sitting for the exam. It seems to be a craze for postgraduate study.
People have different purposes in trying to go to the graduate school. First, the majority of candidates try to get into graduate school due to the employment pressure, as a bachelor’s degree is no longer evaluated as a sufficient qualification to ensure a decent job nowadays. Second, some people, though employed for years, find their knowledge inadequate to meet the demand of this ever-developing society. Naturally, they turn to postgraduate study. Third, some
people see postgraduate study as a fashion and follow suit.
In my opinion, it is advisable to pursue postgraduate
study under the present condition of low
Employment rate and high demands on talents. And I have every reason to believe that more people will struggle to study in the graduate school and the craze for graduate study will last for years.。
