Teaching procedures:

Step1. leading in

Have a free talk and then ask two students to talk about the pictures with the sentence What’s it used for?”

Step2. Listening practice

Show some flashes; listen carefully and match the years with the inventions.

Step3. Pair work

Then ask students to make a conversation :

A: When was the computer invented ?

B: It was invented in.... .

A: What’s it used for?

B: It is used for.......

Step4. Listening

Have students listen to the conversation in 2d and fill in the following the blanks.
