The idea of Inception was developed by Christopher Nolan, who is a world-renowned British-American film director, writer and producer. He is best known for and directing such famous films as Dark knight, the remake Insomnia, and rebooting the Batman film franchise. In the world of Inception, where technology has the power to enter the human mind through dream invasion, an idea can be the most dangerous weapon. In this way, it has similarities with another blockbuster "The Matrix". In "The Matrix", human beings and machines battled on various reality levels created by artificial intelligence. While in "Inception", Nolan imagines a new kind of corporate espionage wherein a team of extractors enter a targeted person's brain during the dream state to steal or plant new ideas. Of course, Inception is not the first movie to have dream as its theme, nor will it be the last one. However, with its meticulously chosen of cast, the ingenious and intriguing script, unpredictable twists of plot as well as its splendid visual effects and memorable action scenes, this innovative and exciting science-fiction thriller sure will demand you full attention and leave you talking non-stop to your friends after you've left the cinema. On a scale of one to ten, Inception deserves a solid 9.5.

due to some reasons later told. He and his associate Arthur who helped him in a mission of stealing information from a wealthy Japanese businessman Saito's deepest subconscious failed the mission. Then Dom was offered a chance by Saito to come back home under the condition that he would do an almost impossible job--instead of stealing ideas, he was asked to plant a new idea into Robert Fischer's mind. Fischer, who is the heir to a multibillion-dollar energy empire would split up the empire which was built by his dying father after the mission succeeded. To fulfill this mission, he gathered a team of talented members--Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Dom's longtime trusted associate; Eames (Tom Hardy), the forger, a master of impersonating people inside other's dreams; Yusuf (Dileep Rao), a chemist who provides the sedative that makes the dream state more stable; Ariadne (Ellen Page), the skillful architect, who has a nature gift at designing dream worlds just like mazes. However , Dom's late wife, Mal (Marion Cotillard), who has complicated relations with Dom, appears in every mission he works on and tries to sabotage it. The reason why Inception is worth seeing lies in its ingenious design of plot. The incredibly intense atmosphere of suspense was built during the dream. In the movie, three layers of dreams were built, which means you are dreaming and having a dream in the dream at the same time. Each dream was decorated with intensive fighting, harsh environment as well as tantalizing proceedings and complicated relationships which would keep you guessing and speculating whether it is in the dream or reality and what would happen next. This is especially exemplified in one scene after they entered Fischer's dream where Saito was badly injured in the first layer of the dream by the projections of Fischer. Due to the strength of the sedatives and multiple dream layers, death in a dream will not awaken the person, but will result in going into "limbo", a world of unconstructed dream space, for a seemingly indefinite time. Never had one simple supporting role caught so much sympathy that the audience deadly hope him not to die. Another highlight of this movie is its astounding visual effect. In one scene of the second layer of the dream, the gravity has been suspended. A weightless state was produced. However, the scene was shot under real situations where actors were wrapped in wires and jumping from wall to wall. With the minimum usage of digital techniques, the movie brought the audience much closer. Unlike any other remakes and sequels, Inception was the most original movie made by Nolan this year. It leaves us with all the answers we need, but without answering all of our questions. So you’ll be asking them along after you’ve walked out of the cinema with Édith Piaf's song "Non, je ne regrette rien" lingering in your mind.
