对研究生生活的期待英语作文
对研究生生活的期待英语作文What do graduate students learn? Many people think that entering graduate school is the last opportunity for academic education. It is a place where students continue to study and concentrate on their studies. However, what graduate students learn in school? Teachers will tell you a lot of serious topics.Let me talk about this from a perspective. I am a graduate student. On my first day of school, I entered the University of Texas Charles ·At Moore's studio, the assistant received my personal information and gave me a piece of paper.I had to wear my swimsuit to the place where the paper was painted. I found that it was Charles Moore's residence in Austin. Teachers and students had a dip in the pool. When we felt enough, we would walk out of the pool and eat Mexican barbecue in my memory, My first semester was traveling and enjoying delicious food. Of course, this is not the whole of my two-year postgraduate life. But the question is, after you have lived in graduate school for so many years, which part of your graduate life do you want to recall? Is there anything worth mentioning? Two years of graduate life is not an extension of university life.If the university education contains% practicality and% ideal, it will help most students find jobs immediately after graduation and leave some opportunities for growth. This is a new learning stage. Then, the education of graduation school includes both ideal and practice, and its goal is to start from students If you want to find a job with a higher salary, you don't need to spend another two years back at school. If you want to pursue a higher goal, you won't care what graduate students study. It's to broaden your horizons and pursue higher goals. What kind of life do you want.。

你想像的研究生生活和毕业工作英语作文
你想像的研究生生活和毕业工作英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1What I Want to Be When I Grow UpWhen I grow up, I really want to go to graduate school and get a master's degree or even a PhD! I know that seems like a super long time from now since I'm just a kid. But I've been thinking about it a lot lately.First off, I would love being a graduate student because you get to learn about really cool and interesting topics in-depth. In elementary school, we just skim the surface on subjects like science, math, and history. But in graduate school, you can dive deep into one specific area that fascinates you.For example, if I went to graduate school for biology, I could study crazy things like the mating habits of exotic rain forest frogs or the impact of climate change on polar bear populations. How awesome would that be? I'd get to read all the latest research, talk to experts, and maybe even travel to jungles or the Arctic for field work. Nothing boring about that!Or maybe I'd get a degree in computer science and learn to build artificial intelligence robots or design video games. I'm already pretty good at coding from the computer camps I go to every summer. With a graduate degree, I could take it to another level and create mind-blowing new technologies. No matter what subject I pursue, being a graduate student means asking questions that no one has answers to yet. I'd get to be like a scientific explorer, venturing into the unknown in search of new discoveries and knowledge. That's way more exciting than just memorizing facts from a textbook.Another awesome part of graduate school would be the flexibility. From what I understand, grad students don't have as many rules and schedules as kids in elementary or high school. You can show up to campus whenever you want, wear whatever you want, and study at night or on weekends if that works better for you. No more raising your hand to get a bathroom pass!Grad students also get to pick their own research topics and advisors to mentor them. It's like having a say in designing your own curriculum. I definitely wouldn't mind that kind of freedom and independence. But from everything I've read and heard about it, all that effort pays off in the end by becoming a true expert in your field. With a graduate degree, you're part of an elite group of scholars and thinkers. That's a huge accomplishment and something I hope to achieve someday. After finishing up at graduate school, I'd love to use my advanced education and expertise in an exciting career. If I studied biology, maybe I could work at a national park or zoo taking care of endangered animal species. Or with a computer science degree, I could get hired by a cutting-edge tech company and create futuristic products like self-driving cars or virtual reality video games. So cool!Another option would be pursuing an academic career at a university. As a professor, I could continue researching areas I'm passionate about while also teaching and inspiring the next generation of students. I really admire my teachers who have made learning fun for me. Being able to give back and positively impact young people in that way would be extremely rewarding. No matter which career path I choose, I know having an advanced graduate degree will open up all sorts of opportunities. It's a chance to become a leader and pioneer in whichever field I decide to go into. Just imagining the possibilities gets me excited about hitting the books now to start preparing.I realize my career aspirations may evolve and change over the years as I gain more life experience. But as of now, being a graduate student and pursuing an advanced degree feels like the right path for me. It combines my curiosity about the world, my determination to succeed, and my desire to make a positive impact on society. What could be better than that?I can't wait to see where my education takes me in the future. For now, I'll just keep studying, learning, and dreaming about the day I finally get to trade my elementary school backpack for a grown-up briefcase and research lab. Bring it on, grad school - this kid will be ready!篇2My Big Dream of Being a Graduate StudentHi! My name is Tommy and I'm 8 years old. I love learning about science, math, and pretty much every subject. My teachers say I'm a really good student and that makes me super happy. I work really hard and always try my best.Lately, I've been thinking a lot about what I want to be when I grow up. At first, I thought maybe I could be a scientist who discovers new things about space or dinosaurs. Or maybe anengineer who designs awesome rockets and robots. Those would be so cool! But then I realized there's something even cooler I could do -I could go to graduate school and get a master's degree or evena PhD! My older cousin Jessica is in graduate school right now studying biology. She told me all about the exciting research she gets to do in the labs. She's trying to find cures for diseases by experimenting with tiny cells and chemicals. How awesome is that?If I went to graduate school, I could spend years and years learning every single thing about my favorite subjects. I would take tons of advanced classes from the smartest professors. They would teach me all the latest theories and let me use high-tech equipment to run experiments. I could explore the mysteries of science or math in so much depth!During my graduate studies, I would probably have to write a huge paper called a thesis or dissertation, Jessica told me. That means I'd get to come up with my very own ideas and research questions to investigate. Then I would carry out all sorts of tests and studies to find the answers. It sounds like a ton of work, but also incredibly exciting and rewarding. If I got a master's degree, that would probably take around 2 years of full-time studying. But a PhD takes way longer - maybe 5-6 years or even more! That seems like forever to be a student. But I don't mind at all. More time to learn and discover just sounds fun to me.And the best part is, once I finally finish graduate school and get that PhD, I could get a job as a real professor or research scientist at a university! How cool would it be to have my own lab where I'm in charge and can explore whatever topics I want? As a professor, I could teach classes and share my knowledge with students who love learning like me. Or I could lead a team of other scientists and we could team up to try and solve the biggest mysteries out there. If I took a research job, maybe I could win prestigious awards and prizes for making game-changing breakthroughs. Who knows, I might even get nominated for a Nobel Prize someday if my discoveries were impactful enough! That would be a dream come true.Wherever I end up working though, maybe at a university or a research institute or a tech company, I just know I'll feel so accomplished and proud. All those years of being a diligent student, from elementary school all the way through grad school, will finally pay off. I can't wait to walk across that stage and get my diploma after defending my dissertation! My family will be so proud too. Then I'll be able to spend my career constantly learning new things and making discoveries that actually impact the world. Maybe my work will help create new inventions that improve people's lives. Or unravel the secrets of the universe. Or solve global problems like climate change, disease, hunger, you name it! The possibilities would be endless when you have the knowledge and skills from being a graduate student. So that's my big dream - to be a dedicated student all the way through graduate school so I can grow up to be an expert researcher or professor. It's going to take a lot of perseverance and brainpower. But I'm ready for the challenge! I'll show everyone that even a kid can have what it takes. The path won't be easy, but just imagining all the incredible things I could discover makes me more excited than ever to make this dream my reality. Here I come, graduate school!篇3Imagining My Life as a Graduate Student and After GraduationWow, can you imagine me as a graduate student one day? Just thinking about it makes me so excited! I'll be an adult and get to study really fascinating and important subjects at a big university. How cool is that?First off, I'll have to pick what I want to study and get a master's degree or maybe even a doctoral degree! There are so many interesting options. If I love math and science, I could study engineering, physics, computer science, or something like that. I'd get to learn mind-bending concepts and do lots of hands-on projects and experiments. Or if I'm more into arts and language, maybe I'll study literature, creative writing, linguistics, or a foreign language and culture. I could analyze brilliant novels and poems or even write my own creative works! History is another passion of mine, so researching past civilizations and events could be really intriguing. No matter what I choose, I just know the classes will be incredibly fascinating since they'll be so advanced. The professors will be experts who have dedicated their lives to their fields. I'll get to pick their brains and learn from the very best. I can't wait to dive deep into topics that fascinate me and become a true scholar on the subjects.Grad school life itself seems like it will be such an adventure too. I'll likely live on or near the university campus, maybe in an apartment or dormitory. I'll be surrounded by other students who are just as curious and hardworking as me. We can study together, discuss intellectual ideas, or just hang out between classes. The campus will have all kinds of facilities too - libraries, labs, lecture halls, dining areas, recreation centers, and more. I'm sure I'll meet students from all over the world with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. We can learn from each other's cultures and experiences. It will be an environment overflowing with knowledge and opportunities. Then after years of devoted study, I'll achieve my degree! Can you imagine the pride I'll feel at my graduation ceremony, wearing that cap and gown as I walk across the stage? All the grueling effort will finally pay off as I receive my diploma. My family will be beaming with pride too after supporting me along the way. What an incredible personal accomplishment it will be!With my advanced degree, I'll be qualified for all kinds of amazing careers. Perhaps I'll want to continue down an academic path and become a professor myself, teaching university students and conducting research just like my mentors did for me. Won't it be fun to be on the other side and share myknowledge with the next generation? Or maybe I'll use my expertise to work in the private industry like at a major tech corporation, scientific institute, global company, or other organization. I could potentially make groundbreaking innovations or start my own business! Government jobs are an option too where I could impact policy decisions or work in public service. The possibilities will be endless. No matter which specific career I pursue, I know my graduate education will open up a world of opportunities. I'll likely earn a very respectable salary and have job security. More importantly though, I'll be doing work that is meaningful and inspires me. My advanced skills and knowledge will allow me to really make a difference and contribution to society. I could solve critical problems, advance human understanding, create useful products and services, or shape young minds. How privileged I'll be to have such an impactful career doing what I love!Clearly the journey of being a graduate student and life afterwards won't be easy. It will require immense hard work, resilience, and sacrifice. But I know the incredible rewards will be so worth it - both personally with the sense of achievement and intellectually by contributing something valuable to the world. Just picturing myself surrounded by books, daydreaming aboutconcepts, and discussing grand ideas fills me with joy. Earning an advanced degree and using it in a career I'm passionate about is my dream. With determination and perseverance, I can make it happen. The challenges ahead won't hold me back because this inspiring future vision will keep pushing me forward! I can't wait to take the first steps by studying really hard now. Look out world, here I come!篇4My Big Dream of Being a Grad StudentHi there! My name is Jimmy and I'm 8 years old. I may be just a kid, but I have really big dreams for the future. I can't wait until I grow up and go to university to be a grad student! Yeah, I know it's still a long way off, but a boy can dream, right? My older cousin Jessica is in grad school right now studying to be a scientist. She's always telling me about her crazy life as a grad student. It sounds like a total blast! She gets to spend all day learning about her favorite topics from really smart professors. She goes to fascinating lectures and gets to do all kinds of awesome experiments in the lab. She even gets to travel to conventions to present her research findings! How cool is that?Jessica says being a grad student is really hard work though. She has to read a huge stack of books and papers every week. And she has to write these massively long research papers that are like 100 pages! That's like a whole book! No way could I write that much when I was in 3rd grade. I can barely write a 5 paragraph essay without getting a cramp in my hand. Grown-ups must have super human writing powers to tackle all that. There's also a ton of pressure on grad students, Jessica tells me. Their professors are always pushing them to work harder and publish more research. If they don't get good grades, they could get kicked out of the program. No recess or naptime for slackers! And the worst part is, grad students are always broke. My cousin literally survives on ramen noodles and stale pizza. At least my mom gives me an allowance for ice cream money.Still, I think the good stuff about grad school outweighs the bad. Getting to study whatever you're passionate about for years sounds like a dream come true. Jessica is obsessed with biology and get to take classes on genetics, ecology, you name it. If I was a grad student, I'd want to learn everything about dinosaurs. Or maybe robots. Or videogame design! A kid really could go crazy with all those options. What I'm most excited about is the idea of doing my own research project as a grad student. Jessica gets to spend years just exploring her own questions and theories. How awesome is that? If it was me, I'd probably try to figure out a way to combine dinosaurs and robots. RoboRaptors that you could control with a joystick! Just think of how insanely popular dinosaur-robot hybrids would be. I'd instantly be a gazillionaire. After watching too many superhero movies, I used to dream about getting bitten by a radioactive dinosaur and waking up with electro-powers and robot armor fused to my body. But doing rad science experiments as a PhD student seems way more realistic. I could literally make RoboRaptors in a lab! Then they could star in the videogames an篇5My Big Dream of Going to Grad SchoolYou know what I really want to do when I grow up? I want to go to grad school and get a master's degree! Or maybe even a PhD! Wouldn't that be so cool?I don't know exactly what subject I want to study yet. There are so many interesting things to learn about. Maybe I'll study science and become a scientist that discovers new medicines orexplores outer space. Or maybe I'll study writing and become an author who writes exciting books and movies. Ooh, or I could study math and become a brilliant mathematician cracking secret codes for the government! The possibilities are endless. No matter what I decide to study, just imagine what grad school will be like. First, I'll have to get into a really good university. I'll probably have to take a big test called the GRE to get in. I hear it's really hard with tons of tricky questions. But I'll study super duper hard so I can get a great score.Once I'm accepted, I'll move away from home to wherever the university is located. I'll have to live in a tiny apartment or dorm room and learn to cook for myself. Well, actually I'll probably just eat frozen meals or order pizza most nights because studying will take up so much time! The classes will be really difficult with lots of big readings and research papers to write. I'll have to go to the library constantly to check out big thick books on my subject. And the professors will expect me to participate in class discussions using fancy schmancy academic language. No more raising my hand to go potty!I'll pull plenty of all-nighters fueled by energy drinks and coffee to cram for huge exams. Thank goodness for summer andwinter breaks when I can go home and sleep for a few weeks straight to catch up on rest. I'll be so thankful for holidays like Thanksgiving and Easter too when I can eat a real home-cooked meal.Maybe I'll have to be a teaching assistant too and teach some of the undergrad classes. That will be awesome practice for if I decide to become a professor someday. Although hearing a bunch of college kids call me "Professor" will make me feel like I'm 100 years old! After a few years of intense studying, writing a ginormous thesis paper, and probably going prematurely grey from all the stress, I'll finally get to dress up in a fancy robe and receive my diploma at graduation. What an incredible sense of accomplishment that will be! All the late nights, endless reading and writing, and gallons of coffee will have been worth it.Then I'll be ready to enter the workforce in my field of study as a freshly-minted master or doctor. If I study science, maybe I'll get a job in a research lab running experiments or out in the field studying animals and plants. As a writer, I could move to a big city and work at a publishing company reading and editing manuscripts all day. Or with a math degree, I could crunch numbers as an actuary, statistician or financial analyst. No matter what job I get, I'll need to wear suits and nice clothes to work each day. That means no篇6The Big Kids at UniversityWow, university seems like such an exciting place! I can't wait until I'm old enough to go to one of those big colleges. From what I've heard, being a graduate student is like being a really big kid who gets to spend all day learning about their favorite subjects. How fun would that be?I bet when you first get to university as a new graduate student, everything seems huge and overwhelming. The buildings are all tall and made of brick or stone. The libraries probably have millions of books lining the shelves from floor to ceiling. And the classrooms are nothing like our cozy little room at elementary school - they're these big auditoriums or lecture halls with hundreds of desks all facing the professor at the front. Gulp, I'm not sure I could handle being in a room that large for hours on end!But I guess after a little while, it would start to feel normal. The graduate students are the oldest kids on campus, so they're basically the top dogs. They get to pick whatever subjects theywant to spend years diving deep into. If you're really into dinosaurs like me, you could take every single class on paleontology and learn absolutely everything there is to know about those ancient creatures. Or if you're obsessed with outer space, you can take astronomycourses and learn all about planets, stars, black holes, and galaxies far, far away. How amazing is that? From what my older cousins have told me, being a graduate student means you get to act like a real researcher or scientist, not just a regular student. You get your own little office somewhere with a desk and bookshelves. And you get to work one-on-one with important professors on special research projects about cutting-edge topics that no one has ever studied before. It's like you're a mini-professor yourself! I can't even imagine what that must feel like at my age. Probably a little scary but so incredibly cool. The classes for graduate students sound intense from what I've heard. No more just sitting and listening - you have to actively participate by reading absolutely everything the professor assigns, raising your hand to ask and answer questions, and really digging into the subject matter during every single class period. You're expected to be an expert-in-training on thetopics rather than just a student learning about them for the first time. Whew, that's a lot of pressure! But for your favorite subjects, I bet it's absolutely fascinating to explore them at that level. Then once you've spent a bunch of years as a graduate student, you get to write an even longer research paper than any essay we've ever had to write in elementary school. This paper is called a "thesis" and it's like your chance to prove you really do know absolutely everything about your topic by analyzing an issue or question that no one has figured out yet. Can you imagine having to write a five hundred page book like that? It's going to take me years just to learn how to fill up that many pages! The graduate students present their thesis to a board and have to defend their work in front of the university's smartest professors. If they do a good job, they finally get their dream diploma: a Master's degree or a PhD. That means they've mastered their subject and are one of the world's top experts in their field. After all of that intense studying and research, graduate students finally get to go get a job doing whatever they've spent years training for. This is the part that really boggles my young mind! While the rest of us kids spend our days coloring, listeningto stories, and practicing arithmetic, these graduates go off to have careers in realms I can barely comprehend. Some get to be college professors themselves and teach students who want to follow in their footsteps. From what I've overheard from some family members, being a professor is such a cool profession. You're basically paid to read books, think about ideas all day, discuss cutting-edge research, and then share your knowledge by giving lectures and leading class discussions. When you're not teaching, you get to basically become a full-time researcher and writer, working on publikcations about your life's work. It's like being a professional student forever!Other graduate students go get jobs out in the "real world" doing the kind of work they've been studying. Environmental science graduates might go work at national parks or conservation agencies to help protect animals, plants and ecosystems. Political science grads can become diplomats, ambassadors, or policy advisors for important government leaders. Engineers can design new technologies that change the world, like faster computers, more efficient cars, or lots of other inventions I can't even grasp yet. Business students get to take over running major companies that operate all across the globe. It's absolutely mind-boggling the types of jobs graduate students can go get!No matter what career path they choose, those graduates make good money from what I've heard adults saying. A "salary" is the amount you get paid each year, and graduate degree holders can easily make enough to buy a big house, a couple cars, and all sorts of fun toys. Apparently the more education you get, the higher your salary can be. So while my parents feel like they have to save every penny, those graduate students can afford to spend lots on travel, entertainment, eating out - basically anything they want!I know I'm just a kid and there's no way I can fully understand what it's like to be a graduate student or professional just yet. But the glimpses I've gotten have me really looking forward to all those future possibilities. Getting to dedicate years of your life to becoming an expert on subjects you're passionate about? Conducting research and making new discoveries that expand human knowledge? Having a career that lets you impact lives, influence society, and tackle big challenges facing the world? Sign me up!Those big kids at university getting their Master's degrees and PhDs must feel like they're on top of the world. I hope to oneday feel that sense of accomplishment and intellectual fulfillment too. Graduate school seems like such an amazing place to be surrounded by brilliant minds, engage in deep thinking, and pursue knowledge in every sense of the word. Maybe if I work really hard, read a ton, and follow my scholarly dreams, I could join those ranks one day too. A kid can dream, right? Just call me Dr. Dino-Master in a few decades!。
