The imaging principle of CVBS screen is based on the Composite video signal (CVBS) standard, which combines and transmits video and synchronization signals as a single signal. The CVBS screen produces images by using a single cable to transmit the composite video signal to the display device. A TV screen or monitor that uses the CVBS standard combines the video signal, the color signal, and the synchronization signal into one composite signal, which is then transmitted to the display device.

While the imaging principle of the CVBS screen provides a simple and cost-effective solution for video transmission, its limitations in terms of image quality and resolution have led to the development and adoption of newer digital standards for video display and transmission.
