Pre-drying is not necessary.StorageSealed, undamaged bags can be kept over a long period of time in storage facilities which are dry, protected from the influence of weather and where the bags can be protected from damage.Handling and SafetyDetailed information can be obtained from the material safety data sheet (MSDS) which can be requested with every material order.Drying During its manufacturing process Grivory XE 4027 black 9916 is dried and packed with a moisturecontent of ≤ 0.10%. Should the packaging become damaged or the material is left open too long, then the material must be dried. A too high moisture content can be shown by a foaming melt and silver streaks on the moulded part. The drying can be done as follows:Temperature max. 80°CTime 4 - 12 hoursDew point -40°CTemperature max. 100°CTime 4 - 12 hoursDrying time If there is only little evidence of foaming of the melt or just slight silver streaks on the part, then the above mentioned minimal drying time will be suffi-cient. Material, which is stored open over days shows strong foaming, unusually easy flowing, streaks and rough surface on the moulded part. Then the maximal drying time is required.Silver streaks can also be caused by overheating of the material (over 350°C) or by too long melt residence time in the barrel.Drying temperaturePolyamides are affected by oxidation at tempera-tures above 80°C in the presence of oxygen. Visible yellowing of the material is an indication of oxida-tion. Hence temperatures above 80°C for desiccant dryers and temperatures above 100°C for vacuum ovens should be avoided. In order to detect oxida-tion it is advised to keep a small amount of granu-late (light colour only !) as a comparison sample.At longer residence times (over 1 hour) a hopper dryer (80°C) is useful.Use of RegrindGrivory XE 4027 black 9916 is a thermoplastic material. This allows recycling of sprues, runners and rejected components in the running processIt is recommended to add a maximum of 25% re-grind as long as the requirements on the final part allow the addition of regrind.To ensure a trouble free processing, special pre-caution has to be taken by the moulder. Followingpoints have to be kept in mind: • Avoid moisture absorption of the regrind (oth-erwise drying is necessary)Contamination by foreign material such as other polymers, dust or oil has to be avoided Property and colour changes of the part can be controlled with proper handling measures. Asymmetric demoulding and undercuts are to be avoided. It is favourable to foresee high numbers of large ejector pins or a stripper plate. Demoulding draft angles between 1 to 5° are acceptable. Venting channels on the parting surface with dimensions of depth 0.02 mm and width 2 - 5 mm are recommended.Gate and RunnerTo achieve an optimal mould-fill and to avoid sink marks, a central gate at the thickest section of the moulding is recommended. Hot-runner systems should be purged likewise. Glass fibre reinforced polyamide 66 is a suitable “bridging material”. Cylinder heating should start with a clean, product-free screw, starting from the temperature level of the “bridging material” of 300°C up to the required temperature level of 300-330°C (see processing data).After at least three full dosings (free-shots) - apply-ing the shortest possible residence time - the start up procedure can be implemented.After completion of production with Grivory HT the screw, cylinder and melt distribution system should be cleaned out thoroughly.ConditioningThe dimensions and the mechanical properties of Grivory HT products are only marginally influenced by moisture absorption. For testing purposes, parts can be stored in a climatic chamber until an in-crease in weight of 1 % has been achieved. D--旦尼尔=g/L*9000 其中g为丝线的重量(克),L为丝线的长度(米),实际上你并不需要记住什么公式,它实际上是表达了单位长度内丝线的重量,比如说很多背包底部面料用的是杜邦的1000D尼龙,它的密度非常大耐磨很好,那么,在背包的其他不太容易磨损的部位,材料就可以是600D或420D尼龙,它们的相对密度就要小一些,D前的数字越大,表示其同样面积的布料就更重一些。

通常的帐篷选用150D或70D 的尼龙,兼顾成本/重量/耐磨性,但在一些高档的super light级帐篷上,例如MHW的Annapurna,使用30D、40D的面料以最大程度减轻重量,代价是成本的大幅上升和相对耐磨性的降低。

T--面料中的T,一般指涤塔夫(polyester taffeta),是种尼龙,仿丝绸面料,一般用做帐篷的外帐和内帐,轻且坚固,例如190T,前面的数字则表示1英寸(2.545CM)内经纬纱根数(密度)的和,实际上是个密度单位,你同样可以简单的认为,T前的数字越大,那么相同面积的布料就越重。

对外帐来说,考虑到其恶劣环境中的易破损性,应注意其是否采用防刮(ripstop)结构,简单来说就是成小方格型编织,即使破损一个点,不会在强风中越扯越大。

背包外料是用密实防水的耐磨、防燃、防撕裂材料制造,多用人造纤维(Kodra)及高密度牛津尼龙布(Hi-density Nylon Oxford),一般用D来区分它们的功用,如420D牛津尼龙,1000D Kodra尼龙等,越高功能越好,越具有专业性,其缝线有些有防水喷胶膜处理。

高性能的热塑性塑料及热塑性弹性体流动性好,阻隔性好、透明性好、柔软性好、高强度、高耐热、烟雾少、气味小……这些高性能始终是热塑性材料工程师们努力追求的目标。

目前,随着高性能的热塑性塑料及热塑性弹性体的不断推出,这个目标正一步一步地被接近。

新型热塑性弹性体1、特种热塑性弹性体德国Wacker-Chemie(美国Wacker Silicones的子公司,它在世界上最先推出了嵌段共聚型含硅TPE)推出了Geniomer系列单相硅/尿素共聚物。

在该共聚物中,硅相作为软段(占90%)贡献弹性,尿素相作为硬段贡献强度和耐热性。

它们与TPSiV 完全不同,后者的结构为交联的硅橡胶颗粒分散在尼龙或其他工程热塑性塑料基料里。

Geniomer系列类似于TPU材料,从熔融状态冷却时能形成物理交联,再次加热时这些交联结构又可消失而成为熔融状态,因此它们具有真正的热塑性。

Geniomer系列可以采用所有的热塑性材料的加工方法。

它们按照邵式A硬度40~60的范围被分为4个等级。

其价格比热固性LSR材料稍贵一些。

Geniomer系列是非常透明的,不含催化剂、不含挥发性硅成分、填料或增塑剂。

其化学纯净度可适于医疗应用,其透明度可适于用作汽车玻璃层压片材的隔音材料。

它们具有硅材料的固有特性——抗紫外线、透气以及良好的脱模性,可以用于喷涂,也可以用作塑料材料与玻璃或金属材料的胶粘剂。

若少量(0.1% to~0.2%)加入到其他聚合物中,它们还可以用作加工助剂,以提高其他聚合物的流动性、低温柔韧性和防水性能。

Geniomer 系列产品的性能详见表1。

另一类全新的TPE是由日本Kaneka公司和德国BASF公司这两个公司推出的。

这是一种苯乙烯—异丁烯—苯乙烯三嵌段共聚物,简称为SIBS。

它是一种100%饱和聚合物,因此具有很好的热稳定性以及光稳定性。

日本Kaneka公司的这种被称为“Sibstar系列”的TPE价格为2.75$/lb ~2.95$/lb (1lb=0.4536kg)。

高温尼龙的主要种类及性能对比a. PA46DSM凭借对PA46先行一步的研发及专利保护,1990年首先实现了PA46的工业化生产,并一直占据耐高温聚酰胺材料上的全球市场领导地位,市场占有率远高于其它高温尼龙.除电子电气行业外,在汽车塑料上也取得重大成功并得到广泛认可。

DSM高温尼龙荷兰本土年产能只有2万吨,近年在全球加大扩张力度,仅在中国大陆工厂就已达到年产能2万吨的规模,2006年及2007年在中国年销售量均在1万吨以上。

亚太其它地区,年销售量在5000吨以上。

DSM在中国2008年1月至10月每月保持900吨以上的销售量,受经济危机影响,11月份有所下降。

但DSM并没有放慢扩张产能的步伐,为因应部分产业无卤环保要求及追求更高的热稳定性,开发成功无卤阻燃PA4T,正积极推向市场。

⾼温尼龙基本介绍:PA46,PA6T,PA9T,PA10T⾼温尼龙是指可以长期在150以上环境使⽤的尼龙材料,熔点⼀般在290~320,⼀般玻纤改性够热变形温度⼤于290。

并且在很宽的温度范围和⾼湿度环境下保持优异的机械性能。

⽬前成熟的⼯业化⾼温尼龙品种有PA46、PA6T、PA9T和PA10T,从⼴义上分类可以分为脂肪族尼龙、半芳⾹尼龙、全芳⾹尼龙和脂环族尼龙。

脂肪族尼龙 脂肪族尼龙 DSM PA46 PA46 由DSM独家⽣产和销售,牌号为 Stanyl ,是由丁⼆胺和⼰⼆酸缩聚⽽成的脂肪族聚酰胺,其中DSM 是全球唯⼀的丁⼆胺原料⼯业化⽅案,PA46 化学结构式如下: 虽然 PA46 的分⼦结构与PA66的相似,但 PA46 的每个给定长度的链上的酰胺组数更多,链结构更对称;熔点更⾼(295),热变形温度也⽽⾼度对称的链结构致使其结晶度⾼(约为70%),⽽且结晶速度快,因⽽熔点更⾼(⾼,⽽长期使⽤温度可达163。

这些特性使 PA46 ⽐其它⼯程塑料如PA6、PA66和聚酯在耐热、⾼温下的机械强度、耐磨等⽅⾯具有技术优势,并且成型周期短,加⼯更经济。

DSM的 PA46 已⽤于全球2亿多辆汽车的执⾏器中,如电⼦节⽓门控制(ETC)执⾏器、废⽓再循环系统(EGR)、涡轮、通⽤执⾏器(GPA)执⾏器和可变进⽓系统等等 半芳⾹尼龙 PPA 半芳⾹尼龙 PPA是⼀种通过含苯环的⼆元酸(⼀般是对苯⼆甲酸)和脂肪族⼆胺发⽣缩聚作⽤⽽制成的半芳⾹族聚酰胺,主要品种有 PA4T、PA6T共聚物、PA 9T、PA10T、PA11T、PA12T等等。

其中PA6T共聚物最为常见,其次是PA9T 和 PA10T 。

1. PA6T共聚物 纯PA6T的熔点在370,已经⾼于⼀般尼龙的分解温度(350),因此纯的PA6T必需与其他尼龙共聚后,将将熔点降到⼀般的加⼯温度(320),⽅能在⼯业上应⽤于注射成型。

常见的共聚组合有6T/6I、6T/66、6T/6I/66、6T/DT、6T/6等等,有资料将杜邦HTN划分为单独的⼀类⾼温尼龙,但其实51G、52G和54G是属于6T共聚物,只有53G因苯环含量较少,杜邦把它归为⾼性能尼龙。

Grivory HT3The durable high-performance polyamideThe next generation of polyphthalamide Grivory HT3 is a new product line in the polyphthala-mide (PPA) product range of EMS-GRIVORY. Its special polymer structure allows a completely new performance spectrum, unique in this material group, to be achie-ved.Grivory HT3 stands out due to its very low moisture uptake, which allows components with very high di-mensional stability to be manufactured. In addition, this new polymer is extremely resistant to hydrolysis and can be used for applications involving direct contact with water.The unique property profile of Grivory HT3 opens up unimagined possibilities for highly technical applications in the fi elds of automotive construction, electro and elec-tronics as well as industry and consumer goods. In addition, specially modifi ed Grivory HT3 grades provi-de optimal fl ame protection (UL 94 V0) without addition of halogens or red phosphorus (WEEE and RoHS com-patibility).The low water absorption and dimensional stability of Grivory HT3 also play an important role in electro and electronics and it is approved for lead-free refl ow solde-ring as per JEDEC Class 1. This means that no protection against ambient moisture is needed and production of precision components with narrow manufacturing tole-rances is possible. Due to its mechanical properties such as elongation at break and excellent impact strength, Grivory HT3 is predestined for the manufacture of com-ponents for different electronic applications. Specifi cally developed grades with maximum refl ection, even at high temperatures, make Grivory HT3 suitable for production of LED‘s (Light Emitting Diodes).AutomotiveThe Grivory product range sets standards in the fi eld of metal replacement for applications in automotive construction. Even highly stressed components can be light-weight and economically manufactured. Lower weight means lower fuel consumption. The property profi le of Grivory HT3 is particularly well suited to appli-cations in automotive construction. Grivory HT3 starts off where other plastic materials reach their limits.The low water absorption and good dimensional sta-bility allow manufacture of high-precision components - even for high working temperatures. Thanks to its excellent permeation properties and strength, Grivory HT3 also enables the manufacture of construction components in under-bonnet applications or connectors and connection elements for use in contact with fuel.Industry and consumer goods Array The spectrum for polyamide applications in industrial and consumer goods markets is extremely wide. For some time now, special polyamides have provided op-timum solutions in these fi elds. Grivory HT3 is an ide-al supplement to the Grivory product range and opens up previously unimagined opportunities.Grivory HT3 enables the manufacture of extremely resilient components in the fields of sanitary fittings, heating and climate control or household appliances. Due to its good resistance to hydrolysis, Grivory HT3 performs extremely well where high temperatures and direct contact with water are involved. Product appro-vals for direct contact with foodstuffs (EU, FDA, NSF 51) and drinking water (KTW, W270, ACS, WRAS, NSF 61) are absolutely necessary for this kind of ap-plication.Replacement of die-cast alloys or even thermoset ma-terials with Grivory HT3 is extremely interesting, parti-cularly construction, furniture and tool-making as well as in mechanical engineering or sport and leisure-time activities. The high-precision components often require high dimensional stability without loss of performance with regard to design and colour. Due to its optimal processability, use of Grivory HT3 also allows addi-tional integration of function and resulting savings on part costs.In the fi eld of medicine, possible applications for Gri-vory HT3 are strong and stiff operating instruments which can be sterilised, as well as data communica-tion and diagnosis machines with high chemical resi-stance.
