体育外语翻译的发展现状及原因分析

- 240-校园英语 / 翻译研究体育外语翻译的发展现状及原因分析石家庄工程职业学院基础部/戴芳【摘要】随着2008年夏季奥运会的圆满举行及2022年冬奥会的成功申办，越来越多的大型体育比赛在我国举办。

国际化的体育交流与合作需要体育翻译作为桥梁，因此，体育外语作为一门新兴的专业而出现，体育翻译专业化和人才培养产业化是未来体育翻译发展要实现的重要目标。

本文通过对体育翻译发展现状的分析及导致这些现状的原因，探讨体育翻译的发展方向。

【关键词】体育翻译体育英语一、体育外语翻译现状1.体育翻译的形式。

基于体育赛事的特殊性，体育外语翻译主要由笔译、口译和场馆语言服务组成。

赛前秩序册、官员及运动员的演讲稿的翻译主要由笔译人员来完成，口译负责的是赛事重要参与者的陪同翻译，而场馆语言服务是在比赛时在运动场地进行专业的语言服务。

要求翻译人员不仅要有良好的双语文化功底，还必须拥有大量的体育项目和体育管理方面的专业知识。

能够精准地表达出各种专业术语及句子的意思。

2.体育翻译人才的培养。

每逢我国举办重大国际赛事都需要大量的陪同翻译、场地翻译、训练翻译及赛事报道翻译。

主要由组委会下属的语言服务部门和高校外语院系招募的志愿者承担。

这样数量上基本能够满足，这些人员往往语言能力出众，但是缺少对体育知识及规则的深入了解，不可避免地在翻译中出现一些不应该的错误。

因此，体育外语专业翻译人才的缺乏已经影响我国体育事业的发展。

因此，自2002年成都体育学院开设体育英语以来，相继有上海体育学院、北京体育大学、河北体育学院等11所体育院校开设了体育英语专业或英语专业体育英语方向。

但随着我国体育事业的蓬勃发展，这些院校每年不到千人的毕业生已经远远不能满足需求了。

并且在发展的过程中还存在很多的问题，如：(1)师资力量不够雄厚，且缺少同时精通体育和英语的人才。

尽管经过了十余年的发展，如今体育翻译专业的师资仍多为语言专业教师，教授体育翻译始终不够专业。

由于同声传译比即席传译更加容易学习和掌握（这点恐怕同很多人的想象相反），所以，作为初学者，在掌握即席传译技术以前，最好先搞一段时间的同声传译工作。

也就是说，应该先到只使用同声传译的会议上去工作。

但是，在实际工作中，这种只使用同声传译的会议是很少的。

由于工作需要，绝大多数会议总免不了要建立若干个委员会、工作组、起草组等附属机构。

这些机构往往在没有同声传译设备的小会议室里开会，这就需要进行即席传译了。

遇到这种情况，所有搞同声传译工作的译员，都可能被抽调到这些附属机构中去担任即席传译工作。

如果某些人做不到这一点，那么他们的那份工作就要不合理地落到他们的同事身上，给别人增加负担。

英语知识言语不同的人进行沟通和交流，除通过翻译过的书面资料之外，传布时沟通思想更为普遍。

此时，需要口译。

所谓口译，就是通过口头形式、用目标语言表达源语言的思想。

由于是面对面的直接交流，口译工作有着其自身的特点。

首先，译员往往从事双向翻译，用两种语言交叉进行翻译。

其次，口译获取源语言中的思想并将其用目标语言表达出来的时间间隔很短，译员需在讲话人发言结束后，立即用目标语言将其思想表达出来。

在大多数情况下，译员几乎没有时间进行思索推敲，更没有可能查阅工具书或向专家求教。

不过，在理解讲话人的思想方面，口译人员也有一定的优势，可借助语气、手势、表情等。

第三，口译所使用的语言相对口语话，简洁易懂，符合口头表达的习惯，或者是尽可能地贴近讲话的风格。

（一）口译的种类从口译的工作方式看，口译可以分为两大类：交替翻译（consecutive interpretation）和同声传译（simultaneous interpretation）。
