The Intensive Improvement process involves four steps . It starts with one of the clients’facilities writing a complaint against a supplier for a quality

performance issue. The corrective action process can escalate from a

written corrective action to certified stock, or controlled shipping, to one of the intensive improvement disciplines

PAC Definition/PAC 定义定义:

:Proactive Containment by the Service Provider/第三方服务商前期遏制Purpose/目的目的::

-performing a controlled shipping level at the suppliers’plants before products’

shipment in order to ensure conformity of selected characteristics

在产品发运之前,为了确保产品特性的符合性,在供应商工厂执行的受控发运。

-having quick solutions and resources in order to prevent that defective products have been delivered to Client’s plants

快速解决和决策以防止缺陷产品流入到客户工厂

-preventing Client’s manufacturing processes from lines stoppage or reduction of production capacity due to high percentage of non-conformities of the products occurred

Scope/范围:

The Third Party Proactive Containment (PAC) shall be applied to all suppliers in all cases listed below: PAC适合于下列情况的所有供应商:

In any case of introduction of a new products or new applications

在新产品或新应用导入的任何情况下:

-New Suppliers;新供应商

-New Product Lunching;新产品投产

-New Design Changing 新的设计变更

量产前新产品不良遏制

When need PAC/什么时候需要PAC

-The PAC procedure shall be applied for all “PPAP level 5”[as defined in the client procedure] components, when: after PPAP before mass production

在PPAP之后,规模生产之前,所有PPAP5(按客户程序定义)提交的零件均可以申请PAC程序

-ALWAYS in Pilot phase for new applications (engines/transmissions/ exterior/ interior/chasis)

常常在产品导入的试验阶段(发动机/ 变速箱/外饰/内饰/底盘)

-ALWAYS in SOP of a new product or new supplier or new facility or significant modification on a critical product.

常常在新产品、新供应商、新设备或关键产品,重大变更SOP阶段。

-Current production for important modifications of the products.
