班中仍存在着部分学生对这门课充满了疑虑，不敢勇敢地面对困难，对英语学习也失去了信心。
又由于学生基础不同造成教学时的较大困难。
我想通过一些班级中的尖子生的带头作用，能让更多的学生提高学习的主动性，能知难而进。
我也希望通过师生双方的努力，在接下去一个学期中，第一个同学都能取得更大的进步。
二、教材分析：本教材难易度合理，过渡平和，主要采用的是全身反应教学法，让学生在不同的学习活动中感知并运用英语。
本教材分为六个单元，其中包括两个复习单元。
《义务教育课程标准实验教科书》五年级上册，供以小学三年级为起始点开设英语的学校第三年度第一学期使用。
教材的设计体现了“以人为本”的教育思想，形式多样活泼，很符合该年龄阶段的儿童。

学生记单词的习惯不好， 有的女同学甚至在我叫过几次不会之后在叫还是不会， 对英 语学习不够重视。 对此我要策划一些激发学生记单词热情的活动， 如记单词比赛。 五 年级较三年级而言还是比较有组织的， 学生已养成了一定的学习习惯， 上课比较好组 织，但有个别同学总是进入不了状态，心猿意马，老师领读不读，老师讲课也不注意 听。 课时容量较大， 有很多课标要求学生已经掌握的东西或是在 3,4 年级已经学过的东西 学生还是不会， 所以课堂内容很难进行完。 故有时课堂上只能进行一半， 故后期的进 度安排可能会很紧张。

活动三：猜猜，读读教学参考时间：5分钟教师出示表示四个季节的图片，让孩子说说分别是哪个季节。
孩子说对后教师板书单词：spring，summer，fall，winter。
教师范读，学生跟读，学生开火车读。
活动四：说一说(Let’s learn)教学参考时间：5分钟教师再次展示表示四个季节的图片，询问学生What’s your favourite season 学生根据实际情况回答，并进一步陈述原因“Spring, it’s warm and sunny.”接着教师板书主句型，指导学生认读。
最后教师播放配套课件，学生观看，跟读句子。
教师注意强调favourite的读音，并进行小组问答练习。
