精子线粒体决定了生育力吗?

背景

线粒体膜电位(MMP) 是反映线粒体能量状态的指标。研究表明,降低人体MMP 值会导致人精子活力和生育能力下降。这项研究用MMP 来评估精子线粒体的完整性,以确定MMP 的基本情况是否与精子活力的不同程度有关。

∙意大利罗马大学精液学实验室收集了213 名年龄为25-38 岁男性的精液样本;进行了精液检查、精子活力检测和MMP 流式细胞分析。

∙根据活力情况将样本分为两组:A 组包含185 例具有线性活力的样本,根据活力的递增将这些样品分为13 个层级;B 组包含28 例具有非线性活力的样本,分为 5 个层级。

∙ A 组和B 组的MMP 测量值没有显著的差异(A 组FL2 平均值:46.2;

B 组:48.3)。

∙ A 组中,随着活动精子百分比的增加,MMP 值升高。

∙同样,在 B 组中可以观察到,MMP 与递增的非线性活力呈正相关关系。∙这项研究首次明确了与活动精子的不同等级相关的MMP 情况,并且首次评估了具有非线性活力的精子的MMP。
