我的家乡在四川达州，达州是一座美丽的城市。

它位于四川东北部，这里山川秀丽，景色宜人。

有“中国竹乡”的美称，还有“中国三大气田”之一——宣汉气田。

这里有许多名胜古迹：有闻名全国的达州城、有古战场——长平古战场、还有驰名中外的三国文化遗迹——万县汉阙……我爱我的家乡，我爱它的山、水、人和文化。

达州城不大，却很美丽。

从市中心出发，沿着城中大街往东走，就到了一座大桥。

这座桥叫达城大桥，是达州城最美的桥了。

它是由钢筋混凝土浇筑而成，造型美观大方，雄伟壮观。

到了夜晚，这座桥会亮起五颜六色的灯光，好像一条七彩的长河。

特别是在雨后的夜晚，彩虹出现在天空中。

桥上的灯也跟着闪动起来，美丽极了！
达城还有很多名胜古迹：有风景秀丽的凤鸣山、有气势宏伟的古战场……其中最让我着迷的就是古战场——长平古战场了。

长平古战场是战国时期赵国名将赵括指挥作战的地方。

• 明月山为川东平行褶皱岭谷区的第三条山脉，北起开江县，呈东北至西南走向，跨达州、梁平、大竹、邻水、垫江、长寿、渝北区等县区，止于巴南区永兴场。全长 232公里，宽4公里～6公里，一般海拔700 米～1000米。因长江横切渝北区与巴南区之间的山岭，形成峡谷。峡岸峭壁上“有圆孔如满月状”，故称明月峡，山以峡为名。

• 达州市现辖通川区、达县、宣汉、开江、大竹、渠县5个县和代管万源市，全区幅员面积1.6万平方公里，全区属亚热带季风气候，地形雄奇逶迤。达州人民早在“川陕革命根据地”时期，即为中国革命作出过无私奉献，徐向前、李先念、王维舟等老一辈无产阶级革命家在这块赤色土地上留下的动人事迹，至今碑于众口。新中国成立后，老区人民发扬红军精神，艰苦创业，使具有光荣历史的达州形成了自己的经济优势和独特的文化风情。
