在第四单元Li Ming Comes Home安排的故事“ Danny’s Surprise Cake”是对本单元词汇的复习,涉及本单元所学的词汇party, cake, every,begin等,故事内容较长。

(二)教学对象分析本课的教学对象是六年级的学生,他们已经学习了三年多的英语,但学生英语水平不一,有学习积极性高,接受知识快,表现欲望强,富有想象力和创造力的但也存在一部分基础较弱的,而复述故事对学生来讲是有挑战性的,如何在学生已有基础上让他们得到不同层次的提高,所以我把教学重点放到了看图预测、读文验证、提炼故事梗概、简单复述上。

2011版英语课标中在语言技能“说”中要求学生能在教师帮助下讲述简单的小故事,所以在这节课中我给出图片和简单句式,或单词,引导学生复述也分层要求,降低学习的难度。

让他们把故事当中的语言简化,然后根据自己的理解把这个故事讲出来。
