使用H模式（水平分量模式），可以快速直观的显示使用者所需要的关键的角度补偿范围信息。
使用L模式（视线模式）测量和扫描功能可以显示直线距离，这个距离单位可以在公制单位米和英制单位码之间切换。

激光测距仪在工作时向目标射出一束很细的激光，由光电元件接收目标反射的激光束，计时器测定激光束从发射到接收的时间，计算出从观测者到目标的距离。
激光测距仪重量轻、体积小、操作简单速度快而准确，其误差仅为其它光学测距仪的五分之一到数百分之一。
一．激光测距仪基本原理激光测距仪一般采用两种方式来测量距离：脉冲法和相位法。
脉冲法测距的过程是这样的：测距仪发射出的激光经被测量物体的反射后又被测距仪接收，测距仪同时记录激光往返的时间。
光速和往返时间的乘积的一半，就是测距仪和被测量物体之间的距离。
脉冲法测量距离的精度是一般是在+/- 1米左右。
另外，此类测距仪的测量盲区一般是15米左右。

另外还有一些国内的品牌，国内小品牌建议不要选择，因为主要是在测量精度上与国外品牌有比较大的差距，虽然从参数指标上看是一样的。
对于徕卡，博世，喜利得这三个品牌，我个人觉得三个品牌的质量都很好，在品牌上其实购买时，不需要有偏好。
主要看价格和功能。
从销售价格来看，博世的性价比会相对较高，徕卡次之，喜利得价格比较高。
但是由于手持测距仪的功能比较多，首先要选择好功能，然后在看价格。
所有手持激光测距仪的品牌选择总之比较简单。
LECIA徕卡徕卡在测量测绘领域拥有非常高的美誉度，主要以生产高精度短距离的手持测距仪为主，在手持测距仪领域占有非常的市场份额，一直是全球手持测距仪的销量冠军，近2年其在手持测距仪领域的领导地位受到了德国博世BOSCH的强烈冲击，在很多区域市场博世BOSCH已经超越LECIA徕卡成为第一品牌。
BOSCH博世博世在测量仪器领域也具有非常高的知名度，在很多产品上其超过徕卡。
