Unit8 Spring is warm and nice

Step 1Warming up

1. Greetints.

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Zhou !

T: How are you?

Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And you?

T: I’m fine, too. Thank you. How is the weather?

Ss: It’s rainy/windy/snowy/sunny/cloudy.

T: OK! Let’s have a chant.

2. Have a chant.(CAI课件)

Rainy, rainy, rainy is warm.

Sunny, sunny, sunny is hot.

Windy, windy, windy is cool.

Snowy, snowy, Snowy is cold.

Step 2Presentation and drill

1. Lead-in.

T: Look at the screen, look and listen, please guess“What’s the weather like?”

(CAI Show some pictures and voice, let the students guess the weather.)

2. New words teaching.

T: ( CAI :spring ) Look! It’s spring!

Write the new words on the blackboard, then, teach how to pronounce it.

(用同样的方法教授单词: summer、autumn、winter、 )

3. Practice the new words.

1> Quick response.

a. 教师先拿卡片带读单词

b. 学生分组开火车读单词。

c. 教师右手拿卡片读单词,学生跟读;左手拿卡片读单词,学生不跟读。

2> Translation

教师讲中文,学生用英语回答。

3> Read the new words.

看屏幕跟读新单词。

4> Sentence teaching.

(CAI显示句型,引导学生跟读)

I like spring.Spring is warm and nice.

I don’t like summer.Summer is hot.

I like autumn.Autumn is cool and nice.

I don’t like winter.Winter is cold. 学生自由练习

T: I like spring. Spring is warm and nice. What about you? 学生回答

4.Have a chant.

Spring is warm.Spring is nice.Spring is warm and nice.

Summer is hot.Summer is hot.It’s hot in summer.

Autumn is cool.Autumn is nice.Autumn is cool and nice.

Winter is cold.Winter is cold. It’s cold in winter。

Step 3Practice

1. Look at the screen, listen and read the text.(CAI显示,跟读课文)

2. Open the books, read it after the teacher.

3. Let’s play a guessing game——What season is it?

看屏幕,学生根据所提供的单词猜出是什么季

节。

Step 4Consolidation

1.学生分组练习,用动作来表演一个季节。

2.分组上台表演,其他学生来猜测。

3.反馈正确答案。
