第一节：短文改错（共10小题；每小题1分，满分10分）
下面短文中有10处语言错误。
请在有错误的地方增加、删除或修改某个单词。
增加：在缺词处加一个漏字符号（∧），并在其下面写上该加的词。
删除：把多余的词用斜线（\）划掉。
修改：在错的词下划一横线，并在该词下面写上修改后的词。
注意：1.每处错误及其修改均仅限一词；
One rainy day while I was walking home with one of my friend, a truck came to a stop besides us. The driver put the window down and offered us a umbrella because he found we were wet through. I stood there and couldn’t believe in that a complete stranger is so thoughtful. The man insisted, so I grateful accepted the offer, thanked him and watched the truck disappear down the road. This man might need the umbrella himself , and he preferred to give it to everyone else.It was a lesson to us that it was possible∧give without expect anything in retum.
1. 把friend改为friends。
在one of 之后应该使用名词复数形式。
1. 把besides改为beside。
两个虽然都是介词，但意思不同，besides是“除……之外”而beside 则是“在……旁边”。
2. 把a改为an。
umbrella是一个以元音因素，所以应该用an。
3. 把in删去。
believe后跟从句时，不用介词in。
4. 把is改为was。
时态前后不一致。
主句是过去时态，对应也应该用一般过去时态。
5. 把grateful改为gratefully。
修饰动词accepted应该用副词。
6. 把and改为but。
前后两句之间表示转折。
7. 把everyone改为someone。
该句表示“某个人，而非”人人“。
8. 在possible和give之间添to。
动词不定式形式作主语。
9. 把expect改为excpecting。
在介词之后应该用动名词。
