北京中国科学院大学考博英语作文范文【二篇】

北京中国科学院大学考博英语作文范文【二篇】【篇一】Directions: Write an essay no less than 200 words on the topic given below. Use the proper space on your Answer Sheet. IC: “To get success, you need friends; to get huge success, you need enemies.” Do you agree with this saying or not? Why or why not?【参考范文】To get success, you need friends; to get huge success, you need enemies. As for the above statement, I do not agree that we need friends to get success while do agree that we need enemies to get huge success. The following are the reasons. With the development of economy and society, the world we live is colorful and complicated. We can not achieve a success unless we cooperation, we also get aids and concern from every direction. Friendship, that is, is crucial for us to have a success. Friends can have a positive effect upon our development. Our friends encourage us, share our anxiety and provide us with help when we are in trouble. Friends may give us advice and suggest us what should be done and what not be done. However, if we wish to have a glorious achievement, in my personal sense, we do require enemies, my reasons for this topic are as follows. To begin with, our enemies reveal our fatal shortcomings, we can become stronger and more capable by giving up these flaws. What is more, the crises come from our enemies wake us keep the consciousnessof competition, we can do every efforts to complete what we ought to do. Last but not least, we can feel the stress from our opponents; the pressure probably is converted to the dynamic that give us sustainable power to enhance ourselves. To sum up, we need enemies to achieve our ambition, they supply us vigorous power to make our dream come true.译文:要成功,你需要朋友;要获得巨大的成功,你需要敌人。

Traffic jam is now a major problem in most cities. However, it seems that people are not prepared to give up their cars and use other forms of transport. Discuss the reasons for the situation and suggest how it might be improved or resolved. With the substantial development of social economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, the number of private cars has been increasing dramatically. However, the problem of traffic jam in many cities is disregarded while people enjoy the convenience of the cars.(With the increasingly rapid economy, more problems are brought to our attention. Traffic jam is one of these problems, which in many cities is disregarded while people enjoy the convenience of the cars.)The problem of traffic jam in cities can be shown in the following aspects. First of all, people are often delayed one or two hours by the traffic jam, and a lot of time has to be wasted on the city roads. What’s more, the large quantity of harmful gas produced during the traffic jams damages the city environment seriously and has negative influence on people’s health. Even so, people are not likely to give up theircars and use other forms of transport. The reason is not only that the cars enable people fully enjoy the freedom of life, and go anywhere they want to go, but also that the cars symbolize the wealth and status of the owners.Based on what has been discussed so far,it follows that some solutions should be found to put an end to the problem of traffic jam in many cities. To begin with, public transport should be improved in order to provide citizens with better services so that they are willing to use their cars less frequently. Another way is to introduce relevant policies and laws to restrict car use, such as time restrictions, road limitations and the raising of oil price etc. Only through these ways can we get out of this dilemma effectively and successfully.欢迎下载,资料仅供参考!!!。

中科院考博英语 培训资料(作文范文)车的利弊

中科院考博英语培训资料(作文范文)车的利弊Advantages and disadvantages of owning a private canSample 1With the fantastic spur both in industry and in economy in China, the number of people who own private cars is on the rise. Some people have bought cars of their own, and others are planning to buy cars. But there have been two quite different views on this phenomenon. Some claim that there are many advantages brought about by cars.To begin with, the automobile industry provides jobs for countless workers and strong support for other industries. Then, if conditions permit, owning a car can make us work more efficiently. Finally, life will become more convenient. A car allows one to move freely and with a car there is no need to wait for the bus in the cold or under the burning sun. However, others strongly object to the increase in developing private cars. They hold that automobiles will give rise to a series of problems. In the first place, as more and more cars are produced and run in the street, a large volume of poisonous gas will be given off, polluting theatmosphere and causing actual harm to the health of people. Next, private cars contribute to traffic congestion so greatly that the advantages gained in comfort and freedom is often cancelled out by the frustration caused by traffic jams. The last problem is the increasing number of car accidents that have killed a lot of people ina friction of a second. In my opinion, although automobiles have been playing a vital part in the daily activities of our society, they also bring us numerous troubles such as more serious environmental pollution, more traffic accidents and more energy consumption. They drink up huge amounts of fuel and throw out huge amounts of pollutants. Traffic accidents kill thousands and thousands of people each year. Therefore I am against developing private cars.Sample 2Advantages:1) Having a car of your own means no more traveling to work oncrowded buses or subway, and you can drop off the children at school on the way.2) It also means that you can enjoy the weekends and holidaysbetter, because with a car you can go to places where theregular buses and trains do not go, and so you can find a quiet scenic spot with no crowds.Disadvantages:1) The roads are becoming more and more crowded, often making the journey to work more of a nightmare than a dream. 2) It is not cheap to run a car, as the prices of gasoline and repairs are constantly rising, not to mention the price you have to pay for your car insurance. Conclusion:The advantages of owning a car outweigh the disadvantages. Therefore, it seems to me that China should increase its output of automobiles and enlarge the private car market. The result would be that cars would become cheaper, while at the same time the extra demand would encourage the auto industry to produce more efficient vehicles.。

2008年中科院英语试题

2008中科院英语翻译全文(15分)One of the most difficult situations that a researcher can encounter is to see or suspect that a colleague has violated the ethical standards of the research community. It is easy to find excuses to do nothing, but someone who has witnessed misconduct has an unmistakable obligation to act. At the most immediate level, misconduct can seriously obstruct or damage one's own research or the research of colleagues.(1)More broadly, even a single case of misconduct can malign scientists and their institutions, result in the imposition of counterproductive regulations, and shake public confidence in the integrity of science. To be sure, raising a concern about unethical conduct is rarely an easy thing to do. In some cases, anonymity is possible-but not always. Reprisals by the accused person and by skeptical colleagues have occurred in the past and have had serious consequences. Any allegation of misconduct is a very important charge that needs to be taken seriously.(2)If mishandled, an allegation can gravely damage the person charged, the one who makes the charge, the institutions involved, and science in general.Someone who is confronting a problem involving research ethics usually has more options than are immediately apparent. (3)In most cases the best thing to do is to discuss the situation with a trusted friend or advisor. In universities, faculty advisors, department chairs, and other senior faculty can be invaluable sources of advice in deciding whether to go forward with a complaint. An important consideration is deciding when to put a complaint in writing. Once in writing, universities are obligated to deal with a complaint in a more formal manner than if it is made verbally. (4)Putting a complaint in writing can have serious consequences for the career of a scientist and should be undertaken only after thorough consideration. The National Science Foundation and Public Health Service require all research institutions that receive public funds to have procedures in place to deal with allegations of unethical practice.(5)These procedures take into account fairness for the accused, protection for the accuser, coordination with funding agencies, and requirements for confidentiality and disclosure. In addition, many universities and other research institutions have designated an ombudsman, ethics officer, or other official who is available to discuss situations involving research ethics. Such discussions are carried out in strictest confidence whenever possible. Some institutions provide for multiple entry points, so that complainants can go to a person with whom they feel comfortable.研究人员可能遇到的一种最困难的处境是,看到或怀疑一个同事,违背了研究集体的道德标准。

范文:With the rapid development of society, more and more people in China can afford to buy a car.As a consequence, traffic accidents gradually become a serious problem and bring great inconveniences to people. In my opinion, this problem can be solved from three aspects.Firstly, our government should take drastic measures and enforce a series of effective traffic rules, which must be well acknowledged and understood by every person. Those who do not obey the rules will be punished according to the actual situation.Secondly, the Ministry of Communications should make every effort to better the poor traffic environment. We need traffic police to be responsible for their job. If our policemen can be committed to what they are doing, the traffic condition will surely be improved.Thirdly, every member of the society should realize the seriousness of traffic accidents, which not only bring mischief to the drivers themselves, but also lead their families into bitterness. As drivers, they should not drink alcohol before driving. As walkers, they should not cross the street when red light is still on.In a word, it is the task of the whole society to solve the traffic accidents. I believe the traffic accidents will be reduced through the endeavor of everyone, and our society will have a nice traffic order and environment. 中科院博士入学考试英语真题

中科院博士入学考试英语真题

中科院博士入学考试英语真题Text D Family MattersThis month Singapore passed a bill that would give legal teeth to the moral obligation to support one's parents. Called the Maintenance of Parents Bill, it received the backing of the Singapore Government. That does not mean it hasn't generated discussion. Several members of the Parliament opposed the measure as un-Asian. Others who acknowledged the problem o f the elderly poor believed it a disproportionate response. Still others believe it will subvert relations within the family: cynics dubbed it the "Sue Your Son" law. Those who say that the bill does not promote filial responsibility, of course, are right. It has nothing to do with filial responsibility. It kicks in where filial responsibility fails. The law cannot legislate filial responsibility any more than it can legislate love. All the law can do is to provide a safety net where this morality proves insufficient. Singapore needs this bill not to replace morality, but to provide incentives to shore it up.Like many other developed nations, Singapore faces the problems of an increasing proportion of people over 60 years of age.Demography is inexorable. In 19 80, 7.2% of the population was in this bracket. By the end of the century that figure will grow to 11%. By 2030, the proportion is projected to be 26%. The problem is not old age per se. It is that the ratio of economically active people to economically inactive people that will decline. But no amount of government exhortation or paternalism will completely eliminate the problem of old people who have insufficient means to make ends meet. Some people will fall through the holes in any safety net.Traditionally, a person's insurance against poverty in his old age was his family, lifts is not a revolutionary concept. Nor is it uniquely Asian. Care an d support for one's parents is a universal value shared by all civilized societies. The problem in Singapore is that the moral obligation to look after one's parents is unenforceable. A father can be compelled by law to maintain his children. A husband can be forced to support his wife. But, until now, a son or daughter had no legal obligation to support his or her parents.1989, an Advisory Council was set up to look into the problems of the aged. Its report stated with a tinge of complacency that 95% of those who did not have their own income were receiving cash contributions from relations. But what about the 5% who aren't getting relatives' support? They have several options: (a) get a job and work until they die; (b) apply for public assistance(you have to be destitute to apply); or(c) starve quietly. None of these options is socially acceptable. And what if this 5% figure grows, as it is likely to do, as society ages? The Maintenance of Parents Bill was put forth to encourage the traditional virtues that have so far kept Asian nations from some of the breakdowns encountered in other affluent societies. This legislation will allow a person to apply t o the court for maintenance from any or all of his children. The court would have the discretion to refuse to make an order if it is unjust. Those who deride the proposal for opening up the courts to family lawsuits miss the point. Only in extreme caseswould any parent take his child to court. If it does indeed become law, the bill's effect would be far more subtle.First, it will reaffirm the notion that it is each individual's - not society's - responsibility to look after his parents. Singapore is still conservative enough that most people will not object to this idea. It reinforces the traditional values and it doesn't hurt a society now and then to remind itself of its core values.Second, and more important, it will make those who are inclined to shirk their responsibilities think twice. Until now, if a person asked family elders, clergymen or the Ministry of Community Development to help get financial support from his children, the most they could do was to mediate. But mediators have no teeth, and a child could simply ignore their pleas. But to be sued by one's parents would be a massive loss of face. It would be a public disgrace. Few people would be so thick-skinned as to say, "Sue and be damned". The hand of the conciliator would be immeasurably strengthened. It is far more likely that some sort of amicable settlement would be reached if the recalcitrant son or daughter knows that the alternative is a public trial. It would be nice to think Singapore doesn't need this kind of law. But that belief ignores the clear demographic trends and the effect of affluence itself on traditional bends. Those of us who pushed for the bill will consider ourselves most successful if it acts as an incentive not to have it invoked in the first place.78. The Maintenance of Parents BillA. received unanimous support in the Singapore ParliamentB. was believed to solve all the problems of the elderly poorC. was intended to substitute for traditional values in SingaporeD. was passed to make the young more responsible to the old79. By quoting the growing percentage points of the aged in the population, the author seems to imply that __A. the country will face mounting problems of the old in futureB. the social welfare system would be under great pressureC. young people should be given more moral educationD. the old should be provided with means of livelihood80. Which of the following statements is CORRECT?A. Filial responsibility in Singapore is enforced by law.B. Fathers have legal obligations to look after their children.C. It is an acceptable practice for the old to continue working.D. The Advisory Council was dissatisfied with the problems of the old。

中科院考博英语 培训资料(作文范文) 高科技的利弊

中科院考博英语 培训资料(作文范文) 高科技的利弊

中科院考博英语培训资料(作文范文)高科技的利弊The value of science and technologySample 1It has been widely noted that, with the growing use of computers and calculators both in the classroom and in the home, the level of literacy and mathematical ability of students is dropping. This raises serious doubts about the value of the progress of science and technology. Here I will discuss the pros and cons of this question.First of all, advances in science and technology have certainly brought about many benefits for mankind. They have made our lives more comfortable and healthier. In addition, they have eased the burden of work for most people and provided them with more leisure opportunities, while at the same time increasing productivity dramatically.Nevertheless, it can not be denied that technology has some negative effects (side-effects). As mentioned above, with computers which check spelling, grammar and calculation for them, students have little motive to learn how to do thesethings for themselves. Also, the availability of TV programs and videos encourages an unhealthy, sedentary lifestyle.Another aspect of this issue is that technology may be good or bad, depending on how we use it. For instance, dynamite may be used to make road construction easier, or it may be used to kill people. Again, nuclear reactors can supply huge amounts of cheap electricity, but if they are carelessly handled they can cause devastating pollution. We can conclude that the progress of science and technology has both positive and negative effects. What we must do is to make sure that the positive ones are encouraged and the negative ones are eliminated as far as possible.Sample 2 (Science and Human Life)Advantages:Science and technology have been bringing human beings tremendous benefits. Thanks to science and technology, we now live comfortably and conveniently in houses furnishedwith(供给)air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and televisions etc. Thanks to science and technology, we can eat fresh vegetables all the year round. Thanks to science and technology, we can travel long distance in the fraction of a second on planes, trains and cars.Disadvantages:However, science and technology have also brought us a lot of disasters. First, because of the many breakthroughs in the field of medicine, people are now living much longer than they used to. As a result, the population of the world is increasing, causing lots of problems. Second, because of the development of industry, lots of the wastes from factories pour into the air and rivers, causing pollution of all kinds. Third, some terrorists are using science and technology against mankind. They use chemical and nuclear weapons to threaten world peace. Conclusion:So it is urgent that we find ways to solve these problems. We should make some rules to regulate our actions. But I do not think that we should stop the development of science andtechnology because of these disasters they bring, just as we should not give up eating for fear of choking. I do believe if we use science and technology in a proper way, they may bring us even more benefits.Sample 3Both of them:Light and lamps extend the daytime, putting more leisure at our disposal as well as stealing our precious resting hours. Trains and buses shorten the distance on land, but thousands of people are killed each year in traffic accidents. Drug and surgeon prolong the expectation of life; however, the abuse of medicine is also staggering. Computer and internet transform the earth to a village, meanwhile convenient accesses are offered to hackers. We are facing such a situation: a bitter fruit in one hand and a delicious one in the other, both from the tree of advanced technology.。

中科院考博英语培训资料(作文范文)全球变暖What should governments do to help prevent global warming? Give reasons for your suggestions. The earth’s temperature is rapidly changing. As a result there has been a lot of climate change such as heat waves, droughts or floods and earthquake. Scientists believe that this is the result of human activity, which is polluting the Earth’s atmosphere. This could become a disaster if governments do not act to help prevent global warming. They can act in three ways; by supporting research, by making laws and by keeping the general public informed.Firstly, governments can support research. For example, they should encourage companies to develop vehicles that cause less pollution. They should also support alternative sources of electricity from wind and water rather than from oil and coal. As well, they should sponsor conferences to discuss the effects of greenhouse gas emissions and possible solutions to the problem.Secondly, they should make laws that limit the amount of greenhouse gases that companies can emit. Private companies should be rewarded for following theselaws. They should also be punished for creating pollution. Finally, everybody is affected by global warming. Therefore, it is important that governments involve individuals in the problem solving process. For example they should encourage households to save as much energy as possible by using more efficient light bulbs or less hot water. They should also encourage the public to recycle, and this should be compulsory for everyone. Another way of saving energy is by public transport systems. Governments should spend money on public transport to make it as easy as possible for the public to save energy. In summary, it is clear that there are a lot of things that governments can do to prevent global warming. They should involve companies, support scientists and encourage individuals to protect the planet.。

What has caused this situation in your opinion?Nobel Prize, an international award given for achievements in various academic fields, has been a great honor to people from different countries. However, China, with the greatest population and a large number of research workers, has not produced a single Nobel Prize winner so far. In my opinion, various contributing factors can be identified as follows.First of all, though the educational system in China has fostered many researchers, it somehow hinders indivi duals’ creativity. Children are usually not valued by their unique way of thinking, but are encouraged to be obedient. Especially in the traditional cramming method of teaching, schools lay particular stress on memorization at the expense of comprehension, which has a very bad influence on students’ ability to solve difficult problems.Furthermore, for a long period in Chinese history, China had been isolated from the outside world. In ancient times, we were self-contained for self-pride, believing that China was at the center of the whole universe. In modem times, we were self-fettered for self-protection, afraid of the invasion of other countries. As a consequence, China has lagged behind in many fields including science development. Researchers in China have little idea about the research interests of their own areas. At the same time, discoveries by Chinese researchers cannot be made known to foreign countries. For instance, the clone technology was first explored by scientists from Chinese Academy of Sciences decades ago, but their research did not arouseinternational concern simply due to lack of communication.Fortunately, the situation mentioned above has been changing. Our educational system has improved a great deal and more and more opportunities to communicate with the external world have been offered. Therefore, I am sure that in the near future China will have one or more Nobel Prize winners. (298 words)2005年10月A卷英语作文题目What does work mean to you?Is it just a means to make ends meet, to cover life expenses? For many people, a job means a good salary which can make ends meet and cover life expenses. In my opinion, however, the meaning of work is more than a good salary. To me, the kind of job worthy of devotion means creation and contribution.Work means new creations to the society. As science and technology progress, computers and robots are used widely. We might sometimes doubt the necessity of our very existence. Yet creative jobs, such as teaching, writing, scientific research, and management, which require a lot wisdom and imagination or involve many understandings, will build up self-confidence in ourselves and help to push our civilization further. During the process of creation, our work will constantly provide us with challenges so that we can develop and improve ourselves.Work also means the contribution one can make which will lead our country to prosperity. I remember that the first time I came to Beijing, on the train I was shocked with some shabby huts, which were actually people’s dwelling places. Those huts kept flashing into my mind, reminding me of our duty to help people out of such a life. Therefore, work does not only mean something about one’s own life, but something about a bright future for our country and our people.People can gain enjoyment from creative and contributive work. If you do not enjoy your work, even if it brings you a very good salary, you are not really leading a happy and meaningful life (248 words)2005年10月B卷英语作文题目Is a job seeker’s previous work experience important?if so, in what sense and to what extent? If not, why not? There is no denying that in the job market those with rich previous work experience will often be preferred. Some argue that this trend is not fair or rational. In my opinion, however, previous work experience definitely counts for much for a job seeker. To begin with, an enterprise likes to have employees who can enter the working process immediately. Employees with enough experience will help a company, especially a small or private company, to operate properly as soon as possible. Usually, private companies are unwilling to invest large amount of money in training new employees, which they believe will waste time and energy.Furthermore, through several times of job-hoppings, people can make up their minds firmly and clearly about where exactly their passions and interests lie, which is very important for their future success. In their previous work experience, employees have already learned how to communicate and cooperate with their co-workers. Therefore, with adequate work experience, an employee can no doubt make himself familiar with his new place so as to get a promotion easily in his or her new job.Considering the aspects mentioned above, if I were a boss, I would choose a job seeker who has previous work experience. (203 words)PART Ⅵ WRITING (40 minutes, 15 points)Directions: Write an essay of no less than 200 words on the topic given below. Use the proper space on your Answer Sheet Ⅱ.2005年3月英语作文题目How to reduce traffic accidents? With the rapid development of society, more and more people in China can afford to buy a car. As a consequence, traffic accidents gradually become a serious problem and bring great inconveniences to people. (220 words)2004年10月英语作文题目Cheating on exams has been a tough problem to solve. What do you think the reasons for this problem are? State your opinion with solid support.“Have you ever cheated on exams?” Facing such an abrupt question, can you give an assertive answer that you have never desired or attempted to peek at others’ test paper?Cheating on exams has actually become a popularly concerned problemin China. It is now necessary for us to figure out the reasons behind the cheating behaviors. Our current educational system and testing method, which have remained unchanged for decades, might be one of the causes for students’ cheating behaviors. Students are not supposed to develop their independent thinking all through the process of education. If students cannot memorize their textbooks, they might either fail the exams or cheat on exams. Besides, the present tests have turned into fixed patterns, which can be convenient for students to duplicate the answers by looking at others’ paper. The current social environment somehow encourages cheating for it has become a widely held principle that “any means is acceptable so long as one can a chieve the goals”. People care nothing about how one makes success but will admire the celebrities, whose experiences are generally glorified after they become famous and rich. Honesty is not essential for judging a success. In conclusion, the phenomenon of cheating can only be stopped by the joint efforts of both the educational authorities and our whole society. (218 words)2004年3月英语作文题目Some people think that material wealth is a sign of success in China today. Do you agree or disagree? State your opinion and give good reasons. With the rapid development of our national economy, more and more people have become rich. They have luxurious cars and big houses. Some people believe this great possession of material wealth is a sign of success, while others strongly hold that wealth cannot be the only measure of success. In my opinion, whether a person is successful or not cannot be solely judged by his material wealth. It is true that many wealthy people are successful businessmen, but many other successful people are obviously not rich. Yand Liwei, the space hero,is a good example. He works hard and has brought great glory to our country, but still he draws a modest salary. Another example is the bus conductress Li Suli. She distinguishes herself for her eagerness to help the ordinary people and provide better service so that she has been honored as a national model worker. No doubt, working as a bus conductress, she could never compare with those business people in material wealth.Measuring success by wealth alone will make people neglect the spiritual side of life. If one's only goal in life is to become rich, doing nothing like serving other or making any worthwhile achievements to the society, then he certainly cannot be regarded as successful. In the public eye, those who spend their lives only striving for bigger house, expensive clothing and entertainment are the biggest losers of all.In conclusion, making money is indicative of success, but it doesn't mean to be the only way to success. The most important thing to achieve succes is to work hard and make contributions to our society.2003年10月英语作文题目My Idea of professional Ethics for a Scientist. There is no denying that a distinguished scientist should not only be learned and creative but also have good professional ethics for the good of both society and the scientist himself. But what are good professional ethics for a scientist? In my opinion, a scientist should possess the following qualities. First of all, an eminent scientist should make sure that his knowledge is used to bring benefits to the general public rather than to make his personal gains. He should devote himself to the advancement of technology, with the aim of raising the living standards of people and making our world a better place to live in. Secondly, as a respectable scientist, he should be on good terms with other scientists. Cooperation and mutual trust between scientists are very critical for scientific achievements. Thirdly, a good scientist should be honest and respect the work of others. Never should he copy from others or falsify research findings. Last but not the least, a scientist should be a responsible person. He should not make any hasty decisions. Once a decision is made he should shoulder its consequence. In a word, an excellent scientist should have good professional ethice to win the respect of the people and contribute more to people's benefits.2003年3月英语作文题目Good management can help the organization achieve its desired results. This is particularly true of the management of an organization full of scientists and research worker. What is your idea about a good management or good manager of such a group of people?Good management can help an organization achieve its desired results. But for any organization, managing human resources is never an easy job. To manage well a group of scientists and research workers could be even more challenging.First, since research staffs are all learned and highly opinionated individuals with independent thinking, the manager should never adopt simple and rather straightforward approaches that may otherwise be effective for other people. The manager himself should be highly educated, knowing what the researchers are doing, thinking and talking about, and then find appropriate ways to settle the differences. He also needs to have strong coordination competence in dealing with these independent people in fulfilling a collective task.Secondly, the manager should be aware that his scientific staffs are decent people, sensitive to the way of treatment. Therefore, he must show his sincerity whenever talking with them about anything serious.Thirdly, scientists are assets wherever they are and some of them may even be the backbones or pioneers in certain fields of research. If they are not satisfied whit the management, work environment or living conditions provided for them, they may choose to leave the organization and find jobs elsewhere. This would definitely be agreat loss to the organization. Therefore, a good manager should also take good care of these scientific staff, trying to solve their problems and improve their working and living conditions. To make it short, a good manager of a research institution must do his utmost to provide the best possible environment for research.2002年10月英语作文题目As a young scientist, which life would you prefer to live: common or uncommon? Why?As a young scientist, I prefer to live a common, rather than uncommon life. That is, I would rather have a life as ordinary as most people around me.Like most others, I enjoy staying with my family. Whenever I need help, my parents give me support. Now I'm alone in Beijing. But whenever I am in low spirit, my parents would write to encourage me. Conversely, when I have some new research findings, the first people I would like to share my happiness with are my parents. For most people, recreational activities serve as an important part of life. To me, a person always busy with research, they are all the more needed. Watching TV, playing games on the Internet and practicing Karaoke during my spare time are not only a lot of fun but also make me forget all the fatigue and become energetic again with my work. There is one more important reason that I prefer to live rather ordinarily. I found I often drew inspiration from ordinary scenes that helped a lot with my research. As it's well known, Newton found the law of gravity when he was sitting under a tree.As a young scientist, though I am busy with my research, I always get much pleasure from my common way of life. It is the source of my energy.。
