本次初三年级英语考试属于中考模拟考试。
考试内容和形式贴近中考。
力图达到考察学生的真实水平，发挥试卷的教育测量和教学评价作用，进而引领初三英语教学的正确方向。
试题结构分为选择题和非选择题两部分。
试题难度为4：3：2：1 一、选择题共有两大部分：第一部分为听力部分，总分为二十五分，试题结构为听句子、对话、短文共三种题型。
听力材料涉及到天气、购物、职业、就医、兴趣爱好等。

山西省2012年中考英语模拟试卷分析秀水一中李全香根据教育局的统一安排，我们参加了山西省2012年中考模拟试题的统一考试，考试内容和形式贴近中考，力图达到考查学生的真实水平以及锻炼学生适应中考的能力。
考生人数为524名，从阅卷情况整体上看，全校英语教学水平逐年提高，教学质量稳中有升。
一、试题分析今年的中考英语模拟试题在分值设置、题量增减以及内容选材等方面与2011年的中考英语试题相比没有太大变化。
试题分析如下：（一）基本情况1.考试形式本试卷采用闭卷笔答的形式。
试题由听力测试和书面测试（含选择题和非选择题）两部分组成。
试题共12页，9个大题，满分120分（其中：听力测试部分的分值为20分，测试时间为20分钟），考试时间为120分钟。
2.试卷结构试卷分为I、II两卷，其中第I卷为选择题，采用机读卡答题。
第II卷为非选择题，考生可直接在试卷上作答。

2012年中考英语学科试题分析由于没有进行评卷，不知道学生的答题情况，我所掌握的信息只有一份我校学生的成绩表：我主要从以下几个方面进行试题分析：一．我校英语学科总体情况：考生总数：57人英语学科优秀人数：7人最高分：108 （2人）最低分：30分72分以：25人平均分：65.39 其中选择最高分：78分最低分：24卷二最高分：32分最低分：1二．试题分析试题科学安排试卷结构，讲究卷面的结构美，方便学生答题。
严把选材关，从思想、语言和内容三个方面高标准选材。
1．试卷结构本年度试题由卷I和卷II两部分组成，总分120分（听力测试部分30分，笔试部分90分），考试时间为120分钟。
卷I为客观试题，包括听力部分第一节和笔试的选择题部分；卷II为主观试题，包括听力部分第二节和笔试的非选择题部分。
试题设计由易到难，循序渐进，有梯度，有层次。
从词汇量和难度系数两个方面，逐年加大听力和阅读的考查力度。
全卷中英文阅读量为3750个词，试题总体预估难度系数0.62，其中客观题部分0.64，主观题部分0.58。

试卷有五大特点：一、评价观念新，注重基础，强调能力。
二、选材新颖，题材、体裁丰富多样，又紧扣学生的生活实际。
三、试卷题型结构趋于简约，更具综合性，增加了主观的比分，加大主观试题的开放程度，加大了考查考生综合运用语言能力的力度。
四、试卷难度适中，知识涵盖面广，命题时注意知识面的覆盖，双基并重，突出能力，分散难点，形成梯度，不出繁、怪、偏题。
五、试卷也体现了时代性，把阅读能力作为主要考查内容，着重考查考生理解各种题材和体裁的书面材料的能力以及从各种材料中获取信息的能力。
此外，试卷还体现开放性，书面表达着重考查考生运用所学的语言知识与技能进行信息沟通，再现生活经历，并不是孤立地考查词汇和语法的掌握情况，给了考生更多自由发挥的空间。

听力部分分值为20分，笔试部分为100分。

听力部分听力分客观题和主观题两部分。
该部分旨在考查考生从有声材料中获取语言信息并处理信息的能力。
考查的方式主要包括捕捉句子中的关键信息；理解和应答日常交际用语；对对话中的人物、时间、地点、事件、季节、价格等做出简单判断；理解、归纳、概括语段、对话等该部分题型设计由浅入深，由易到难，布局合理，情景丰富、真实。
试题的大部分为细节信息题，部分题涉及整体意图、观点和态度的理解，内容多为学生所熟悉的话题，所选用或编拟的材料，语言地道、时代感强，考查的情景和话题紧扣《课程标准》，不拘泥于教材。
在内容上，既力求符合英语语言的真实交际意义，又贴近学生实际生活；在语言层面上，通过语气、句子、对话、语段、语篇五个层面、五个题型来考查；在形式上，保留了开放性试题的考查，遵循了由易到难的测试原则，使考查的效度和试题的信度更高。
单项选择21题考查不定冠词a与an的基本用法；22题考查代词both的用法，做这个题时如果没有审查数词two 会有考生出错；23题检查exercise 的用法，这个词是个多义词，做可数名词用是：“练习”或“操”等意思，做不可数名词是“锻炼”的意思，根据题意本题应该是“锻炼”的意思，而本题的意思不同答案就不同。
