Each process nozzle shall be capable of withstanding the specified moments and forces from external piping under design conditions which are considered to be acting at the intersection of nozzle and shell in the corroded condition.

The indicator “D” in the formulae is the nominal diameter in inches up to a maximum of 60 inches. The ‘b’ value in the formulae depends upon the rating of the nozzle flange as follows:

The loads can be expected to apply in the positive and negative directions.

Assessment shall be in accordance with WRC Bulletins 107 and 297 against 3 times the allowable stress (3Sm). The nozzle/shell reinforcement shall be incremented if found necessary.

当设备筒体/封头的厚度由于外部力和力矩的影响需整体增加时(增加补强圈也无法承受接管 荷载)或者厚度的增加影响了制造工艺(如热处理),供货商可以联系买方以获得管道应力分 析的计算结果。降低公式中要求的接管载荷应得到买方批准。
