She marries Bassanio, and they are richly rewarded.The play explores themes of love, loyalty, justice, and prejudice. As a result, Antonio's maritime trade was blocked and failed to repay on time. Sherlock asked the court to permit him to cut off a pound of flesh on Antonio as agreed by the deed. Sherlock believed that the deed must be kept, and no one could violate or change. Therefore, Sherlock must cut a pound of flesh as agreed. He told the judge in the court: " My request is reasonable. If you refuse me, then your law goes to hell!”
