The storyteller
Mo Yan’s unusual life makes his stories vivid and lifelike. Every time after reading his works, the most impressive thing in readers’mind must be his writing style—like a humorous storyteller who enjoys sharing his stories and experience with everybody in his way. His way seems like having a chat with you. So you do not need to be nervous or worry about whether you can understand his opinions or minds. Through his stories, you can find what he indeed wants to share everywhere. His life also is like an unbelievable legend. When his mature writing mixes with unique stories, a spiritual creation comes out. Who can have confidence in refusing this temptation? That’s why all of his works have caused huge stirs in public after being published. Because of the above elements, in 2012, Mo was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
