八年级下册英语第六单元作文,糖果屋续写
八年级下册英语第六单元作文,糖果屋续写全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Title: The Candy HouseAfter they had defeated the witch and escaped from the candy house, Hansel and Gretel found themselves lost in the dark woods once again. They wandered for hours, trying to find their way back home, but the dense trees and twisting paths only seemed to lead them further and further away.As they walked, Gretel couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched, that something was following them through the shadows. Hansel tried to reassure her, but even he couldn't deny the sense of foreboding that hung in the air. Finally, just as their hope was beginning to falter, they stumbled upon a clearing in the forest. In the center stood a small cottage, its warm light beckoning them closer. Without hesitation, they approached the door and knocked, hoping for some assistance. To their surprise, the door swung open to reveal a kindly old woman with a twinkle in her eye. She welcomed them inside and offered them a warm meal, which they eagerly accepted. As they ate, the woman explained that she was a witch, but not like the one they had encountered before. She was a good witch, using her powers to help those in need rather than harm them.Over the following days, Hansel and Gretel stayed with the witch, learning about the magic of the forest and the ways in which it could be used for good. They helped her gather herbs and brew potions, marveling at the wonders of nature that surrounded them.As they prepared to leave, the witch presented them with a small bag of candies, each one imbued with a bit of her magic. She told them that they could use the candies to protect themselves on their journey, to ward off evil and bring them safely home. With a sense of gratitude and wonder, Hansel and Gretel said their goodbyes and set off once more into the woods. This time, however, they felt a sense of confidence and strength, knowing that they carried a bit of magic with them wherever they went. And so, as they made their way back to their village, the siblings knew that they had not only survived the trials of the candy house, but had also gained a new ally in the form of the kind witch of the forest. Their adventures were far from over, but with a bit of magic on their side, they felt ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.篇2Title: The Candy House - Part IIAfter Hansel and Gretel defeated the witch and escaped from the candy house, they found themselves lost in the dark and mysterious forest. The siblings knew they had to find their way back home, but the winding paths and looming trees all looked the same to them. As they stumbled through the forest, trying to retrace their steps, they were suddenly stopped by a low growl.Turning around, Hansel and Gretel found themselves face to face with a big, fearsome wolf. The wolf bared its teeth and snarled at them, blocking their path. Gretel grabbed her brother's hand tightly, fear gripping her heart. But Hansel stood his ground, trying to think of a way to outsmart the wolf."We have to be brave, Gretel," Hansel whispered. "I have an idea. Let's calm the wolf down with some treats."Remembering the stash of sweets they had taken from the candy house, Gretel pulled out a handful of candies and tossed them toward the wolf. The wolf sniffed at the candies cautiously before tentatively taking a taste. Its eyes widened in delight as it devoured the treats, its growls turning into contented purrs. The siblings watched in amazement as the wolf wagged its tail happily, seemingly won over by their gesture of kindness. Taking advantage of the wolf's distraction, Hansel and Gretel quietly slipped past the now-friendly creature and continued their journey through the forest. As they walked, Hansel and Gretel talked about their adventure in the candy house and the lessons they had learned. They realized that sometimes things are not as they seem, and that kindness and bravery can overcome even the greatest challenges. After what felt like hours, the siblings finally emerged from the dark forest and saw their home in the distance. They ran towards it, tears of relief and happiness streaming down their faces. As they reached the safety of their doorstep, Hansel andGretel knew they would never forget the incredible journey they had been on, and the lessons they had learned along the way.The candy house may have been a place of danger and temptation, but it had also taught them invaluable lessons about courage, kindness, and the power of love. Hansel and Gretel knew that no matter what challenges they faced in the future, they would always have each other and the memories of their incredible adventure to guide them. And so, as the sun set on their incredible day, Hansel and Gretel embraced each other tightly, grateful for the bond that had carried them through their wildest dreams and darkest nightmares. They knew that no matter what the future held, they would face it together, with hearts full of courage and minds full of wisdom. And so, the story of Hansel and Gretel, the candy house, and the lessons they learned along the way, would live on in their hearts forever, a testament to the power of love, family, and the incredible journeys that shape us into who we are meant to be.篇3The Candy HouseOnce upon a time, there was a young girl named Lily who lived in a small village. One day, while exploring the forest near her home, she stumbled upon a magical candy house. The house was made entirely of candy – with walls of chocolate, windows of lollipops, and a roof of cotton candy. It was the most delicious looking house she had ever seen.Curious and hungry, Lily approached the candy house and noticed a sign that read, "Welcome to the Candy House. All are welcome to indulge in the sweet treats inside." Without hesitation, Lily grabbed a piece of the chocolate wall and took a bite. It was the most delicious chocolate she had ever tasted. She couldn't believe her luck.As she explored the inside of the candy house, she discovered rooms filled with all kinds of sweets – from gummy bears to licorice to caramel-covered apples. It was a candy lover's dream come true. Lily spent hours indulging in the sweet treats and exploring every corner of the magical house. But just as she was about to leave, she heard a faint voice coming from the back of the house. She followed the sound and found a small gingerbread man trapped in a cage. The gingerbread man explained that he was the guardian of thecandy house and had been captured by an evil witch who wanted to take over the house.Determined to help the gingerbread man, Lily set out to find the witch and rescue him. After a series of challenges and obstacles, Lily finally reached the witch's lair and confronted her. With quick thinking and bravery, Lily outsmarted the witch and freed the gingerbread man. With the witch defeated and the gingerbread man safe, Lily returned to the candy house as a hero. The gingerbread man thanked her for her bravery and courage, and in return, he granted her a special gift – the ability to visit the candy house whenever she desired. From that day on, Lily became known as the hero of the candy house, and she would often visit to enjoy the sweet treats and share her story with others. The candy house remained a magical place for all who entered, filled with love, courage, and of course, lots of candy. And so, the legend of the candy house lived on, a symbol of hope and sweetness in a world filled with darkness. Lily's adventure had come to an end, but the magic of the candy house would never fade.。

Hansel and GretelOnce upon a time, a very poor woodcutter lived in a tiny cottage in the forest with his two children, Hansel and Gretel. His second wife often ill-treated the children and was forever nagging(抱怨)the woodcutter."There is not enough food in the house for us all. There are too many mouths to feed! We must get rid of the two brats(小孩)," she declared. And she kept on trying to persuade her husband to abandon his children in the forest."Take them miles from home, so far that they can never find their way back! Maybe someone will find them and give them a home." The downcast(情绪低落的)woodcutter didn't know what to do. Hansel, who, one evening, had overheard his parents' conversation, comforted Gretel."Don't worry! If they do leave us in the forest, we'll find the way home," he said. And slipping out of the house he filled his pockets with little white pebbles, and then went back to bed.All night long, the woodcutter's wife harped on and on(喋喋不休)at her husband till, at dawn, he led Hansel and Gretel away into the forest. But as they went into the depths of the trees, Hansel dropped a little white pebble here and there on the mossy green ground. At a certain point, the two children found they really were alone: the woodcutter had plucked up enough courage to desert them, had mumbled an excuse and was gone.Night fell but the woodcutter did not return. Gretel began to sob bitterly. Hansel too felt scared but he tried to hide his feelings and comfort his sister."Don't cry, trust me! I swear(发誓)I'll take you home even if Father doesn’t come back for us!" Luckily the moon was full that night and Hansel waited till its cold light filtered through the trees. "Now give me your hand!" he said. "We'll get home safely, you'll see!" The tiny white pebbles gleamed in the moonlight, and the children found their way home. They crept through a half-open window, without wakening their parents. Cold, tired but thankful to be home again, they slipped into bed.Next day, when their stepmother discovered that Hansel and Gretel had returned, she went into a rage. Stifling her anger in front of the children, she locked her bedroom door, reproaching(责备)her husband for failing to carry out her orders. The weak woodcutter protested, torn as he was between shame and fear of disobeying his cruel wife. The wicked(邪恶的)stepmother kept Hansel and Gretel under lock and key all day with nothing for supper but a sip of water and some hard bread. All night, husband and wife quarreled, and when dawn came, the woodcutter led the children out into the forest.Hansel, however, had not eaten his bread, and as he walked through the trees, he left a trail of crumbs behind him to mark the way. But the little boy had forgotten about the hungry birds that lived in the forest. When they saw him, they flew along behind and in no time at all, had eaten all the crumbs. Again, with a lame excuse, the woodcutter left his two children by themselves."I've left a trail, like last time!" Hansel whispered to Gretel, consolingly. But when night fell, they saw to their horror that all the crumbs had gone."I'm frightened!" wept Gretel bitterly. "I'm cold and hungry and I want to go home!""Don't be afraid. I'm here to look after you!" Hansel tried to encourage his sister, but he too shivered when he glimpsed frightening shadows and evil eyes around them in the darkness. All night the two children huddled together for warmth at the foot of a large tree. When dawn broke, they started to wander about the forest, seeking a path, but all hope soon faded. They were well and truly lost. On they walked and walked, till suddenly they came upon a strange cottage in the middle of a glade."This is chocolate!" gasped Hansel as he broke a lump of plaster from the wall."And this is icing!" exclaimed Gretel, putting another piece of wall in her mouth. Starving but delighted, the children began to eat pieces of candy broken off the cottage."Isn't this delicious?" said Gretel, with her mouth full. She had never tasted anything so nice."We'll stay here," Hansel declared, munching(大声咀嚼)a bit of nougat(牛轧糖). They were just about to try a piece of the biscuit door when it quietly swung open."Well, well!" said an old woman, peering out with a crafty(狡猾的)look. "And haven't you children a sweet tooth?""Come in! Come in, you've nothing to fear!" went on the old woman.Unluckily for Hansel and Gretel, however, the sugar candy cottage belonged to an old witch, her trap for catching unwary victims. The two children had come to a really nasty(恶劣的)place . . ."You're nothing but skin and bones!" said the witch, locking Hansel into a cage. I shall fatten you up and eat you!" "You can do the housework," she told Gretel grimly, "and then I'll make a meal of you too!" As luck would have it, the witch had very bad eyesight, and when Gretel smeared butter on her glasses, she could see even less."Let me feel your finger!" said the witch to Hansel every day to check if he was getting any fatter. Now, Gretel had brought her brother a chicken bone, and when the witch went to touch his finger, Hansel held out the bone."You're still much too thin!" she complained. When will you become plump(肥胖的)?" One day the witch grew tired of welting(殴打)."Light the oven," she told Gretel. "We're going to have a tasty roasted boy today!" A little later, hungry and impatient, she went on: "Run and see if the oven is hot enough." Gretel returned, whimpering: "I can't tell if it is hot enough or not." Angrily, the witch screamed at the little girl: "Useless child! All right, I'll see for myself." But when the witch bent down to peer inside the oven and checks the heat, Gretel gave her a tremendous push and slammed the oven door shut. The witch had come to a fit and proper end. Gretel ran to set her brother free and they made quite sure that the oven door was tightly shut behind the witch. Indeed, just to be on the safe side, they fastened it firmly with a large padlock. Then they stayed for several days to eat some more of the house, till they discovered among the witch's belongings, a huge chocolate egg. Inside laid a casket of gold coins."The witch is now burnt to a cinder(炭渣)," said Hansel, "so we'll take this treasure with us." They filled a large basket with food and set off into the forest to search for the way home. This time, luck was with them, and on the second day, they saw their father come out of the house towards them, weeping."Your stepmother is dead. Come home with me now, my dear children!" The two children hugged the woodcutter."Promise you'll never ever desert us again," said Gretel, throwing her arms round her father's neck. Hansel opened the casket."Look, Father! We're rich now . . . You'll never have to chop wood again . . ."And they all lived happily together ever after.。

英语人教版八年级下册Hansel and Gretel 故事梗概
The first time I saw this picture I thought it must be a sweet love story, but actually it is a story about a big brother and a little sister. They are Hansel and Gretel.Hansel and Gretel are young children whose father is a woodcutter. His wife decides to take the children into the woods and leave them there to be by themselves, so that she and her husband will not starve to death. After the parents have gone to bed, Hansel sneaks out of the house and gathers as many white pebbles as he can, then returns to his room, reassuring Gretel that God will not forsake them. The next day, after their parents abandon them, the children wait for the moon to rise and then they follow the pebbles back home.Once again the stepmother orders her husband to take the children further into the woods and leave them there to die. Hansel and Gretel attempt to gather more pebbles, but find the doors locked and find it impossible to escape from their parents' house. Hansel takes a slice of bread and leaves a trail of bread crumbs to follow home. However, after they are once again abandoned, the children find that birds have eaten the crumbs and they are lost in the woods. After days of wandering, they follow a beautiful white bird to a clearing in the woods and discover a large cottage built of gingerbread and cakes, with window panes of clear sugar. Hungry and tired, the children begin to eat the rooftop of the candy house, when thedoor opens and a "very old woman" emerges and lures them inside, with the promise of soft beds and delicious food. They comply, unaware that their hostess is a wicked witch who waylays children to cook and eat them. Actually, she is going to eat them when they are fat.She prepares the oven for Hansel, but decides she is hungry enough to eat Gretel, too. But they use their wise to escape from the witch and kill her. Arriving home, they find only their father; his wife died from unknown causes. And then with the witch's wealth, they all live happily ever after. This is the whole story I want to share with you. And at last I’d like to give my best wishes to you all and have a good day. Thank you for your listening!。

The sun was setting, and they knew they needed to find their way home before it got dark. As they ran, Hansel thought about all the delicious candy they had eaten in the witch's house and how lucky they were to have escaped. Gretel, on the other hand, was worried that the witch would come after them.As they ran, they came across a clearing in the forest where they saw a kind old woman sitting by a fire. She smiled at them and offered them some food and water. Hansel and Gretel gratefully accepted and sat down to rest by the fire. The old woman asked them where they were heading, and Hansel told her that they were trying to find their way back home. The old woman listened intently and then said, "I know a shortcut that will take you home in no time. Follow me."Hansel and Gretel followed the old woman through the forest, and soon they saw their house in the distance. They ran towards it, relieved to be home at last. Their father was overjoyedto see them and hugged them tightly. He had been searching for them since they had disappeared into the forest. As they sat down for dinner that night, Hansel and Gretel told their father all about their adventure in the candy house and how they had managed to escape. Their father listened in amazement and thanked the old woman for helping them find their way home. From that day on, Hansel and Gretel lived happily with their father, and they never forgot the lesson they had learned in the candy house – to be grateful for what they had and to never take anything for granted. And whenever they walked past the forest, they would remember the kind old woman who had helped them find their way home. Hansel and Gretel knew that they were truly blessed to have each other and their loving father. And they lived happily ever after. The end.。
