Key words: bible love blessing loyal hope1.IntroductionLove is the topic of conversation forever. The bible,as the canon of western culture, is in its unique way to reveal the connotation of love.About what the love is,there are many different answers in all kinds of people. We can not know what the form of love is,but we can be able to determine what the correct understanding of love is.The essay explains the connotation of love by discuss three stories in the bible. At the same time, some examples are given out to prove these views. The Bible is the concentrated reflection of the western culture and value.Through the interpretation of these stories in the bible, we can understand the western culture and value concept about love in detail.2.Numerology ReviewLove is blessing and guardian for your lovers. The king David is a key figure in the story of bible and a hero in the history of the Jewish state. But whenit comes to affection and love,he is a villain and hypocrite. He adultery with Bathsheba and murder the Uriah, husband of Bathsheba. In addition,Uriah is his loyal follower even he was in trouble.Though David really loved Bathsheba,he should not kill Uriah just to possess her.The love of David to Bathsheba is selfish and cruel. In my eyes, love is more than possession and plunder. What is more important is blessing and guarding for the person you loved. As a result of David’s cruelty, his first son with Bathsheba was died as a kind of punishment of God.Because love should stem from a sincere heart. Now there is a saying, the one thing you can do when you no longer have something is not to forget .The connotation of love is blessing and praying for that one,not possession.Love is loyal and faithful to your partners .Samson is one of twelve judges.Maybe no hero can pass the barrier of beauty,he fell in love with a Philistine,Delilah. At that moment,Philistines are his enemies and invading his homeland. In order to get rid of Samson,Philistines bribed Delilah with money to find the weakness of Samson. She betrayed him, cut his hair so Samson lost his power. She put her love as trade goods.I feel Delilah was not really love Samson. The love between lovers should be loyal and pure.Money can’t purchase love, also one shouldn’t betrayed the other one for money. In the real life, the love always faced a lot of tests in a mature way such as quarrel, cold war, economic problems and so on.But only in this way,it could become strong and solid.Of course, loyalty and trust are the prerequisite for love.Love is to bring hope and happiness for others.Jesus, son of God, is thecentral figure in the new testament. He suffered many hardships to save the people of all over the world. He was crucified and died on the cross, but he brought back to life three days later .This is the origin of Easter.Where there is love there is life. The love of Jesus is not to one person, but all the people of God.In the simplicity of his great heart,Jesus offered a cure of his own for these ills of the world. He called it love. And that one word was the sum total of his teaching. The teaching of Jesus about love is justice and hope.He called on people to gain love and happiness in the process of seeking hope and justice. There are hot discussions in all ages about what the love is.The definition of love is blurry. But one point will not be against, the love is to bring felicity and happy for others.3.ConclusionOn a personal level, love is blessing and guarding for the person you loved. Loving a person is like loving a flower ,You ought to water the flowers instead of breaking it down.On a societal level, love is to bring hope and happiness for others.Make a gift of rose, hand there are lingering fragrance. The more love we give, the more love we receive.Only love can brighten dark and dreary day just as Jesus lit up the dark middle age by his missionary about love and hope.On the positive side, love is loyal and faithful to your partners. There is no denying that loyalty is the foundation of love.On the down side, love is not to possess or betray. This is my understanding from the Bible to the connotation of love.Ibelieve everyone has their own opinions. After all, love is the most beautiful thing in the world.Bibliography[1] Hendrik Willem Van Loon. The Story Of Bible.[M]. At the end of this term, I have learned a lot in my English class. We have covered various topics, such as greetings, family, food, animals, and daily routines. In each topic, we learned new vocabulary, practiced speaking, reading, and writing skills, and played fun games to reinforce our learning. In this summary, I will share some of the things I have learned and my experience in the English class. One of the first things we learned in English class were greetings. We learned how to say hello, introduce ourselves, and ask simple questions like "How are you?" and "What's your name?". We also learned different ways to say goodbye, such as "Goodbye", "See you later", and "Take care". It was fun to practice these greetings with my classmates and the teacher. We even created dialogues to act out different scenarios using greetings.Next, we learned about family. We learned different family members' names, such as mother, father, sister, brother, grandmother, and grandfather. We practiced saying these words and talking about our own families. We also learned possessive pronouns like "my", "your", and "his/her" to talk about our family members. I enjoyed sharing about my family and hearing about my classmates' families. After that, we moved on to learning about food. We learned the names of different fruits, vegetables, meats, and drinks. We also learned how to use the verb "like" to express our preferences. For example, "I like apples" or "He doesn't like broccoli". It was a delicious and educational experience! In the animal unit, we learned various animal names and their characteristics. We learned about farm animals like cows, pigs, chickens, and sheep, as well as wild animals like lions, tigers, giraffes, and elephants. We learned adjectives to describe animals, such as big, small, fast, and slow. We also practiced asking and answering questions about animals, like "What is your favorite animal?" and "Can it fly?". The teacher even showed us pictures and videos of different animals, which made the learning experience more exciting.Lastly, we learned about daily routines. We learned different verbs to describe daily actions, such as wake up, eat breakfast, brush teeth, go to school, and go to bed. We practiced using these verbs in sentences to talk about our daily routines. We also learned different time expressions, like "in the morning", "in the afternoon", or "at night". It was interesting to see how different our daily routines were from each other.Apart from the specific topics we learned, we also worked on improving our reading, writing, and speaking skills. 社会工作专业英语结课论文学期:2010-2011-1年级:社会工作08级即将被垃圾埋葬的文明社会A Society to Be Buried in Garbage姓名:陈启龙学号:A12080148班级:社会工作0801A Society to Be Buried in GarbageAbstract:An affluent society is now burying itself ever-garbage. This is not fantasy, but stark reality. This article will tell us a true reality of the relationship garbage and human in United States. It is really a warning to us in China.Key words: society; garbage; buried us; solve the problemIn the United States, the residents discard garbage at a rate of 720 million tons a year at large, or in other words, ten thousand people produce enough garbage in a single year to cover a football field to a height of 15 feet. The monumental increase in the amount of garbage creates a terrible burden on municipal governments. Most cities still dispose of their waste by throwing it on open dumps or burning it in runs out of the dumps pollutes streams and underground water supplies. The more serious crisis is that the nation is now running out of space for dump sites. Incineration is a major source of air pollution. From the standpoint of public health, efficiency of operations and protection of natural resources, land-disposal operations and municipal incinerators now in use are unsatisfactory.Ocean disposal means dumping garbage into the sea some miles offshore. As reported, a “dead sea” was created 12 miles south to Long Island off New Jersey coast.A 20-square-mile area of muddy brown water was so befouled that it could no longer support marine life. On the western coast, San Francisco has been forced to dump its garbage into the San Francisco Bay, which is threatening to destroy fishing and to fill the bay itself.Yet bleak as this picture may appear, new technology and idea for treating solid waste are under way. A plant was built at Cambridge, Mss., to compress garbage with tremendous pressure into small bales that can be dumped into land-fills or used to reclaim land from rivers and even from the ocean. One incinerator known as the CPU-400 was built in Palo Alto, California. It produces 15 000 kilowatts of electricity daily in the course of burning 400 tons of municipal waste. In order to produce heat energy efficiently and consistently, the waste must be modified before they enter the furnace. One way to do that is to crush and shred the waste into even size fuel.Recycling, reclaiming and reusing components of garbage is the most promising idea of garbage handling. Separation of garbage is a key factor to this process. The methods now in use vary from sorting useful metals from garbage by hand to relatively sophisticated systems of separation by magnets and air currents. Materials such as aluminium, steel, zinc, copper, nickel, tin, lead, silver, gold, glass, plastics, paper can be reclaimed if the garbage is sorted. But the manipulations involved are costly. Companies suffer losses in running waste salvage. A simple fact is: waste material must compete effectively in the marketplace if they are to be used as rawmaterials for industries. If recycling of metals is less profitable than obtaining them from poor ores, recycling them has no value at all. Ironically, it costs the United States a staggering $4.5 billion each year to collect and handle solid waste materials but only about 50 percent of the copper, lead and iron is recycled and about 30 percent of the aluminium and 20 percent of the zinc are reused again. There was a time when people sold old newspaper and worn-out autos to junk-dealers. Now the price for paper and scrap metal is so low that most people believe it is no longer worth the trouble. People also used to return empty bottles for a refund, but a two-or-three cent deposit is not much any more. As a result, paper is thrown out with household garbage, old cars are abandoned in the streets, bottles are littered everywhere in this country.Legislators and officials tend to legislative actions. For instance, four bills have been introduced into Congress to tax or ban non-returnable containers, many of which are made of plastics. As a response, the Glass Container Manufacturers Institute set up recently bottle redemption centers in twenty-on states. It estimated 11 billion bottles a year could be salvaged by these centers. A proposal under consideration in 1970 would charge an initial car buyer a fixed sum for a “bounty registration”,perhaps $ 50.This would go with the car from owner to owner until the car was ready for the scrap heap. The ultimate owner would get $ 50 by turning it in at an authorized auto graveyard. The governor of Maryland, Marvin Mandel asked his state legislature to approve a plan to pay a bounty of $ 10 to any one who brings an old car to a junk dealer. But so far few people have responded to this. Many American car-owners abandon their old cars just by running then into a remote valley, or leaving them in parking lots. Some experts believe that the trash crisis will not be solved until American industry develops what scientists call a “biodegradable” container, one that dissolves or rots quickly after use. The perfect example is the ice cream cone. It can be eaten, of course, but if it is not, it disintegrates easily in water or on a garbage heap. Another is a soup package that dissolves right along with its contents.MY OPINION:In my opinion the government must be do more things to solve the problem of de garbage. One of the main issue of the government is how to handle the rubbish problems. The first problem is about the space. There is a shortage of space for depositing waste. Currently in the city, especially the big cities, space is gold, people tend to use available spaces in more valuable business, not storing and processing the garbage. One solution of this problem can be on the suburb. The suburb is an edge of flourish. But in other hand, it's comparatively close to the city center. The garbage can be collected and later send to the waste processing plant on suburb without using the city spaces and avoid the pollution.Another problem that also needs concern is the increased transport costs,it makes waste disposal expensive. The oil price is soaring nowadays, government will no longer afford the high transport price for the garbage. However, there is otherway to drive the car without gasoline. That is, the electro-car. By using this kind of car, government can save a lot of money on the gasoline. What's more, the electro-car is also environmental friendly without pollution.Overall, I am convinced that the problems always have solutions. If more and more people concern about the waste processing problems, there will be more options to solve them.World list:stark adj. (完全的,十足的,严格的) incinerator n. (焚化炉)roach n. (蟑螂)befoul vt. As the semester comes to a close, it is with a sense of fulfillment and reflection that I summarize my experiences in the Advanced English Literature course. This course, which delved into the complexities of various literary works from different periods and cultures, has significantly broadened my understanding of the human condition and the power of language. The course began with an exploration of Shakespeare's timeless tragedy, "Hamlet." We dissected the play's intricate plot, the character development, and the exploration of themes such as revenge, madness, and existential doubt. Through our discussions, I gained a deeper appreciation for the Bard's mastery of language and his ability to create characters that resonate with audiences across centuries.Moving forward, we ventured into the Romantic era with the poetry of William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Their works, which emphasized nature and the individual's emotional response to the world, opened my eyes to the beauty of nature poetry and the importance of introspection in literature. The vivid imagery and profoundphilosophical musings left a lasting impression on me.The course then shifted gears with a study of Victorian literature, focusing on the novels of Charles Dickens and the poetry of Alfred, Lord Tennyson. Dickens' "Great Expectations" and "Oliver Twist" provided a glimpse into the harsh realities of 19th-century England, while Tennyson's poems spoke to the struggles of the human spirit in the face of adversity. The social commentary and moral dilemmas presented in these works were particularly thought-provoking, prompting me to consider the role of literature in addressing societal issues. Our exploration of American literature brought us to the modernist era with the poetry of T.S. Eliot and the short stories of Ernest Hemingway. Eliot's "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" and Hemingway's "The Killers" introduced us to the complexities of the human psyche and the challenges of navigating a rapidly changing world. The use of stream-of-consciousness and symbolism in these works was particularly intriguing, as it allowed us to delve into the innermost thoughts and emotions of the characters. The final part of the course was dedicated to postmodern literature, which challenged traditional narrative structures and explored themes of identity, reality, and the relativity of truth. Works such as DonDeLillo's "White Noise" and Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale" were particularly captivating, as they pushed the boundaries of what constitutes a novel and made us question our own perceptions of reality.Throughout the course, the professor's engaging lectures and insightful discussions were instrumental in enhancing my understanding of the material. The assigned readings, which spanned a wide range of genres and styles, allowed me to appreciate the diversity and richness of English literature.

Dimensional ToleranceNecessity of Dimensional ToleranceIt is almost impossible (and sometimes uneconomical) to maintain the strict degree of accuracy as listed on a plan. To accommodate this, it is normal to display measurements with a plus or minus (+/-) tolerance which allows for some margin of error. Care needs to be taken however when determining such +/- tolerance, particularly where there are mating parts. For example, a shaft which is machined to its maximum tolerance may not fit a gear center that has been machined to it minimum tolerance or an unsatisfactory loose fit would result from the shaft being machined to its minimum tolerance with the gear center machined to its maximum tolerance.Usually, the dimensional tolerance is decided at the design stage and a Machinist must take care to apply the required dimensional tolerance and to ensure that discrepancies are not introduced as a result of poor workmanship of measuring techniques.Dimensional Tolerance of a Shaft and a HoleFigure 1 shows the plans of a fish robot's joint. In the plan, a shaft is inserted in the holes of Parts 1 and 2. The diameter of the holes are required to be on the plus-side of the dimensional deviation, and the diameter of the shaft is required minus-side of the dimensional deviation. Part 2 is inserted a slot of Part 1. Then the slot of Part 1 must have a plus-side dimensional deviation, and the size of Part 2 must have a minus-side dimensional deviation. Additionally, holes of many "commercially available" mechanical parts, such as gears and couplings, are already finished to plus-side dimensional deviations.Dimensional Tolerance of a ReamerWhen an accurate hole is required, we often use the hand tool called 'a reamer'. A diameter of a general reamer has plus-side dimensional deviation. Therefore, when a hole is made by a reamer that has 12 mm of nominal diameter, the hole is finished plus-side dimensional deviation than 12 mm.Fig. 1, Dimensional Tolerance of a Shaft and HolesInstallation of a BearingMany machines have bearings that support a rotating shaft. Various standardized bearings are commercially available and easily obtained. Generally, the outer diameter of a bearing has a minus-side dimensional deviation. The hole for the bearing must be finished to a plus-side dimensional deviation. On the other hand, the inner diameter of a bearing is a plus-side dimensional deviation, then the shaft to be inserted into the bearing must be finished to the minus-side dimensional deviation.Fig. 2, Installation of a BearingA Slot for an O-ringAn O-ring is a mechanical componentwhich is used as a seal device for variousfluids. In order that it should workcorrectly, a slot of the O-ring must befinished to required dimensionaltolerance. The values of the requireddimensional tolerance are shown intypical O-ring catalogues.Fig. 3, A Slot for an O-ringInstallation of an One-way ClutchIn some special cases, as exampled below,a minus sided dimensional deviation isrequired:Figure 4 shows a one-way clutch fittedwith bearings and a shaft. In order toobtain the correct operation, the outer ringof the one-way clutch must mate firmlywith it mating hole. To achieve this, thehole needs to be finished on the minus-side of the dimensional deviation. In this case, the hole was finished with ahand reamer of 11.98 mm diameter, though the nominal dimension of theone-way clutch is 12 mm.Fig. 4, Installation of an One-way Clutch Which is the Dimensional Deviation Plus- or Minus-side?Muchcare and consideration needs to be given to this issue and the results of the determination needs to be clearly stated on the plans.Surface FinishIn the case of general machining, we donot measure the surface finish in themachning process. However, when weconsider the order of the machiningprocess, it is very important that we knowthe required surface finish. For example, the seal surface for anO-ring must have a high degree ofaccuracy of the surface finish as shown inFigure 5(a). If it has a rough surface, theO-rings are damaged during the assemblystage. Also the sliding surface as shown inFigure 5(b) must have high accuratesurface finish. In order to obtain a high surface finishwith a lathe or a milling process, a slowmovement of a tool and high blade speedgives better results.Fig. 5, Examples of a Flat SurfaceThe Standard SurfaceAs described above, we cannot always finish the actual size to the same as that stated in a plan. In order to achieve the required degree of accuracy, we need to determine a "standard reference point" and plan the measurements from this point for an example of mating parts. In the case of mating parts (see Figure 6), these are where the parts mate is often used as the reference point as this provides a common reference point on both parts (see figure 7).Care needs to be taken when planning reference points as any errors can be accumulative resulting in parts not fitting together. The reference point varies from job to job as the complexity of shapes provide many challenges to accurate measuring and setting-out.Then it is important to decide the standard surface for measuring of the length or the machining of the location. If the decided standard surface is not suitable, errors are piled up, and the completed parts often cannot be constructed as the completed machine. First, see the part plan carefully, and consider where is decided the standard surface. The deciding of the standard surface of a part is different by the shape or how-to-use. When several boards are constructed, the surface touched other parts is very often decided as the standard surface (see Figure 6). When the we make holes in a circumference, the center of circle is very often decided the standard point (see Figure 7).Fig. 6, Holes Inserted a Shaft Fig. 7, Holes of a Flange译文部分:尺寸公差尺寸公差的必要性,这几乎是不可能的(有时不合算)上市计划,保持严格的准确度。

2014-2015学年第一学期The Story of Bible课程论文Title:The Correct Understanding of The Love院系班级:政法法学(1)学号:2013502010姓名:童秋月任课教师:袁丽英2014年12月23日The Correct Understanding of The LoveAbstract本文着眼于圣经故事中涉及到爱的章节,既包括恋人之间的小爱,也包括耶稣对天下苍生的大爱,结合现实状况,从正反两方面来阐释了爱的本质,或者说是爱的正解。

即爱应当是怎样的而不该是怎样的。
