文章结尾处,提到了“from then on, people inthe village started to realize the importance of protecting the environment”这样的话句。

Be a story; Beyond a story.

1Unfortunately, I cannot provide a continuation of the 2020 New College Entrance Examination English paper as it is a copyrighted material. However, I can offer a sample continuation of a fictional English paper. Here it is:***Task: Write a story based on the following picture. The sun was setting on the horizon, casting a warm glow over the vast ocean. The waves gently lapped against the shore, creating a soothing symphony that filled the air. As I stood on the sandy beach, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over me.I had come to this remote island to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The stress of work and the demands of everyday life had taken a toll on me, and I needed a break. So, I packed my bags and set off on a journey to find myself. As I wandered the island, I discovered hidden coves and secret beaches that seemed untouched by human hands. I spent my days basking in the sun, swimming in the crystal-clear waters, and exploring the lush forests that covered the island. It was a paradise unlike any other, and I felt as though I had found a piece of heaven on Earth. One day, as I was strolling along the beach, I came across a small wooden boat washed ashore. Curious, I approached it and peered inside. To my surprise, I found a message in a bottle tucked away in a corner. With trembling hands, I pulled out the message and unfurled it.The message was from a stranded sailor who had been marooned on the island for months. He wrote of his struggles to survive and his desperate attempts to escape. As I read his words, my heart went out to him, and I knew I had to help.Determined to rescue the sailor, I set out to find him. After days of searching, I finally located him in a hidden cave on the island. He was emaciated and weak, but his eyes sparkled with gratitude as I approached.Together, we repaired the boat and embarked on a perilous journey back to civilization. The sea was rough, and the windswere fierce, but we refused to give up. And finally, after what seemed like an eternity, we spotted the lights of a distant shore. As we stepped onto solid ground, the sailor turned to me with tears in his eyes. "Thank you," he whispered. And in that moment, I knew that our adventure had brought us closer together, forging a bond that would last a lifetime. And so, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the ocean, I knew that I had found not only myself but also a true friend in the most unlikely of places. The island had given me more than I could have ever imagined, and I was filled with a sense of gratitude and joy that would stay with me forever. The End.篇2The summer sun beat down on the school field as the students gathered nervously for the final part of the new college entrance exam. She started writing about a group of friends who embarked on an adventure to save their town from an evil villain. The words flowed easily from her pen, and she felt a surge of confidence.Meanwhile, Jack struggled to find inspiration. He had always struggled with writing in English, and today was no exception. He stared blankly at the paper, his mind a jumble of thoughts. Finally, he remembered a story his grandmother used to tell him about a magical tree that granted wishes. With a renewed sense of purpose, he began to write. The hours ticked by as the students poured their hearts into their essays. Some wrote about love and friendship, while others explored deep philosophical questions. But all of them shared a common goal - to shine on this final test and secure their future. As the last minutes of the exam approached, the students hurried to finish their essays. The bell rang, signaling the end of the test. Anna and Jack exchanged nervous glances, unsure of how they had done.Weeks passed, and the results were finally announced. Anna had received top marks on her essay, earning praise from the examiners for her creativity and originality. Jack, on the other hand, had scored lower than he had hoped, but he was proud of himself for overcoming his fear of writing in English. The 2020 seniors celebrated the end of their high school journey, eager to embark on the next chapter of their lives. As he walked along Park Avenue near the First National Bank, he heard the sound of someone trying to start a car. He tried again and again but couldn’t get the car moving. Arthur turned and looked inside at the face of a young man who looked worried. Arthur stopped and asked, “It looks like you’ve got a problem,” Arthur said.“I’m afraid so. I’m in a big hurry and I can’t start my car.”“Is there something I can do to help?” Arthur asked. The young man looked at the two suitcases in the back seat and then said, “Thanks. If you’re sure it wouldn’t be too much trouble, you could help me get these suitcases into a taxi.”“No trouble at all. I’d be glad to help.”The young man got out and took one of the suitcases from the back seat. After placing it on the ground, he turned to get the other one. Just as Arthur picked up the first suitcase and started walking, he heard the long loud noise of an alarm. It was from the bank. There had been a robbery (抢劫)!Park Avenue had been quiet a moment before. Now the air was filled with the sound of the alarm and the shouts of people running from all directions. Cars stopped and the passengers joined the crowd in front of the bank. People asked each other,“What happened?” But everyone had a different answer.Arthur, still carrying the suitcase, turned to look at the bank and walked right into the young woman in front of him.She looked at the suitcase and then at him. Arthur was surprised. “Why is she looking at me like that?” He thought. “The suitcase! She thinks I’m the bank thief!”Arthur looked around at the crowd of people. But no more helicopters came and it was getting dark again. But no more helicopters came and it was getting dark again. The ceiling of thick branches shut out the sky and covered the path in darkness. Jane looked around blankly, a shiver of alarm going through her. Soon the full moon rose, large, round and clear, shining in the deep blue. “Why not pick stones from the stream and make them in the form of SOS?” cried Jane excitedly, determined to save herself independently. Having finished it, she felt so exhausted and slept beside the stones. Tomorrow will be another day.It was daybreak when Jane woke up. Birds were chirping, the branches swaying to the rhythm of the wind, and the leaves fluttering like graceful butterflies. A ray of hope rose naturally in her heart. Suddenly, the buzzing of the helicopter came overhead again. It did saw her waving yellow blouse and most important the SOS. Upon its landing, so thrilled was she that she threw herself at Tom and hugged him tightly, tears of joy welling up in their eyes.“I miss you so much. Have you found the spot?”“Yes, in our heart.” But no more helicopters came and it was getting dark again. The trees cracked and groaned in the dark. A thrill of alarm came through Jane. Eventually, she determined on spotting an open area, awaiting another helicopter. She stumbled her way through the horrible forests and climbed to a high place. No time to waste. After she flagged her yellow blouse, Jane sank to the ground, anguished and defeated. Gazing at the sky, Jane recalled Tom and tears blurred her eyes. Terrified as she was, she fell fast asleep in the wild.It was daybreak when Jane woke up. And, as luck would have it, a helicopter just came by! Jane yelled and skipped, waving her yellow blouse. To her great joy, the helicopter noticed her and landed. What astounded her most was that it was Tom who sat in the helicopter! Out rushed Tom. A huge smile spread across Jane's face and the couple hugged tightly for a long time. It was the narrow escape that made Jane perceive that love was priceless. Over the next years, a change came over the couple. Reasoned discussion replaced fierce arguments and politeness replaced contrariness. They treasured the life and love more.

Solution: She stumbled her way through the horrible forests and climbed to a high place.a helicopter just came by.Out rushed Tom.

The trees cracked and groaned in the dark. A thrill of alarm came through Jane. Jane sank to the ground, anguished and defeated. Gazing at the sky, Jane recalled Tom and tears blurred her eyes. Terrified as she was, she fell fast asleep in the wild. A huge smile spread across Jane's face and the couple hugged tightly for a long time.

实战:(衡水中学四月联考卷)Paragraph 1: On the Christmas eve, Cathryn received a call, which said to return the pet to her at the park gate.Praagraph 2: Just then Mary recognized the thief was her boyfriend.写作指导一、情节构思:Conflict -- Solution本文的conflict: find the thief; how to treat him,而solution就要分两种:forgive or not to forgive?

On the Christmas eve, Cathryn received a call, which said to return the pet to her at the park gate. A feeling of excitement ran through her body, her heart thumping fiercely and her phone falling to the ground with a loud bang. But with a cloud of suspicion hanging over her, Mary coul dn’t stand any crime and decided to accompany her mom to the park. A thick mist enveloped the park with dead leaves fluttering slowly in the air. Suddenly, a young man came into sight who looked around shaking with fear and tiptoed to the gate, a cute dog—their Labradoodle—in his arms. “He was the very male that day.” Cathryn blurted out in anger.Just then Mary recognized the thief was her boyfriend. They rushed over, looking him in the eye, so furious that they just couldn’t contain themselves. He felt a ripple of fear pass through him. “I’m …sorry,” stammered the man, “I just wanted to cure the weak dog and give you a surprise after breaking up with you.” “You go too far. Your selfish behavior may well kill my puppy,” Mary sneered, “You need to go to the police station and explain it to the policemen.” Then, she turned around and left without a word.。
