1、Water

Water is an important resource in our life. We drink water when we are thirsty. We also need water to brush our teeth. Without water, we can easily become weak and get into terrible trouble. However, not all the people are using water wisely. They use water in all kinds of wrong ways , like wasting water by not turning off the taps after washing their hands and polluting local water sources with rubbish and toxic items. We ought to protect water if we want to have a better life.

2、Air

Air is one of the free things in the world. Although we didn’t create it or own it naturally, many people are using it blindly. But as lon g as it’s necessary for us to breathe, we mustn’t forget how important air is. Actually, in our modern society, quite a few methods can be carried out to keep air clean and fresh. What we must do is to protect it by using different solutions to the problems we might face.

3、My view on mobile phones

Nowadays, mobile phones are becoming more and more popular. Almost all students have their own phones. I don’t think it’s necessary for them to take phones to school because of the following reasons. First, so me students can’t control themselves well and choose to play games in class. Second, if the students spend too much time on them, their eyes may get hurt. Last but not least, some students get into the habit of surfing the Internet to get the answers instead of thinking by themselves. In short, although mobile phones have some advantages, it’s not a good idea to take them to school.

4、How to get on well with….

I think it’s important to get on well with teachers. Teachers play an important role in teaching and learning. With their help, we can make progress day by day. If I get on well with them, they will be happy enough to teach me more actively. So I can learn more. Here are some ways to get on well with them. First, respect their work and behave well in class. Second, take notes seriously and finish the homework on time. Third, discuss problems with them and ask for advice. Last but not least, never cheat in exams or break class rules. By doing so, I think I can get on well with every teacher who is in charge.

5、My Beloved Person

S taring at the topic, my dear mother pop into my mind immediately. In my opinion, she is the most beautiful woman in the world. She has long and black hair with two bright eyes. Although

she is lack of education, she holds smart ideas towards my study. When I meet with some difficulties, she usually encourages me to try my best and help me to solve problems. Besides, she shares the same hobbies with me, such as travelling, so our free time is always full of fun. We can enjoy some attractive places together. In conclusion, there’s never a boring moment with her and I love her so much.

6. A useful walking stick

One day, my grandfather went for a walk alone after dinner. Moments later, he felt tired and sat on a bench for a rest. Suddenly, he heard some noise. A lovely lady was running after a young man who carried a beautiful handbag. She shouted loudly, “Stop! That’s my handbag!” My grandfather realized that man had stolen the handbag. He wanted to help the woman but he was not strong enough to catch the man. Then he noticed his walking stick and got an idea immediately. When the man passed by, he put the walking stick towards the man and made him fall down. At the same time, a police came in a hurry and caught the man at once. How smart my grandfather was!

7. I want to invent a time machine

Nowadays, we are all experiencing amazing modern life. However, I prefer to learn about history from a real experience. We can also learn about the future life of human beings. So if I have an opportunity to work as a great inventor, inventing a time machine will be my first choice. I want to use it to visit one of the best schools in Tang Dynasty(唐朝).

As we all know, open-minded education became popular in Tang Dynasty. Therefore, when I visit the school of the ancient city, I can try different ways of studying . Also it will enable me to discover the culture from people in different countries as well. Using a time machine would become a wise way. I am looking forward to the special day when my time machine is introduced.

8. How to protect myself

Everyone in my family was woken by the special shaking. The first word that came to my mind was earthquake. When I looked outside of the window, I found almost everyone was frightened, running here and there. I could hear the shouting from the neighbours. Although I realized that I was in danger,I told myself to be brave enough and began to think about correct ways to protect myself from damage in an earthquake. I ought to get outside instead of hiding inside the building because it was not safe. I couldn’t leave by lift but walk downstairs. As soon as I went away, I asked the police for advice. And I learned that should always care about the unexpected drop from the top. Guided by these ways, I managed to prevent myself from being hurt, and survived the accident.

9. Forest

Forest is very important. It is not private but public. Forest is a present that the nature gives us. With forest, we can breathe fresh air. Recently, forests are in danger. People cut down trees. Wild animals live in forests are in terrible trouble for they lose their homeland. Besides, forests often catch big fires without control because people break the natural rules and destroy the
