British Pub Culture

The British diet really can’t give people a deep impression. But the British pub culture does make people more than impressed, but also fascinated. If someone truly wants to understand the local culture of Britain, the most effective way is to step into those pubs.“ If you haven’t been to pub, you haven’t been to Britain” as the British people tell to foreigners. In fact it really like they said, the pub culture is absolutely essential for the UK as part of social life.

In the UK, the pub was called “public house” and the word “pub” is short of it. Britain’s current pub is about more than 80,000, different sizes and different forms. Pub has become one of the unique features of the cities and towns throughout the UK. Britain’s pubs are mostly beautiful and fascinating names, such as The Mermaid, The Red House and Cattle in Forest, The Jolly Sailor as well as Charming Port. British bar has become an important part of the British life has a history of hundred years, it originated in 11 Century. Like a church, a pub is usually the center of a community.

There are two sections of bar in pub: public bar and saloon bar or lounge bar. In public bar, there is a small place available to customers for handled game.
