T:Let’s move our body and chant, clap your hands with me!
T:Look at the pictures. What color are the umbrellas? What color is this one? Ss:They are black but this one is red.T:What about these face balls and this one? Ss:These are crying but this one is smiling.T:So we call them special. The red umbrella and the smiling face ball are special.
English: To plan a English picture book storytelling activity, first select an engaging and age-appropriate book that will capture the children's attention. Next, familiarize yourself with the story and practice reading aloud with fluency and expression. Consider incorporating interactive elements such as asking questions, pausing for predictions, or encouraging children to retell parts of the story. Create a cozy reading environment with comfortable seating and good lighting. During the activity, engage the children by making eye contact, using different voices for characters, and encouraging them to participate. After reading the book, facilitate a discussion about the story, characters, and themes to promote comprehension and critical thinking. Finally, provide opportunity for the children to engage in a related hands-on activity or craft to further reinforce their understanding of the story.
