But are we really so easy to fool? According to several studies, the answer is yes: even the most obvious fake news starts to become believable if it’s ___57___ enough times. In the months running up to the US election there was a surge(大浪)in fake news. According to an analysis by Craig Silverman, a journalist, during this time the top 20 fake stories in circulation ___58___ the top 20 stories from 19 mainstream publishers.Paul Horner, a creative publisher of fake news, has said he believes Donald Trump was elected because of him.“My sites were picked up by Trump supporters all the time (i)follo wers don’t fact-check anything –they’ll post everything, believe anything,”he told the Washington Post.Silverman previously ___59___ rumours circulating online in 2014 and found that shares andsocial interactions around fake news articles dwarfed(使…相形见绌)those of the articles that exposed them. The researchers found that simply repeating the statements at a later data was enough to increase the ___63___ of the students believing them.Last year, Lisa Fazio at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee and her team found that students become more likely to believe a statement that they know must be false if it is repeated.“Our research suggests that false news can and likely does affect people’s ___64___. Even if people are conscious that a headline is false, reading it multiple times will make it seem more trustworthy,”Fazio says.Reassuringly, the team found that a person’s knowledge has a large influence over their beliefs, but it’s still a worrying ___65___ given that falsehoods appear repeatedly in our newsfeeds every day.Ⅲ. Reading ComprehensionSection ADirections:For each blank in the following passages there are four words or phrases marked A, B, C, and D. There is a popular notion that a college education is something to be endured in order to become ___66___ to obtain certain kinds of jobs or to go to graduate school. This is not what we are trying to do at Harvard, nor would we wish to have many students here who took such a(n) __67__ view of a college career. There are several goals we aim to reach in our undergraduate program. The most obvious one is to give knowledge—fairly __68__ knowledge in one field and a more general knowledge of a variety of other subject areas which you may choose according to your interest. But if acquiring knowledge is a self-evident part of a college education, it is __69__ the most important. Remarkably few of the facts you learn here will remain in your __70__ for many years, and some of those that do will even be proved __71__ by new knowledge.__72__, we can instill(灌输) certain attitudes of mind—a willingness to accept uncertainty, and the lack of definite truths; independence of mind, and a respect for facts and for the uncomfortable conclusions which facts sometimes lead to.In addition to these __73__ qualities, a college education should try to lay a foundation for the creative use of __74__ time. Some of this capacity can be stimulated in the classroom—in courses in the humanities and the arts. Yet, at least as much __75__ will occur outside the lecture hall—on athletic fields, in music rooms, student theaters, concert halls, and so forth. These are some of the __76__ of a liberal college education as I see them. I cannot resist concluding with a few private thoughts about our new careers at Harvard. To begin with, I hope that we will think __77__ about what we want to accomplish here. It would be __78__ for you to set your sights on some limited goal, such as getting good grades or merely getting into one or another graduate school.Second, I hope that you will give some thought to what you can do for others during your stay here. There are many problems waiting for your help, and many people who could __79__ your efforts. My final bit of advice. whatever else we do, let us remember not to take ourselves too seriously. However great our problems may seem, however urgent our complaints, they are overshadowed(黯然失色)by the __80__ of countless other people on our planet.66. Choose the one that fits best according to the information given in the passage you have just read.(A)Waitangi Day is celebrated on the 6th of February every year. It is a public holiday for the entire nation. It is celebrated as a commemoration of the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. The Treaty of Waitangi was a document signed between the English settlers and indigenous(本土的)Maori people. When the treaty was signed, it made New Zealand an English Empire and the Maori people had rights to their land. It made the Maori and English settlers one people, with the same rights and ruled by the same people.Waitangi Day is celebrated in many different ways. A formal service of remembrance(纪念)is held at Waitangi, which is in Northland(at the top of the North Island). It is attended by the Prime Minister, the Governor General(the Queen’s representative), the Maori Prince and Maori Chiefs and their Whanau(family).Traditional people would have attended church in the morning and spent time with family and friends, reflecting on the true meaning of the treaty. Now we go to public concerts and festivalswhere you may be able to watch traditional Maori dancing and speeches made by leaders and important people from the community or country. There are also concerts that modern day singers and artist perform at. But many families and friends will simply spend the day at the beach soaking up the sun as it is the hottest time of the year.Waitangi Day is special as it is our national day. It marks the day we become one nation not two separate races living on common land. There was a move to call it New Zealand Day but the majority of people chose to still call it Waitangi Day and so the name remains reminding us of our indigenous people.81. Lacking the right to vote and absent from the seats of power, women were not considered an important force in history. Anne Bradstreet wrote some significant poetry in the seventeenth century, Mercy Otis Warren produced the best contemporary history of the American Revolution, and Abigail Adams penned important letters showing she exercised great political influence over her husband, John, the second President of the United States. But little or no notice was taken of these contributions. During these centuries, women remained invisible in history books.Throughout the nineteenth century, this lack of visibility continued, despite the efforts of female authors writing about women. These writers, like most of their male counterparts, were amateur historians. Their writings were celebratory in nature, and they were uncritical in their selection and use of sources.During the nineteenth century, however, certain feminists(女权主义者)showed a keen sense of history by keeping records of activities in which women were engaged. National, regional, andlocal women's organizations assembled accounts of their doings. Personal correspondence(通信), newspaper clippings, and souvenirs were saved and stored. These sources from the core of the two greatest collections of women's history in the United States; one at the Elizabeth and Arthur Schlesinger Library at Radcliffe College, and the other the Sophia Smith Collection at Smith College. Such sources have provided valuable materials for later generations of historians.Despite the gathering of more information about ordinary women during the nineteenth century, most of the writing about women conformed to the "great women" theory of history, just as much of mainstream American history concentrated on "great men." To demonstrate that women were making significant contributions to American life, female authors singled out women leaders and wrote biographies. or else important women produced their autobiographies. Most of these leaders were involved in public life as reformers, activists working for women's right to vote, or authors, and were not representative at all of the great of ordinary woman. The lives of ordinary people continued, generally, to be untold in the American histories being published.88. What is the passage mainly about?A. The role of literature in early American histories.B. The place of American women in written histories.C. The keen sense of history shown by American women.D. The“great women”approach to history used by American historians.89. In the 1st paragraph, Bradstreet, Warren, and Adams are mentioned to show that ______.A. a woman’s status was changed by marriageB. even the contributions of outstanding women were ignoredC. only three women were able to get their writing publishedD. poetry produced by women was more readily accepted than other writing by women90. In the 2nd paragraph, what weakness in 19th-century histories does the author point out?A. They put too much emphasis on daily activities.B. They left out discussion of the influence of money on politics.C. They were printed on poor-quality paper.D. The sources of the information they were based on were not necessarily accurate.91. What use was made of the 19th-century women’s history materials in the Schlesinger Libraryand the Sophia Smith Collection?A. They were combined and published in a multivolume encyclopedia.B. They formed the basic of college courses in the nineteenth century.C. They provided valuable information for twentieth-century historical researchers.D. They were shared among women’s colleges throughout the United States.(D)Culture can affect not just language and customs, but also how people experience the world on surprisingly basic levels.Researchers, with the help of brain scans, have uncovered shocking differences in perception (感知)between Westerners and Asians, what they see when they look at a city street, for example, or even how they perceive a simple line in a square, according to findings published in a leading science journal. In Western countries, culture makes people think of themselves as highly independent entities(实体). When looking at scenes, Westerners tend to focus more on central objects than on their surroundings. East Asian cultures, however, emphasize inter-dependence. When Easterners look at a scene, they tend to focus on the surroundings as well as the object.Using an experiment involving two tasks, Dr. Hedden asked subjects to look at a line simply to estimate its length, a task that is played to American strengths. In another, they estimated the line’s le ngth relative to the size of a square, an easier task for the Asian. The level of brain activity, by tracking blood flow, was then measured by Brain Scanners. The experiment found that although there was no difference in performance, and the tasks were very easy, the levels of activity in the subjects’ brain were different. For the Americans, areas linked to attention lit up more, when they worked on the task they tended to find more difficult --- estimating the line’s size relative to the square. For the Asians, the attention areas lit up more during the harder task also –estimating the line’s length without comparing it to the square. The findings are a reflection of more than ten years of previous experimental research into east-west differences. In one study, for instance researchers offered people a choice among five pens; four red and one green. Easterners were more likely to choose a red pen while Westerners were more likely to choose the green one.Culture is not affecting how you see the world, but how you choose to understand and internalize(使内化)it. But such habits can be changed. Some psychological studies suggest that when an Easterner goes to the West or vice versa, habits of thought and perception also begin to change. Such research gives us clues on how our brain works and is hopeful for us to develop programs to improve our memory, memory techniques and enhance and accelerate our learning skills.92. According to the passage, Chinese people are most likely to _____.A. more emphasize independent thinkingB. always focus more on their surroundingsC. focus more on the context as well as the objectD. think of Westerners as highly independent entities93. We know from the passage that people’s brains will be more active when _____.A. the task is much easierB. the blood flow is trackedC. people begin to choose colorsD. the task is more difficult94. What do the findings of the experiments mentioned in the passage indicate?A. They indicate that culture has a great impact on the way people talk and behave.B. They show that Easterners and Westerners have great differences in perceiving the world.C. They suggest that people’s habits of perception can be changed in different cultures.D. They make it clear that Easterners and Westerners lay emphasis on different things.95. It can be inferred from the passage that ______.A. Easterners prefer collectivism to individualismB. East Asian cultures lay more emphasis on independenceC. It took over ten years to find out how to improve our brainpowerD. Americans will change their habits of perception when they’re in BritainⅣ. AMost of us spend our lives seeking the natural world. We go fishing, sit in the garden, have a picnic, live in the suburbs or go to the seaside. The most popular leisure activity in Britain is going for a walk. When joggers jog, they don’t run the st reets. Every one of them tends to go to the park or the river. But despite this, our children are growing up nature deprived (剥夺). I spent my boyhood climbing trees. These days, children are robbed of these ancient freedoms, due to problems like crime, traffic, the loss of the open spaces and strange new ideas about what is best for children, that is to say, things that can be bought, rather than things that can be found. The truth is to be found elsewhere. A study in the US: families had moved to better housing and the children were assessed for ADHD—attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(多动症). Those whose accommodation had more natural views showed an improvement of 19%; those who had the same improvement inmaterial surroundings but no nice view improved just 4%.ADHD is one of the great problems of modern childhood. One study after another indicates that contact with nature gives huge benefits to ADHD children. However, we spend money on drugs rather than on green places. The life of old people is measurably better when they have access to nature. The increasing concern for the growing population of old people is in quality rather than quantity of years. And study after study finds that a garden is the single most important thing in finding that quality. Even problems with crime and aggressive behaviour are reduced when there is contact with the natural world. We need the wild world. It is essential to our well-being, our health and our happiness.1. According to the author, people enjoy______ to seek nature.A. jogging on the streetB. sitting in the gardenC. shopping in the supermarketD. running in the gym2. From the second paragraph, we can see that______ .A. adults deprive the children of their rights to approach natureB. climbing trees will certainly do good to the childrenC. children probably spend less time in nature nowadaysD. children tend to be happier as a result of their materialsatisfaction3. In what way do people benefit from their contact with nature?A. Children with ADHD can be cured.B. A garden nearby improves the quality of old people’s life.C. Problems with crime and violent behavior will easily be solved.D. Children’s performance at school is greatly improved.4. What is the main idea of this passage?A. Access to nature improves our life.B.Nature treats children with ADHD.C.Getting close to nature reduces crime.D. Man can’t live without natural areas.BBeing physically active three times a week reduces the odds of being depressed by about 16%, according to new UCL research carried out as part of the Public Health Research Centre. The study, published in JAMA Psychiatry, found a two-way relationship between depression and physical activity. People who increased their weekly activity were reported to have fewer depressive symptoms but those with more depressive symptoms were less active, particularly at younger ages.Researchers followed 11, 135 people born in 1958 up until the age of 50, recording depressive symptoms and levels of physicalactivity at regular intervals in adulthood. They found that each additional activity period per week reduced odds of depression by 6%. In England 19% of men and 26% of women are currently classed as “inactive”, and this study suggests that activity could significantly improve their mental as well as physical health.“Assuming the association is caus al, physical activity has a protective effect against depression. If an adult between his twenties and forties who isn’t physically active became active 3 times per week, he would reduce his risks of depression by about 16%,” sa id Dr Snehal of the UCL Institute of Child Health, lead author of the study.Professor Mark, director of the Public Health Research Centre, said: “ Many people are already aware of the benefits of physical activity on their general health, but now we are seeing more evidence that suggests it also has a positive effect on a person’s mentalwell-being. The latest research highlights just how important it is to ensure that people are working and living in environments that allow them to be both physically active and mentally healthy.”5. The underlined word “odds” in Paragraph 1 probably means“______ ”.A. benefitsB. intervalsC. risksD. ages6. According to the second paragraph, if people increase their weeklyA. their depressive symptoms will be fewerB. their depressive symptoms will be moreC. they will become much youngerD. they will become more depressive7. Which of the following statements is TRUE according to the passage?A. Dr Snehal thinks it is important to be both physically andmentally healthy.B. The research shows men are more active in physical activitythan women.C. Adults who insist on physical activity will advoid depressioncompletely.D. Increasing physical activity can free people from depression in away.8. What is the author’s purpose in writing the passage?A. To tell us a fun story about how to protect us against depression.B. To introduce a research on the link between physical activityand depression.C. To persuade readers to increase their weekly activity.D. To describe the disadvantages of physical activity.CWhen going through major life changes, like changing careers, I would change the people with whom I spent the most time. We’ve all gone through periods when the people in our lives have changed—graduation, moving to a new city, getting a new job, joining a new club, etc. I don’t think I need to convince you just how much influence other people can have over your identity. If you’ve ever experienced a major switch in your people environment, then you know that you change as well. Most people don’t make these choices consciously(意识到地)though. You might consciously decide to spend more time with a certain friend, or you may ask someone out on a date to begin a new relationship. But few people choose their existing friendships deliberately. There’s no“getting rid of people”. People are always dropping into and out of each other’s lives. Associations grow into friendships, and friendships fade into associations. You don’t get rid of anyone. The truth is that in order to make room for new people and new experiences, you may need to loosen up some of your existing connections. What about loyalty(忠诚)? Shouldn’t you always be loyal to your friends? Once you have a close friend, even if their influence on you is slightly harmful, shouldn’t you stick by them?Loyalty to a friend sometimes means having to let go. It means being loyal to their highest and best self as well. If someone is destroying his health by smoking, for example, you aren’t showing loyalty by smoking right along with him. True loyalty sometimes requires that you break damaging connections, get yourself back on solid ground, and then decide what you can really do to help your friend. It can take a lot of courage to tell someone,“I’m sorry, but I can’t have you in my life anymore.”But even though this might seem like a selfish act at times, it’s often the best thing for the other person too. If a relationship is holding you back in some way, understand that it’s also hurting the other person. For example, if you work for a violent boss, your acceptance of that situation is considered to be silent approval, encouraging your boss to continue to behave violently.A. join a new social communityB. influence their friends aroundC. choose their friendships purposelyD. have their people environment changed10. What does the underlined sentence in Paragraph 3 mean?A. Everyone has at least one friend.B. It is unnecessary to make new friends.C. Friendship still exists though there’s less connection.D. You ought to treat your old and new friend equally.11. What is the author’s opinion on the loyalty to friends?A. Never betray your close friends whatever happens.B. Correct their mistakes while you guard their goodness.C. Stick by your friends even though they do harm to you.D. Break up with your friends immediately if they smoke.12. How should we behave when employed by a violent boss?A. We should accept what we are told to do.B. We should stay silent and be in favor of it.C. We should bravely disobey him if he is wrong.D. We should give our boss courage to continue.DEnjoying a musical performance no longer requires a costly ticket or a trip to a theater. These days, musicians are performing in private homes, at haircutting shops, at airports... even on ferry boats.Musicians like house concerts. At music clubs, they often have to perform over loud conversation or deal with people who have had too much alcohol. People at house concerts are more focused on listening to the music.Just a few hours before the Bombadils started singing at the O’Hair Salon, Lindsay was cutting hair and Tamera was doing facials. Then, they moved chairs and microphones to create a small performance space. The Bombadils made music in the front part of the hair salon, near the hairdryers and make-up tables.“This is our first show at a hair salon,”Sarah Frank of the Bombadils told concertgoers at last week’s performance. Frank said she and band members, Luke Fraser and Kaitlyn Raitz had a great time“interacting”with the audience.Concerts in people’s homes, or small businesses such as O’Hair’s, are becoming more popular, musicians say.“There is a more relaxed atmosphere,”said Domenic Cicala, a musician who opened up his O’ Hair Salon to concerts.“People really get to know the artists.”At house concerts, people get time before and after concerts to meet the performers. Often, the hosts or guests will provide food and drink.“People really like listening to music in the living room of a friend,”said Matt Hart, with Aubrey Zoli making up the Local Strangers, a folk-rock group based in Seattle. At many such concerts, the musicians do not need microphones. Yet, every word of their songs can be heard.13. Why do musicians like house concerts?A. Because private homes are easier to get to.B. Because people pay more attention to their music.C. Because they can do other things while performing.D. Because they don’t have to bring their microphones.14. What impressed Sarah Frank most at her last week’s performance?A. The small performance space.B. Her first show at a hair salon.C. Their interaction with the audience.D. The more relaxed atmosphere.15. How many music groups are mentioned in the text?A. One.B. Two.C. Three.D. Four.第二节(共5小题;每小题2分,满分10分)根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。

But she told me not to risk a good friendship with a boy with the title of boyfriend. It's indeed a wise choice to stay friends with those of the opposite sex(异性)。

Beth WebbBAlthough I love my life, it hasn’t been a lot of fun as I’ve been ill for 28 years.Music has always been a great love of mine and, in my 20s, when my sickness was more manageable, I enjoyed ten years as a professional(专业的)singer in restaurants, playing and singing folk songs. Unfortunately that was years ago and times have changed. Now I live with my mother on a country farm. Two years ago, I decided that I would need to have some kind of extra work to make up for my disability pension (残疾抚恤金). As I needed to sleep in the afternoons, I was limited in my choices. I decided that I would consider going back to singing in restaurants. My family are all musicians, so I was recognized when I went into our local music store. I explained that I wanted to sing again but using recorded karaoke music. I knew that discs were very expensive and I really didn’t have a lot of money to get started. And often you find only three to four songs out of ten on a disc that you can actually use. When I told the owner of the shop about my idea, he gave me a long, thoughtful look. “This means a lot to you, doesn’t it?” he said. “Come with me.”He led me through the crowded shop and to a bench with a large professional karaoke box on it. he placed his large hand lovingly on his treasure and said, “I have 800 karaoke songs in here. You can take your pick and I’ll record them for you. That should get you started.”I could have cried. Thanking him, I made a time with him to listen to all the songs and choose the ones that I could sing. I have come full circle with his help. His kindness still warms my heart and makes me do just that bit extra, when I have the chance.54. Which of the following is TRUE according to the passage?A. The author sang in restaurants to earn his disability pension.B. The author worked as a professional singer when he wasn’t seriously ill.C. The author has been loving music since he was in his 20s.D. From the passage, we can learn that .A. the author went back to sing in restaurants for funB. the author is not only touched by the kindness but also passed it onC. the author’s family were famous for their country farmD. the author’s job choices were limited because of his lack of money56. Which of the following words can best describe the owner of the shop?A. Thoughtful and kind-hearted.B. Lovely and friendly.C. Successful and patient.D. Grateful and professional.CMalaria(疟疾), the world’s most widespread parasitic(寄生虫引起的)disease, kills as many as three million people every year—almost all of whom are under five, very poor, and African. In most years, more than five hundred million cases of illness result from the disease, although exact numbers are difficult to assess because many people don’t(or can’t)seek care. It is not unusual for a family earning less than two hundred dollars a year to spend a quarter of its income on malaria treatment, and what they often get no longer works. In countries like Tanzania, Mozambique, and the Gambia, no family, village, hospital, or workplace can remain unaffected for long.Malaria starts suddenly, with violent chills(寒颤), which are soon followed by an intense fever and often, headaches. As the parasites multiply, they take over the entire body. Malaria parasites live by eating the red bold cells they infect(感染). They can also attach themselves to blood vessels(血管)in the brain. If it doesn’t kill you, malaria can happen again and again for years. The disease passed on to humans by female mosquitoes infected with one of four species of parasite. Together, the mosquito and the parasite are the most deadly couple in the history of the earth—and one of the most successful. Malaria has five thousand genes, and its ability to change rapidly to defend itself and resist new drugs has made it nearly impossible to control. Studies show that mosquitoes are passing on the virus more frequently, and there are more outbreaks in cities with large populations. Some of the disease’s spread is due to global warming. For decades, the first-choice treatment for malaria parasites in Africa has been chloroquine, a chemical(药物)which is very cheap and easy to make. Unfortunately, in most parts of the world, malaria parasites have become resistant to it. Successful alternatives that help prevent resistance are already available, but they have been in short supply and are very expensive. If these drugs should fail, nobody knows what would come next.57. According to paragraph 1, many people don’t seek care because .A. they are very poorB. it is unusual to seek careC. they can remain unaffected for longD. there are too many people suffering from the disease58. People suffering from malaria .A. have to kill female mosquitoesB. have ability to defend parasitesC. have their red blood cells infectedD. have sudden fever, followed by chills59. Which of the following may be the reason for the wide spread of the disease?A. Its resistance to global warming.B. Its ability to pass on the virus frequently.C. Its outbreaks in cities with large populations.D. Its ability to defend itself and resist new drugs.60. It can be inferred from the passage that .A. no drugs have been found to treat the diseaseB. the alternative treatment is not easily available to most peopleC. malaria has developed its ability to resist parasitesD. nobody knows what will be the drugs to treat the diseaseDWhen we think of the leadership, we often think of strength and power. But what are these really, and how do they operate?Leadership today is not about forcing others to do things. If this is even possible, it is short-term, and tends to backfire. If you order someone to do something against their will, they may do it because they feel they must, but the anger they feel will do more harm in the long-term. They will also experience fear.Fear causes the thinking brain to shut down, making the person unable to function at his or her best. If they associate you with this emotion of fear, they will become less functional around you, and you will have succeeded in not only shooting yourself in the foot, but possibly making a very good employee or partner unable to perform effectively. Fear has no place in leadership. The way we influence people in a lasting way is by our own character, and our understanding and use of emotion. We can order someone to do something, which may be part of the work day; or we can employ them at the emotional level, so they became fully devoted to the projects and provide some of their own motivation(积极性). Today’s work place is all about relationships. Anyone works harder in a positive environment in which they’re recognized and valued as a human being as well as a worker. Everyone produces just a bit more for someone they like. Leaders understand the way things work. They know the pay check is not the single most motivating factor(因素)in the work life of most people. The true strength of leadership is an inner strength that comes from the confidence of emotional intelligence—knowing your own emotions, and how to handle them, and those of others. Developing your emotional intelligence is the single best thing you can do if you want to develop your relationships with people around you, which is the key to the leadership skills.61. The underlined phrase “shooting oneself in the foot” means in this passage.A. throw or walk in a specific direction or towards a specific objectiveB. to grow forth(向前)from the groundC. to move or pass suddenly or swiftlyD. to injure or harm one’s own interests62. An employee may have a feeling of fear in the work place when .A. he cannot work at his bestB. he is forced to do thingsC. he feels his brain shut downD. he thinks of his work as too heavy63. Which of the following is TRUE according to the passage?A. People tend to associate leadership with fear.B. Working conditions affect people’s physical health.C. Smart people are more functional in the work place.D. Good relationship is the key to business success.64. To positively influence employees, a leader should first of all .A. develop his own personalityB. provide better suggestionsC. give his employees a pay riseD. hide his own emotion of fear65. Good leadership is mainly seen in a leader’s ability to .A. provide a variety of project for employeesB. help raise employees’ living standardsC. deal wisely with employees’ emotionsD. give employees’ specific instructions(指导)第四部分任务型阅读Beggars are often seen sitting by the side of a street with heads bowed as people pass them by. Some ask people passing by for a small amount of money and some just sit and wait to be given money. A few use aggressive(侵略性的)behaviour to earn money. To solve the problem of aggressive begging, an “alternative giving”plan has been suggested. Ten blue money boxes will be placed in busy places such as the market and the railway station. It aims to encourage people not to give money directly to beggars but instead to give generously to local homeless causes.Supporters of this plan think it will be an effective way to solve the beggars’ alcohol and drug problems. But the police oppose the plan arguing that beggars who do not receive cash may turn to criminality(犯罪行为)to feed their addictions. The homeless charity “Crisis”said the success of any plan will depend on its style. They think that imaginative and positive plans can help create local understanding and sympathy instead of hardness. Most of the beggars dislike the plan because they think they will not get enough money from the boxes for their showers, food and clothes.Begging is a big social problem both in developing and developed countries. Governments must play a big role in solving this problem. Training beggars to work and helping them to find appropriate jobs is one option. This is especially true for developing countries where many low-skill jobs exist. The general community should also be educated to see beggars not as dirty and dangerous, but as people who need71. the speech, he went on the stage confidently.72. his returning, he will clean the room and wash clothes.73.
