若要达到和自己的母语一样的水平，唯一的办法就是终生学习，天天使用。
3学习的方法和侧重点也取决于学习的目标。
我感到国内目前流行的英语教学方式太强调听，说，读，写面面俱到的训练。
其实绝大多数英语学习者是没有或很少有机会"说"和"写"的。
因此这种训练往往是事倍功半。
因为学得再好不用很快就忘记了。
对于绝大多数人来说，"读"是唯一有实际效用，也是唯一能够尽快掌握的技能。
4只要有明确的目标和兴趣，假以时日，任何人都可以学好一门甚至多门外语。
总而言之，从我个人的经历看，学好英语主要是兴趣和目标。
这和做任何事没什么两样。
很多人一开始兴趣浓厚，可渐渐就兴味索然了。
这主要是缺乏明确的目标和动力。
我开始学英语的目标是读懂简写本的英文小说，后来变成读懂英文原著。
后来又希望能听懂英语广播，再后来又想能和外国人自由交谈。
这期间当然还有许多小的阶段性目标。
在每一个目标达到之后，你都会有一种成功的乐趣。
如果漫无目的，或者好高鹜远，就会很快感到没趣或挫折。

预习复习正是培养学生自主学习能力的重要途径和方法。
学生通过对文本知识的预习和对所学知识的复习产生一定的疑惑，进而思考，以解疑惑。
由此可见，预习复习能够让学生真正地融入英语学习过程之中，为他们学习的主动探究、自主学习和创新发展奠定基础。
一、预习、复习的作用。
1、预习：学生通过预习，熟悉教学内容，并且大致找出预习内容中的难易点。
当老师讲解时，学生就可以根据自己预习的情况听讲。
这样，学生能很快地理解教学内容，缩短老师的讲解时间，减轻师生的课堂负担，为丰富教学内容奠定基础，提高教学效率。
但要注意得是：熟悉课本，预习要有层次性和差异性；巧用网络，预习要有时代气息；抓住热点，预习要体现综合性。
2、复习：学习了新的内容后，如果学生能自觉地复习。
从记忆规律方面来说，能增强记忆效果，训练记忆能力。
从知识巩固来说，学生及时地复习能使知识在头脑中得以强化吸收，利于学生对其他新知识的掌握。
二、对学生预习、复习习惯的培养方法。
1、通过课堂监督学生预习情况。
英语课结束前，布置预习内容，并说明下次上课前检查预习情况。
申明：如果检查到没有一点预习的迹象会有一定的惩罚。
最初的几次检查一定要言出必行，以后偶尔抽查，抓突击，如此坚持一段时间，大部分学生会在下课后开始预习下一次要上的内容了。
2、以课后作业与辅导为载体逐渐养成学生复习的习惯。
每上完一堂课，都得要求学生及时地将所学内容进行复习，这样学生对刚学的知识印象才会深刻。
我教了两个平行班，其中一个班要求上英语的那天必须把当天所学的内容认读几遍或背些词汇。
另一个班则没有这样要求。
同样的教学内容，要求复习的班能很快吸收，学习的兴趣更浓，感受成功的喜悦更明显；而没有要求复习的班级对新知识的接收能力很弱，学习的积极性也不强，课堂纪律与效率都不如有复习的班。
这说明要求学生对所学知识进行及时复习的重要性。
所以，不管以小组长领着组员复习的形式、优差生结对子互助复习的形式，还是由老师亲自督促学生复习的形式，都得坚持学生在校把当天所学的内容复习至少一遍。
如果有负责的家长，可以让学生回家复习。
但农村的学生家长几乎不顾孩子的学习的，更不会在家辅导孩子学习。
因此，老师们就得多花点精力辅导学生在校完成复习。
刚开始的一段时间，老师较辛苦，待学生养成一定习惯有一定自觉性后，可以让学生管理学生，老师抽查就可以了。
此外，老师在新课前也要适当复习上堂课内容，建立新旧知识的联系，利于学生养成预习、复习的习惯。
3、指导学生制定自己的近期目标。
有了预习、复习的内容，如果没有目标，则显得盲从。
学生如果制定了自己的近期目标，这样他们有目的地学习能调动学生的兴趣。
当他们达到目标后，既增长了知识又有了成就感，这成了推动学生学习的动力。
所以，当学生有一定预习、复习习惯后，老师可指导不同层次学生制定各自的学习目标。
更利于维持学生对英语学习的兴趣，习惯的持续养成。
三、让“习惯”成为学生学习英语的动力。
就英语学习本身而言，是枯燥的、乏味的，光靠兴趣持续不了很长时间，只要养成良好的习惯，才能持之以恒。
故，培养学生预习、复习的习惯是学生学习英语的原动力。
“冰冻三尺，非一日之寒”，习惯的培养也是如此，需要日积月累逐渐地形成。
总之，抓好预习复习环节，对于培养学生的自主学习能力至关重要，有利于学生的多向思维、发散思维、综合能力和信息能力的培养。

怎样评价一节好的英语课新课程下的一堂好课，应该明确地凸现在课堂教学主体一一学生的身上，主要考察学生在课堂上的学习状态。

学生在课堂上主体地位的确立，是以一定的参与度做保证的，学生没有参与，或参与得不够，就算不上＂主体＂。
学生的参与状态，既要看参与的广度，又要看参与的深度。
就广度而言，学生是否都参与到课堂教学中来了，是否参与了课堂教学的各个环节；就深度而言，学生是被动地、应付地学习，还是积极主动地探究。
从这一点上讲，表现上热热闹闹，实际没有引起学生多少认知冲突的课并不是好课。
二、是学生的交流状态。
课堂上，教师是否创设民主、平等、宽松、和谐的学习环境，让学生感到自己在这个环境里是安全的、融洽的、自主能动的，他能和同学、教师甚至教材进行平等的对话。
他讲错，不会有人笑话；他提出问题，有人关注；他不认同教师，不会受批评；他对教材有异议，也没有人指责。
在这个过程中，师生、生生分享彼此的思考、见解和知识，交流彼此的情感、观念与理念，才有可能丰富教学内容，求得新的发展，实现教学相长。
当他学习困难时，会得到善意的帮助；当他取得成功时，会得到真诚的祝福；在这样的环境里，学生迫切地想与大家交流自己的学习体验，课堂成了学生放飞心灵的天空。
这样的课就是好课。
三、是学生的达成状态。
一堂好课，需要有丰富的知识含量，更要有真挚的情感、体验，这是任何时候评价一堂课必须守住的底线。
检验的标准就是学生的接受程度与效果。
在课堂上，主要考察学生有无切实掌握这些知识，并将这些新知识纳入自己原有的知识体系中融会贯通的能力。
同时，还要了解获得知识的过程，看学生在学习过程中是否积极主动的跟进、共鸣、投入，每一个学生是否在原有基础上得到了尽可能大的进步与发展。
在致力于面向全体学生的同时，是否能使＂优等生＂＂吃得饱＂，让＂慢生＂、＂后进生＂＂吃得了＂，真正学有所得，各得其所。
新课程下的一堂好课，不是对原有课堂教学评价的否定，而是发展与超越，它更多地是以关注学生的学习状态为主。
