Ⅰ.Studying aims

（1）Understand the usages of “-ed verbs”

（2）be familiar with the different sentence structures in which “-ed verbs” are used

（3）Summarize how to choose “ -ed verbs” correctly in these sentence structures..

Ⅱ.Relative knowledge

（1）非谓语动词：不定式过去分词动词ing（动名词和现在分词）

（2）基本含义：

to +V: 一般表示一次性的,未发生的主动动作或行为。表将要或目的

V-ing: 一般表示经常性的,或正在发生的,主动的动作或者行为（主谓关系）

V- ed: 一般表示已经发生的或被动的动作或行为（动宾关系）

Practice and observe

一．作定语(the attributive)

翻译

Conclusion 2:

单个的过去分词通常作定语。及物动词的过去分词与所修饰的名词构成或

的关系。（如①和②）少数不及物动词的过去分词与所修饰的名词仅构成的关系.（如③和④）

改写句子：

1. Most of the people who were invited to the party were famous scientists.

2. All books which were borrowed from the library should be returned by Friday.

Conclusion 3：

过去分词短语通常作定语，并与其所修饰的名词构成和的关系，相当于一个含被动语态的定语从句。
