Markings are either integral markings, cast in the body, or markings made on plates, securely fixed to the body, in accordance with the EN 19 standard specifications.Valve selectionThe butterfly valves are generally used as isolating devices type on/off. In some particular case, in which there’s low differ-ences of pressure and low flow rate variation can be used like regulating devices, considering the hydraulic parameters necessary to avoid the cavitation risk.To do the right dimensioning of butterfly valve it’s necessary to know the followings parameters:•Upstream hydrostatic pressure (that is the hydrostatic pressure with valve in closed position)•The maximum speed in water pipe (generally expressed in l/s) or the nominal diameter and the project flow rate from which it is gained the speed V=Q/AMoreover it’s necessary to control that the maximum speed in water pipe have to be equal or inferior to 5m/s, and the exercise temperature have to be between 0°C and 40 °C.Hydraulic featuresThe head loss Δh are variable in function of valve open degree and can be calculated with the following expression:with Δh = head loss (m), ζ = head loss coefficient (dimensional), v = nominal speed (m/s), g = 9,81 (m/s²)The head loss coefficient can be estimated from this diagram:Determinates the head loss Δh it’s possible to calculate the flow rate Q in m3/h with the following expression (the same expression can be used to, having the project flow rate Q, to determinate the head loss Δh without using the head loss coefficient):in which 10,2 is a corrective factor in meters, and Kv is the flow rate coefficient in m3/h, determinable from the following diagram in function of valve open degree:Example: Valve DN600 mm - Δh = 3 mFrom the diagram with valve open to 100% the coefficient Kv is 20000 m3/h. Using this date in the flow rate expression:Otherwise it’s possible to calculate the head loss with valve completely open, having the project flow rate Q, in function of DN, using the following diagram:CavitationIf the butterfly valve is used only like isolating device there’s not cavitation risk.In the particular case in which it’s used like regulating device, this can be possible only respecting the following parameters:•The valve open degree have to be between 30° and 90° (valve completely open)•The downstream pressure P2 have to be: P2 ≥ 0,7 .P1 - 2,8 with P1 upstream pressure.Instructions for useStorageThe butterfly valve will have to be held (if possible) in covered places, the most possible protected from the sun (maximum allowable temperature 70°C in accordance to EN 1074), from the rain and generally from the atmospheric agents. Moreover it will have to be avoided that the seal of the same air valves come to contact with powder or earth.InstallationThe butterfly valves are generally installed with retaining ring mounted in the opposite way respect to the direction of flow rate to permit the substitution of gasket without dismounting the valve from pipeline. In any case it is possible to install the butterfly valve with flow rate in opposite direction and also, if required, in vertical position. We recommend to install the butterfly with the operating device on the hydraulic right side of pipeline.It’s possible to install the butterfly valve both in chamber valve that underground (choosing the right configuration).We recommend to insert a dismounting joint for the operation of maintenance.MaintenanceThe butterfly valve does not require a particular maintenance, all parts subjected to wear are perfectly auto-lubricating. In any case, if for a long time will be not used, it is necessary to evaluate the functioning of valve doing (at least one time for year) some manoeuvre of opening-closing.All the maintenance operation have to be do after the total emptying of pipeline (no flow rate and pressure) to avoid every risk to the people during this operation.In presence of particularly exercise condition or damage due to external cause, it will be necessary some maintenance operation. In this case the particular shape of EUROSTOP butterfly valve permits the simple gasket substitution without the dismounting of valve from pipeline (if the dismounting joint is present).AccessoriesTo adapt the butterfly valves to the different exercise and installation conditions required, they can be equipped with particular accessories used in combination with control devices: please refer to data sheet for accessories.The technical features in this document are not contractual and can be changed without preliminary notification due to the continuous technical progress of product.。

蝶阀使用说明书1.范围本说明书包括了公称通径DN50mm~1600mm(2”~64”)、公称压力PN1.0MPa~4.0MPa(ANSI CLASS150~300)法兰和对夹连接的手动、齿轮传动、电动和气动操作蝶阀。
2.用途2.1主要用于开启或关闭管道和设备的介质用,作调节、截流和止回使用。
2.2根据介质选用阀门的材质。
2.2.1碳钢阀门适用于水、蒸汽、油品等介质。
2.2.2不锈钢阀门适用于腐蚀性介质。
2.2.3铸铁阀门适用于水、气体介质。
2.3适用温度取决于阀座的材质。
PTFE(聚四氟乙烯)≤130℃不锈钢+复合体≤425℃橡胶≤85℃3.结构3.1蝶阀基本结构见图13.2易损件填料采用聚四氟乙烯或柔性石墨,密封可靠。
4.操作4.1手动操作阀门采用手柄或齿轮传动装置、电动或气动蝶阀由电动装置或气动装置驱动,使蝶板旋转90°开启或关闭阀门。
4.2对于手动(包括驱动装置的手轮)或扳手操作的蝶阀,除订货合同另有规定外,当面向手轮或扳手时,顺时针方向转动手轮或扳手阀门应为关。
4.3电动、气动蝶阀的开启、关闭指示由电动装置、气动装置上的位置指示器标识。
5.保管、保养、安装和使用5.1阀门应存放在干燥,通风的室内,阀门通道两端应堵塞。
5.2长期存放的阀门应定期检查,清除污物。
应特别注意密封面的清洁,防密封面的损坏。
5.3安装前应仔细核对阀门标志是否与使用要求相符。
5.4安装前应检查阀门通道和密封面,如有污垢,应使用清洁布擦拭干净。
5.5安装前检查填料是否压紧,应确保填料的密封性,同时不应妨碍阀杆的转动。
5.6安装时拧紧连接螺栓的拧紧力应均匀合适。
5.7本蝶阀可以安装水平、垂直的管道上,安装位置应保证使用维修更换方便。
5.8手动阀门在开启或关闭操作时,应使用手柄开、关,不得借用辅助杠杆或其它工具。
5.9阀门使用应定期检查,检查密封面有无磨损及垫片填料。
若损坏失效,应及时修理或更换。
5.10电动、气动阀门的传动装置,其保管、保养、安装和使用,请见“阀门电动装置使用说明书”及“阀门气动装置使用说明书”。

结构简单、制造方便。
阀座基本上采用橡胶或聚四氟乙烯等弹性材料。

二、结构和作用原理1.本阀为法兰连接,它是由阀体、蝶板、支架、阀杆、电动装置、密封圈等组成。
2.本阀依靠电动装置的电机或手轮旋转,带动阀轴转动90°,阀轴带动蝶板转动,从而实现开启或关闭。
由于电动装置的特性,可任意调节流量。

6.本阀安装在户外或湿度不超过90%(25℃)的,温度超过40℃而小于60℃的地方,电装应选户外型的,冬天应施加防寒保温措施。
7.安装时注意以下事项:⑴安装前应清洗管道、阀门内腔、密封面和全部外露传动副表面的污垢和泥砂,但注意不得碰伤密封面。

Cut tube end square. Ream, burr and size.使用纱布或钢丝刷清除管道和切割部位,使其金属表面发光发亮。
建议不要使用钢丝绒。
Use sand cloth or steel wire brush to clean both ends to a bright metal finish. Steel wool is not recommended.在管道的外面和焊接罩的内部涂上焊剂,焊剂必须完全覆盖焊接表面。
请有节制地使用焊剂。
Apply flux to outside of tube and inside of solder cup. Surfaces to be joined must be completely covered. Use flux sparingly.要确保阀门处于开启状态。

它对气体半流体等管道中的介质按不同的信号,改变其流量的大小,从而达到自动调整风量,实现自动控制。
体阀采用优质钢板焊接结构,具有传动轻巧灵活,密封性能好,开闭时间短,切断速度快,能可靠的杜绝事故的发生。
This series butterfly valve is suitable to use in the industry pipe of metallurgical, ore building material. Paper textile and so on, Accord to the different signal in the pipes of the gas half fluid medium. Change the flow volume, and adjust the fan volume automatically. It can realize automatic control. The valve is used good welding structure. It is characterized by light, nimble good sealing, short open time, fast speed broken and dependable.二、结构及工作原理Ⅱ.The structure and Working principle蝶阀启闭件是一个圆盘形的蝶板,在阀体内绕其自身的轴线旋转,从而达到启闭或调节的阀门叫蝶阀。
蝶阀全开到全关通常是小于90度,蝶阀和蝶杆本身没有自锁有力,为了蝶板的定位,要在阀杆上加装蜗轮减速器。
采用蜗轮减速器,不仅可以使蝶板具有自锁能力,使蝶板停止在任意位置上,还能改善阀门的操作性能。

Automatic & Pressure Independent Valves -the cost effective option over Manual Balance ValvesThe procedure to manually balance a system is very labor intensive. The pressure drop across each valve is measured and a ball or plug is adjusted to bring the pressure drop to design pressure. Each time a valve in the system is adjusted, the flow through the other valves will change including those previously set because of the pressure change. Hence, the previously set valves must be reset, which in turn affects the flow through the other valves...and so on. In a large system, a minimum of three balances per valve is generally recommended by ASHRAE and NEBB.Contractor price for ¾” manual balance valve with memory stop: $35.Cost to balance three times total: 20-30 minutes @$125./hr: $42.00 to $62.50 On the other hand, each automatic flow limiting or pressure independent (PI) valve is self balancing as soon as the pump is turned on. The only labor required is for flow verification. The pressure drop across each valve is measured by using the ports provided on the valve body. As long as the PSID is within the control range listed on the valve tag, the flow, which is also listed on the tag, will be within plus/minus 5%.HContractor price for 3/4” automatic valve with isolation valve: $60.Cost to verify flow: <5 min @ $125./hr: <$10.Manual = $77 to $97.5Automatic = <$70It is true the initial cost of a manual valve is less expensive than an automatic valve, but once labor to balance the valve is taken into consideration the total cost can be considerably more. More importantly, once the system is live and pressures start changing an automatic or PI valve will maintain the design flow in spite of system pressure changes. A manual valve will have an increase or decrease in flow as the pressure increases or decreases.Buy Fewer ValvesSystems utilizing automatic flow limiting or PI valves require far fewer balancing valves than systems that are manually balanced. Figure 1 shows a schematic of a system serving 18 heat transfer (heating or cooling) coils.Figure 1.The manual system, shown above, requires a total of 27 valves whereas the automatic system, on the right, requires only 18 because it does not require the “partner balancing valves” (shown in red) on the risers and the branches.As each terminal unit automatic flow limiting and pressure independent control valve isself-balancing over a wide differential pressure control range, the flow through the risers and the branches is also automatically controlled (balanced) without the use of additional valves.Using 18 valves instead of 27 manual valves is approximately 1/3 savings in initial product purchases. In our previous example that is 27*$77 to $97.5 or $2,079 to $2,632.50 in manual valve costs. In comparison the automatic system costs 18*$70 or $1,260 in valve costs which is a substantial savings.The elimination of the manual partner balancing valves on the mains, risers and branches in turn eliminates the head loss through them. Hence, the system head loss is reduced which lowers the pump head requirements.System Stays Balanced Even During Reduced Load ConditionsNo coil will starve when saving money by variable speed pumping. However, reducing the total water flow does not mean that all the coils in the building individually need the same reduction in flow. For example, on a typical spring day at 1:00 p.m., the total chilled water requirements of an8-story office building will generally be much less than on a hot summer (design) day. However, the air-handler serving the filled-to-capacity cafeteria, on the first floor, will require almost 100% (of design) chilled water. A building with automatic flow limiting or pressure independent valves will give you this diversity whereas one with manual balancing valves cannot.Figure 2.The schematic at the top shows the design load condition. The system operation point, at design load, is at (say) 125 feet of pump head. The head loss across the various elements (which adds up to 125 feet) for the cafeteria circuit, is as shown. Since the cafeteria is on the first floor, the head loss through the risers is negligible and is ignored.Please note, for design flow at design head, the head loss through the manual balancing valve is the same as that through an automatic flow control valve (86 feet).If this is a manually balanced building, as shown in Figure 3 on the left side, valve MBV #5 would have to be added and manually set. Howev-er, doing this would change the flows through existing valves MBV #1 through MBV #4 and they would also have to be reset. Similarly, upstream branch/riser balancing valves (not shown) may also have to be reset. The resulting labor cost can be significant.If this is a building with automatic flow control valves, as shown in Figure 3 on the right side, you would only have to add valve AFLV #4. Because these valves have wide control ranges, they would all automatically self balance to provide the required flows. No labor would be required to set the new valve or to reset any of the existing valves.Figure 3.The schematic in the middle shows what happens when system flow is reduced (by lowering the pump speed to 52%), if the system is manually balanced. At the lower speed, the pump head will be smaller as will all the pressure losses. Since nothing else has changed in the cafeteria coil circuit, the head loss through the various elements will decrease proportionately and now add up to 65 feet instead of 125. Since the head loss through the manual flow control valve is reduced to 44.7 feet and since flow is proportional to the square root of the head loss, the flow through the manual balancing valve (and the coil) is reduced to 72% (square root of 44.7/86). There is NOW a flow deficit of 28%.The schematic at the bottom shows what happens when system flow is reduced by the same amount if the system has automatic flow limiting valves. Again, the pump head decreases to 65 feet. However, the head loss distribution is not proportional. Instead, the cartridge inside the automatic flow control valve moves by a precise amount, to absorb only 26 feet of head and keeps the flow at the required 100%.With the automatic flow limiting or pressure independent valve, there is no flow deficit at reduced system flow and reduced pump head.(Note: In all three schematics of Figure 2, all losses in the pump room are ignored for clarity of discussion.)Building Renovation Does Not Require Hydronic System Rebalance Very often, space renovation in an existing building also changes the heating/cooling requirements of that space. For example, an open office area that is converted into a large conference room will require more cooling due to the additional sensible and latent heat from the people. This may result in an additional fan-coil unit for the conference room. Figure 3 illustrates this scenario for a Manual vs. Automatic system.Griswold Controls designed the first balance valve in the market in 1960, years before the first manual balance valve was designed and manufactured. The all stainless steel flow limiting cartridge is a standard in the industry because of its simply elegant design. Above its control range (blue colored area in Figure 4), the cup will move all the way in, exposing the minimum orifice area. We recommend to install the butterfly with the operating device on the hydraulic right side of pipeline.It’s possible to install the butterfly valve both in chamber valve that underground (choosing the right configuration).We recommend to insert a dismounting joint for the operation of maintenance.MaintenanceThe butterfly valve does not require a particular maintenance, all parts subjected to wear are perfectly auto-lubricating. In any case, if for a long time will be not used, it is necessary to evaluate the functioning of valve doing (at least one time for year) some manoeuvre of opening-closing.All the maintenance operation have to be do after the total emptying of pipeline (no flow rate and pressure) to avoid every risk to the people during this operation.In presence of particularly exercise condition or damage due to external cause, it will be necessary some maintenance operation. 一、用途
Ⅰ.Application
本系列蝶阀适用于冶金、矿山、建材、石化、造纸、纺织等行业的工业管道中。
它对气体半流体等管道中的介质按不同的信号,改变其流量的大小,从而达到自动调整风量,实现自动控制。
体阀采用优质钢板焊接结构,具有传动轻巧灵活,密封性能好,开闭时间短,切断速度快,能可靠的杜绝事故的发生。
This series butterfly valve is suitable to use in the industry pipe of metallurgical, ore building material. Paper textile and so on, Accord to the different signal in the pipes of the gas half fluid medium. Change the flow volume, and adjust the fan volume automatically. It can realize automatic control. The valve is used good welding structure. It is characterized by light, nimble good sealing, short open time, fast speed broken and dependable.

蝶阀启闭件是一个圆盘形的蝶板,在阀体内绕其自身的轴线旋转,从而达到启闭或调节的阀门叫蝶阀。
蝶阀全开到全关通常是小于90度,蝶阀和蝶杆本身没有自锁有力,为了蝶板的定位,要在阀杆上加装蜗轮减速器。
采用蜗轮减速器,不仅可以使蝶板具有自锁能力,使蝶板停止在任意位置上,还能改善阀
门的操作性能。
The plate piece of butterfly valve is a disc that the valve body around its own axis of rotation,so as to achieve the opening and closing or regulating valve, the valve is called the butterfly valve.Butterfly valve is fully open to fully closed is usually less than 90 degrees, butterfly and butterflies bar itself is not a strong self-locking,in order to position the disc to install the valve stem on the worm gear reducer.The use of worm gear reducer, not only can make the disc with self-locking capability,so the disc to stop at any position,but also to improve the valve performance.
三、安装使用与维护
Ⅲ、Installation and maintenance
1、手动蝶阀最好安装在水平管道上,如需安装要垂直管道上,用户在订货时应注明。
The manual butterfly valve had better install the horizontal pipe. If the client request to install the vertical pipe.
2、大口径式蝶阀使用在振动的情况下,安将时应加支承和加固。
When the big mouth butterfly valve is used in vibrated condition, it should be support and strength.
