Private and public sector organizations are increasingly aware of the potential environmental impact of the goods and services provided to them. With the enhancement of customer environmental awareness, good environmental protection practices have become a key factor in the selection of material suppliers. Recent research suggests that there may not be a conflict between meeting envi-ronmental performance needs and improving profitability. However, many organizations find it dif-ficult to address complex issues related to the exchange and implementation of environmental poli-cies and practices throughout their supply networks. The main reasons are the diversity of trading partners involved in its supply chain and the integration of the "environment" with the exit of or-ganizational mentality, culture and system complexity.
