一个令人满意的标题，既不要过于概括，以致 流于空泛、一般化；也不宜过于烦琐，使人得不出鲜 明印象，难于记忆和引证。

写标题时应注意的问题：
（1）标题是一种“标记”，而不是句子（也有少数作者使用 句子作标题）。一个句子一般要有主语、谓语、宾语，标题 通常不采用句子形式，比句子简洁，但词的先后顺序很重要， 次序错误是标题写作中常犯的错误。

领会科技英语的翻译准则正确理解原文词义的选择与确定科技翻译要与工程实践相结合领会科技英语的翻译准则科技英语主要是述说实理、描写现象、推导公式、论证规律，其特点是结构严谨、逻辑严密、行文规范、用词准确、技术术语正确。
针对科技英语的这些特点，在翻译科技英语时，首先考虑的就是忠实原文，著名翻译家严复一直倡导“信、达、雅”，“信”即“忠实”，也就是要完整地、准确地表达原作的思想内容，这是科技英语翻译的首要要求；其次要讲究的就是“达”，即通顺。
著名学者傅雷先生曾指出：“理想的译文仿佛是原作者的中文写作。
”海外学者钱歌川先生也指出“科技英语的翻译虽不像小说那样要求雅致优美，姿态横生，也不像翻译诗歌那样要求抑扬顿挫，押韵合辙，但要求至少文从字顺，明白流畅。

1 标题1.1 作用论文标题必须用最简洁的语言概括论文的主要内容，以便读者了解该文的核心观点。
对于一篇文章，读者最先关注的是title部分，并根据该内容来决定是否阅读摘要或全文。
随着网络的发展和各种检索系统的出现，title的作用愈发凸显。
如果标题的主题词选择不当，那它可能会丧失被检索的机会；或者标题不能在第一时间吸引读者，那它很可能就被浩如烟海的文章淹没，从而失去了传播该文研究成果的机会。

假如在进行农业专业翻译的过程中，翻译人员只具备了肯定的语言基础，却缺乏过硬的专业学问，就很简单消失各种错误。
