动物庄园读后感英文版

动物庄园读后感英文版The novel begins with a revolt on Manor Farm, led by the pigs, who are considered the most intelligent animals on the farm. The animals overthrow Mr. Jones, the farmer, and rename the farm Animal Farm. They set up a set of commandments, known as the Seven Commandments, which outline their principles of equality and cooperative living. At first, the animals are genuinely happy with their newfound freedom. The farm is run on the principle of "All animals are equal." The pigs, led by the self-proclaimed leaders Snowball and Napoleon, work together to make decisions for the farm. Snowball is known for his eloquence and intelligence, while Napoleon is more ruthless and power-hungry.However, as time goes on, the pigs start to abuse their power. They alter the commandments to suit their own needs and start to live a life of luxury while the other animals work tirelessly. Napoleon takes control of the farm, banishes Snowball, and assumes a dictator-like role. One of the most striking aspects of Animal Farm is the way in which the animals are manipulated and deceived by the pigs. The pigs use propaganda and manipulation to control and subdue the other animals. They justify their actions by claiming that they are doing what is best for the farm, even though their actions are clearly self-serving.The animals slowly start to realize that things are not as they seem. The commandments are constantly changing, and the pigs start to walk on two legs and wear clothes, mimicking their former human oppressors. The pigs even rewrite history to make themselves appear to be heroes and saviors of Animal Farm. The novel culminates in a scene where the animals look into the farmhouse and can no longer distinguish between the pigs and the humans. They realize that the pigs have become just as oppressive and exploitative as their former human masters.Animal Farm is a powerful critique of totalitarianism and the corruption of power. It serves as a warning about the dangers of allowing leaders to take advantage of their positions for personal gain. Orwell shows how easily the principles of equality and justice can be corrupted and how even the most well-meaning individuals can succumb to the allure of power. One of the most memorable lines from the novel is "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." This quote reflects the irony and hypocrisy of the pigs' leadership. The pigs claim to be working for the good of all animals but end up creating a society where they are the privileged few.Animal Farm serves as a reminder that the fight for equality and justice is an ongoing battle. It shows that even when one tyrant is removed, another may take their place. The novel prompts readers to question authority and to be wary of those who claim to have their best interests at heart.Overall, Animal Farm is a thought-provoking and powerful novel that continues to resonate with readers today. It serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of unchecked power and the importance of remaining vigilant in the face of oppression.。

Animal Farm: Reflections on theAllegorical TaleGeorge Orwell's "Animal Farm" is a profound and captivating novel that weaves a tale of rebellion, power, and the inevitable corruption of ideals. Set in a pastoral landscape where animals overthrow their human masters and establish a utopian society, the novel offers a stark commentary on the abuse of power and the dangers of unchecked ambition.Upon finishing this remarkable work, I was left with a profound sense of melancholy and reflection. The animals' initial excitement and enthusiasm for freedom and equality are contrasted sharply with the subsequent decline into dictatorship and oppression. This transformation is not only a commentary on the failings of socialism but also a warning about the fragility of democracy and the seductive nature of absolute power.Orwell's use of animal characters is masterful, allowing him to explore complex themes and issues in a way that is both accessible and deeply engaging. The pigs, in particular, serve as a poignant reminder of how even themost enlightened and well-intentioned leaders can be corrupted by the lure of power. Their transformation from heroes of the revolution into tyrants is a tragic and cautionary tale. The novel's allegorical structure allows it to resonate across time and cultures. Orwell's批判并不仅限于 aspecific political system or era; he is pointing to the inherent dangers in any system that lacks checks and balances or that allows unchecked concentrations of power. This message is as relevant today as it was when the novel was first published. Moreover, Orwell's writing style is both clear and concise, making the novel a pleasure to read even when dealing with heavy themes. His use of humor and satire adds an additional layer of depth and complexity to the story, making it both entertaining and thought-provoking.In conclusion, "Animal Farm" is a timeless classic that offers valuable insights into the nature of power, the fragility of utopian ideals, and the importance ofvigilance in maintaining a free and democratic society. It is a must-read for anyone interested in understanding thecomplexities of political power and the challenges of maintaining freedom and equality.**《动物农场》读后感**乔治·奥威尔的《动物农场》是一部深刻而引人入胜的小说,讲述了动物们推翻人类主人并建立乌托邦社会的反叛、权力和理想必然堕落的故事。

动物农场读后感英文

动物农场读后感英文

动物农场读后感英文Animal Farm is a classic novel written by George Orwell, which tells the story of a group of farm animals who rebel against their human farmer, hoping to create a society where the animals can be equal, free, and happy. However, as the story progresses, the animals find themselves in a society that is just as oppressive and unequal as the one they rebelled against. The novel is a powerful allegory of the Russian Revolution and the rise of Stalinism, but it also holds a universal message about the corrupting nature of power and the dangers of totalitarianism. After reading Animal Farm, I was struck by the powerful way in which Orwell uses the animals on the farm to represent different characters and groups of people in society. The pigs, led by the ruthless and manipulative Napoleon, represent the ruling class, while the other animals represent the working class. The way in which the pigs gradually take more and more power for themselves, while the other animals suffer and struggle, is a chilling reminder of how power can corrupt and oppress. One of the most thought-provoking aspects of the novel for me was the way in which the animals' revolution against their human oppressors ultimately leads to a new form of oppression under the pigs' rule. This serves as a powerful commentary on the nature of power and the dangers of trading one form of tyranny for another. It made me reflect on the ways in which revolutions and movements for change can sometimes be co-opted by those seeking power for themselves, and how important it is to remain vigilant and critical of those in authority. The character of Boxer, the loyal and hardworking horse, also left a strong impression on me. His belief in the pigs' leadership and his tireless work ethic make him a tragic figure, and his ultimate fate is a poignant reminder of the sacrifices that are often made by those who blindly follow their leaders. Boxer's motto, "I will work harder," is a chilling reflection of the way in which those in power often exploit the loyalty and labor of the working class for their own gain.Overall, Animal Farm is a thought-provoking and powerful novel that continues to be relevant today. Its exploration of the corrupting nature of power, the dangers of totalitarianism, and the ways in which revolutions can be betrayed by those in authority is a sobering reminder of the importance of remaining vigilant and critical in the face of oppression. Orwell's skillful use of allegory and his vivid portrayal of the characters and events on the farm make the novel a compelling and unforgettable read. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in exploring the complexities of power, politics, and human nature.。

动物庄园英文版读后感

动物庄园英文版读后感One of the things that struck me the most about Animal Farm is the way it explores the corruption of power. At the beginning of the novel, the animals are united in their desire for freedom and equality. They work together to build a society where every animal is equal, and there is no exploitation. However, as the pigs gain more power, they bend and twist the commandments to suit their own needs. The pigs become more like the humans they rebelled against, exploiting the other animals and living a life of luxury while the other animals suffer. The character of Napoleon, the main pig in the novel, is a perfect example of the corruption of power. He starts off as a charismatic and idealistic leader, promising everyone a better life. However, as he gains more power, he becomes increasingly tyrannical and oppressive. He uses fear and violence to maintain control over the other animals, and anyone who opposes him is either silenced or eliminated. This is a stark reminder of how power can corrupt even the most well-intentioned individuals.Another theme that I found interesting in Animal Farm is the idea of the working class being exploited by the ruling class. The animals on the farm, who represent the working class, are initially led to believe that they are better off without humans and that all animals are equal. However, as the story progresses, it becomes clear that the pigs, who represent the ruling class, are exploiting the other animals for their own benefit. The pigs live a life of luxury while the other animals struggle to survive. This mirrors real-life situations where the ruling class exploits the working class for their own gain.In addition to exploring themes of power and exploitation, Animal Farm also raises important questions about the nature of leadership and the role of propaganda in maintaining control. The pigs, led by Napoleon, use propaganda and manipulation to control the other animals and justify their actions. They rewrite history, change the commandments, and spread lies to confuse and control the other animals. This highlights the power of propaganda in shaping public opinion and maintaining control over a population. Overall, Animal Farm is a thought-provoking novel that uses animal allegory to explore themes of power, corruption, and exploitation. It serves as a critique of totalitarianism and a warning about the dangers of unchecked power. The novel is a reminder that power corrupts and that it is important to question authority and challenge those in power. Animal Farm is a powerful and relevant novel that continues to resonate with readers today.。

AnimalFarm英文读后感

AnimalFarm英文读后感第一篇:Animal Farm英文读后感Animal FarmAnimal Farm is a novel by George Orwell, published in 1946。

Fueled by Orwell's intense disillusionment with Soviet Communism, Animal Farm is a nearly perfect piece of writing, both an engaging story and an allegory that actually works. After reading Animal Farm, I was surprised to find the shining talent of the author.I have to recognize that George Orwell’s word is so sharp and his view is so original. His vision of politic is so keen that it straight leads this book to success. The book tells us a fable which is worth thinking over and over again. The animals had strong dissatisfaction with the famers so under the lead of the pigs, though the revolution, they drove the original owner Jones away.Napoleon and Snowball ecame the core leadership. They reformed their leading mechanism in order to cash their promise that “All animals are equal!”At first, they indeed had some wonderful days. They lived equally and happily. However, the peaceful days didn’t last long. The contradiction between leaders became sharper and sharper. After a series of politics changes, the animal farm could find their animalism back. The saying all the animals are equal, but some are even more equal.Animal’s life became harder. But as the result of their blind worship of Napoleon, they couldn’t think calmly. All they knew was to work harder. As you can imagine, the ending of animal farm is obvious…In my opinion, the book’s art value is as significant as its society value. The author criticized the reactionary politics of socialism countries.Though living in a socialism country, I have torecognize that some socialism countries have their disadvantages indeed.Take Russia for example, th ere’s no doubt that the unequal things were always happened and most of the people had expected Si Dalin a lot in Russia. As a result, they forget their original intention of revolution. No one can deny that it was the sadness of a whole people.Politic is an abstruse problem for us students to talk. However this book makes the complicated question into a simple fable. It is really a successful and meaningful work!In a word ,I love this book!第二篇:英文读后感篇一:老人与海英文读后感this year summer vacation, i read the american well-known writer hemingway's novel “ old person and fisherman's spirit in life, handles the matter does not fear the difficulty, only then can obtain successfully.篇二:双城记英文读后感After reading “A tale of two cities”“A tale of two cities” is one of Dickens's most important representative works. The novel profoundly exposed the society contradiction before the French Revolution, intensely attacks the aristocratic social class is dissolute and cruel, and sincerely sympathizes with the depressed classes. The novel also described many magnificent scenes like the revolt people attacked Bastille and so on,which displayed people's great strength. The novel has portrayed many different people.Doctor Manette is honest and kind but suffers the persecution actually,Lucie is beautiful and gentle,Charles is graceful and noble,Lorry is upright andhonest,Sydney is semblance of indifferent, innermost feelings of warm, unconventional but also selfless and lofty,Miss pross is straightforward and loyal,Evremonde brothers are cruel and sinister……The complex hatred is hard to solve, the cruel revenge has made more hatreds, loves rebirth in the hell edge, but take the life as the price. As an outstanding writer,in Dickens's work, the language skill is essential. Each kind of rhetoric technique, like the analogy, the exaggeration, the contrast, the humorous, and the taunt are handled skillfully, and the artistry of the work is also delivered the peak.“A tale of two cities” has its difference with the general historical novel, its character and the main plot are all fictionalizes. With the broad real background of the French Revolution, the author take the fictional character Doctor Manette's experience as the main clue, interweaves the unjust charge, love and revenge three independences but also incident cross-correlation stories together, the plot is criss-crossed,and the clue is complex. The author use insert narrates, foreshadowing, upholstery and so many techniques, causes the structure integrity and strictness, the plot winding anxious and rich of theatrical nature,it displayed the remarkable artistic skill.the style “A tale of two cities” is solemnity and melancholy, fills indignantion, but lacks the humor of the early works.篇三:飘英文读后感Scarlett , a very personality figures, the two mans she love ,neither does she know about. To her, I was compelled to admire, admire her strong and brave, admire her to lay down in the environment, farm workers previously suffered education, admire her to disregard the community to create their own expression of the cause. She is in the whole story, all a person full of fighting will full of vitality.I appreciated most , it is this“ Tomorrow is another day of hers.”.promising forever, full of fighting will , will never give up, never desperate.I think I'm moved by her.So, whenever I meet difficulty, the mood is not good, I will tell oneself : “ Tomorrow is another day.” 'Gone with the Wind' is absolutely a good book that is worth sampling repeatedly, the characters are graceful , the plot rises and falls, exciting boldly and unconstrainedly, though the subjective factor because of the author among them , the appraisal on U.S.A.'s Civil War is not objective and overall, but as to angle of literature, this one fine piece of writing generation definitely absolutely, worth visiting.Title: The Little princeAuthor: Antoine de St-ExuperyMain Characters: The little prince, the pilot, the I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I've review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940.It's the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little prince. As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little prince is no t very complex.“I”,the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612.The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids. On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd.Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousand roses, is overcome with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose is unique in the universe before. At that time a fox appears. The fox, who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word “tame”,becomes his new friend. At the time to sayfarewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique because she is his rose and tamed by him. From that the little prince begins to treasure friendship and be responsible to his rose.At the anniversary day of his descent of the earth, rejecting the pilot's advice, he goes back to his own planet by bite of a snake.“It's too far.I can not carry this body with me.It's too heavy.” he said.He tells his friend, the pilot, he must be responsible for his rose, so he has to go back.At the end the author doesn't tell us the ending directly.Maybe it's more significant for us to imagine, and for more, think over. One of the important characters is the rose.Growing on the planet, she is very beautiful, but her coquetry and vanity suffer the little prince a lot.In spite of they love each other, he soon becomes unhappy. On the time of his departure, he just knows she certainly loves him.The character of the little prince actually represents the children, and their native thoughts and deeds. On the contrary, the inhabitants on the other planets, such as the king, the businessman and the conceited man, they also reflect the defects in the grown-up's world. The real theme of this fairy-tale with a little sadness, I guess, is the consequence of pure love and friendship in our lives, but not others “matters of consequence” of the grown-ups.Unbelievable, this little book moved me a lot.I seldom think about the true meaning of love and life before.Well, now I can say, with my short sixteen-year's life experience, it's like the stars in the sky that lit my heart. The little prince is not only an ordinary fairy-tale for children, but also for grown-ups, and our teenagers.Nevertheless, when I read this book, I feel a little sad –about ourselves, whom are losing more and more innocence.篇五:傲慢与偏见英文读后感The feeling of 《pride And 动物庄园英文读后感_读后感_模板篇一:动物庄园英文读后感Animal farm is the first book I choose to read among the list of BBC Top 100 Novels. The book has aroused strong reaction and became famous since the date it was published. It reveals human reality by telling animals’ story in funny but extremely ironic way.The story begins with a meeting held in one night by the animals in farm. Because of the great dissatisfaction of their owner, animals decide to have a revolution, chasing away the farmers and realize the equ ality among animals. They make definitions about “friends” and “enemy”,elect the leader- an old pig, who died soon after the meeting and is taken place by two other pigs named “Snowball” and “Napoleon”,and enacted Seven Commandments. The days at the begi nning are harmonious. But soon there’s a split between two leaders- Snowball is declared enemy of the revolution. What’s worse, leader pigs abuse their powers and gain benefits for themselves, becoming exploiters as human. It seems ridiculous for animals to have a revolution and for pigs to govern the farm. But when we put it into human’s society, the story makes sense. In fact it reflects on the revolution happened in Soviet in 20th century. Animalism is similar to Socialism, which emphasizes equality a lot, but actually inequality at all. Extreme equality is tend to get into an embarrassing situation like “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” Napoleon is also the reflection of Soviet’s leader Si Dalin, who was famous for his arbitrariness and toughness in the history and expelled Trotsky (Snowball reflects on Trotsky)。

George Orwell's "Animal Farm" is a masterpiece that delves deep into the human condition, exploring themes of power, corruption, and the cyclical nature of revolution. Through the allegorical depiction of animals taking over a farm and establishing their own governance, Orwell provides a sharp critique of totalitarian regimes and the dangers of unchecked power. The story serves as a warning against the manipulation of ideals for personal gain and the erosion of democratic values. The novel begins with the animals of Manor Farm overthrowing their oppressive human master, Mr. Jones. Led by the pigs, notably Snowball and Napoleon, the animals establish a set of commandments based on principles of equality and fraternity. Initially, the farm prospers under the new leadership, and it appears as though the animalshave achieved the utopia they envisioned. However, as time progresses, the pigs, especially Napoleon, begin to consolidate power and betray the very principles they once advocated for. Through cunning propaganda and the rewriting of history, Napoleon manipulates the other animals, slowly transforming the farm into a dictatorship under his rule. The once democratic and egalitarian society devolves into a hierarchy where the pigs reign supreme, exploiting the other animals for their own benefit.Orwell's portrayal of the pigs' ascent to power mirrors the rise of totalitarian regimes throughout history. The corruption and moral decay that ensue serve as a cautionary tale, illustrating the dangers of apathy and the importance of vigilance in preserving democracy. The manipulation of language and the distortion of truth by the pigs highlight the ease with which authoritarian leaders can deceive and control a populace, stifling dissent and fostering aculture of fear. Moreover, "Animal Farm" underscores the inevitability of revolutions being co-opted by those hungry for power. The pigs' betrayal of their fellow animals and the establishment of a tyrannical regime expose thevulnerability of revolutions to corruption from within. Orwell suggests that without constant scrutiny and a commitment to democratic principles, revolutions can easily devolve into new forms of oppression, perpetuating a cycle of tyranny and injustice. The character of Boxer, the loyal and hardworking cart-horse, symbolizes the exploited proletariat who are deceived by those in power. Despite his unwavering dedication to the farm and the pigs' cause, Boxer is ultimately betrayed and sent to his death when he becomes too old to work. His tragic fate serves as a poignant reminder of the disposable nature of individuals in totalitarian societies, where human life is valued solely for its utility. In conclusion, "Animal Farm" is a powerful critique of the pitfalls of revolution and the corrupting influence ofpower. Orwell's insightful allegory resonates with readers across generations, challenging us to remain vigilant against the erosion of democratic values and the manipulation of truth by those in authority. The novel serves as a stark reminder of the fragility of freedom and the constant struggle required to preserve it. As Orwell aptly puts it, "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."。

动物庄园读后感英文

动物庄园读后感英文"Animal Farm: A ThoughtProvoking Reflection""Animal Farm" by George Orwell is a remarkable novel that offers profound insights into power, corruption, and the manipulation of the masses This story, presented in a seemingly simple form of an animal rebellion on a farm, holds within it complex and disturbing truths about human society The book begins with the animals on Manor Farm, tired of the tyranny of Mr Jones, their human owner Led by the pigs, they stage a successful revolution and establish a society where all animals are supposed to be equal The initial enthusiasm and hope among the animals are palpable; they believe they have taken control of their destiny and will live in a fair and just world However, as time passes, the pigs, especially Napoleon, gradually assume more power and start to corrupt the very principles they once fought forOne of the most striking aspects of the novel is the way Orwell shows how power can corrupt even those who start with the best of intentions The pigs, who were once seen as the leaders of the revolution and the defenders of animal rights, slowly become indistinguishable from the humans they overthrew They start to walk on two legs, wear human clothes, and live in comfort while the other animals continue to toil and suffer This transformation is a powerful commentary on how those in power often lose sight of their original goals and become consumed by their own greed and lust for controlThe character of Napoleon is particularly fascinating He uses propaganda, fear, and manipulation to maintain his grip on power He silences dissenting voices, rewrites history to suit his agenda, and creates a cult of personality around himself This portrayal is a stark reminder of how dictators and authoritarian leaders throughout history have employed similar tactics to subjugate their peopleAnother important theme in "Animal Farm" is the naivete and gullibility of the masses The other animals, despite their initial hopes and dreams, are easily misled and controlled by the pigs They lack the critical thinking skills and the awareness needed to see through the lies and deception This is a sad reflection on how people often fail to question those in authority and are willing to accept the status quo, even when it is clearly unjustThe use of animals as characters in the story is a brilliant device It allows Orwell to present his ideas in a way that is both accessible and universal The animals' simple desires for freedom and equality resonate with readers of all ages and backgrounds Moreover, it makes the corruption and injustice that occur all the more jarring, as it contrasts sharply with the purity of the animals' original intentionsThe language in "Animal Farm" is simple yet highly effective Orwell's prose is straightforward, but it packs a punch He uses vivid descriptions and powerful imagery to bring the farm and its inhabitants to life The scenes of the animals' hard work, the battles for power among the pigs, and the eventual decline of the farm are all depicted with great clarity and emotional depthIn conclusion, "Animal Farm" is not just a story about animals on a farm; it is a cautionary tale for humanity It warns us of the dangers of unchecked power, the importance of critical thinking, and the need to remain vigilant against those who would seek to exploit and oppress This novel is a timeless masterpiece that continues to be relevant in today's world, where issues of power, corruption, and social justice are still very much at the forefront of our collective consciousness It is a mustread for anyone who wants to understand the workings of society and the human condition。

动物农场读后感英语

动物农场读后感英语Animal Farm: A Critique of Totalitarianism.George Orwell's allegorical novella, Animal Farm, presents a biting satire of totalitarianism, drawing parallels between the Russian Revolution and an animal rebellion on a fictional farm. The author's astute observations and skillful storytelling create a thought-provoking and enduring work of literature.Orwell meticulously exposes the mechanisms of totalitarian control through the characters and events of the farm. The pigs, initially portrayed as symbols of rebellion and equality, gradually morph into oppressive leaders who exploit and deceive the other animals. The pigs' manipulation of language and history, their use of propaganda, and their resort to violence are all classic tactics of authoritarian regimes. The gradual erosion of freedom and the suppression ofdissent are also central themes in the novel. The pigs manipulate elections, silence opposition, and rewritehistory to maintain their power. The animals, initiallyfilled with hope and optimism, become disillusioned and apathetic, their dreams of a just society fading away.Symbolism is a powerful tool employed by Orwell. The farm itself represents the Soviet Union, while the pigs symbolize the ruling elite. The windmill, a symbol of progress and modernization, becomes a source ofexploitation and misery. The characters of Old Major, the idealistic pig who starts the rebellion, and Boxer, the hardworking horse who endures hardships with unwavering loyalty, represent the lost promise of the revolution and the suffering of the masses.Animal Farm transcends its historical context to offera timeless critique of totalitarianism and its consequences. The novel serves as a reminder of the dangers of unchecked power, the importance of vigilance, and the need to resist oppression in all its forms.中文回答:《动物庄园》后感。

动物庄园英语读后感300字

动物庄园英语读后感300字Animal Farm: A Reflection.George Orwell's "Animal Farm" is a profound political satire that explores the themes of revolution, power, corruption, and the loss of idealism. Set in a rural England where animals overthrow their human masters, the story seems innocent at first, a celebration of theanimals' freedom from oppression. However, as the narrative progresses, it becomes increasingly apparent that freedomis not as simple as it seems. The animals, led by pigs such as Snowball and Napoleon, rise up against their human masters, inspired by the idea of a utopian society where animals will live in harmony, free from hunger and exploitation. The Seven Commandments, which govern the new society, seem like a noble attempt to ensure fairness and equality. However, as the animals begin to settle into their new lives, cracks start to appear.Snowball and Napoleon's differing visions for thefuture of the farm lead to a split within the animal community. Snowball, the more radical of the two, wants to expand the farm, improve production, and share the wealth more evenly. Napoleon, on the other hand, is more cautious and concerned with maintaining control. This divide within the leadership eventually leads to Snowball's expulsion from the farm, and Napoleon's consolidation of power. As Napoleon's grip on the farm tightens, the animals start to notice changes. The Seven Commandments are gradually rewritten and reinterpreted to suit Napoleon's needs. The animals' original ideals of freedom and equality are eroded, and life on the farm becomes increasingly oppressive. This is particularly evident in the animals' treatment of Beast, a horse who challenges Napoleon's authority. Beast's tragic end serves as a warning to the other animals of the consequences of rebellion. What makes "Animal Farm" so compelling is Orwell's ability to draw parallels between the animals' society and human society. The farm animals' revolution echoes real-world revolutions throughout history, where initial ideals of freedom and equality are often sacrificed for the preservation of power. Orwell's subtle humor and irony add depth to the narrative, making it both entertaining and thought-provoking.The ending of the novel is particularly poignant. As the animals look back on the past, they remember the promise of a utopian society but are now resigned to a life of hard labor and oppression. The farm has become a parody of its original ideals, a bleak reminder of the fragility of revolution and the dangers of unchecked power. In conclusion, "Animal Farm" is a timeless tale that speaks to the永恒的重要性 of maintaining vigilance against the erosion of freedom and equality. It serves as a warning against the abuse of power and a reminder of the need for constant vigilance in safeguarding our freedoms. Orwell's masterful storytelling and profound insights into the nature of power and corruption make this novel a must-read for anyone interested in social and political issues.。

Animalfarm(动物农场)读后感5篇范文第一篇:Animal farm(动物农场)读后感张黎20096179 英语二班Animal farmAnimal farm is a novel which satires the revolution of Soviet Union. In the novel, the author use vivid words to depict the insurgence in manor farm and the process from original peace and happiness to a serious class society. After reading this novel, I think the rebellion of animals symbolizes the revolution of Soviet Union and all the animals in the novel represent the proletariat(无产阶级)human beings represent the bourgeoisie (资产阶级).the success of these animals is the symbol of success of proletariat in soviet. At the end of the story, the pigs dominated the farm and the farm ultimately becomes a autocratic class society, which actually satires the corruption of the governors in soviet and their life in the farm after the revolution.Their plan of moving toward socialism and communism is totally a lie.On the contrary, under their autocratic governance, the poor workers live a poorer life just like the novel said: the animals in animal farm had no enough food and freedom. And they must work even much longer than the time of Jones. So, the so-called socialism of soviet has not only advantages, but also has its disadvantages. In this novel, there are several typical characters. The first one is the pig “Napoleon”, personally, he is a selfish, greedy and ambitious pig,he can not endure snowball to share power with him, and so he expelled and opposed him with every ways.He also killed other animals who opposed and did not support him with the excuse that they had secret contact with their betrayer “snowball”.But it's obviouslyfeigned捏造by him.The snowball, uttered a high-pitched whimper of a kind no one had ever heart him utter b efore.“ and ”the other animals noticed that they wagged their tails to napoleon in the same way as the other dogs had used to do to Mr.Jones.“ vividly depict his haughtiness and intensive ambitiousness, it also reflects napoleon's bourgeoisie's look and th e slavishness of those dogs. What's more, the sentence “he pissed the blue print of snowball's plan for windmill.” also describes his rudeness and crankiness狂妄.Napoleon and other pigs are lazy and greedy, they think themselves are more noble and distinguished than other animals, and they have priorities for everything. So they do not work but just enjoy other animals’ labor fruits. But actually, they are not only noble, but even more inferior to other animals. They sleep on human's bed, drink human's wine, wear human's clothing, and walk with two legs like human, trade with human beings, which all violate the seven commandments they came up with to forbid everything related to human beings. The most ridiculous thing is that they said“ they never want to fight aga inst human and all the past things are just misunderstandings. They said human are their enemy, but now, theyeven became friends, they are absolutely hypocrites.Besides, this paragraph “twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. The creatures outside look from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again;but already it was impossible to say which was which.” also intensively satires the pigs' filthy looks. The second one is the horse “boxer”, he is doubtless not only a loyal horse, but also an ignorant and blind horse. He just slavishly followed his leader but almost never asked why no matter what his leader did.His maxims are “I'll workharder ”and “napoleon is always right”, so he always worked hard from morning to night, always at the spot where the work was hardest. And until his retirement, he still worked as youth;ultimately, he worked to death without enjoying any happiness and getting any payment. But at this time, the leader he always respect had already decided to sold him to butchery for money. We can say, his fate is pitiful and woeful, but his benighted personality already decided his lamentable ending. The third one is the old donkey“ Benjamin”, actually, he is a wise and sensible donkey, although he never expressed any opinion about the life now and in the time of Mr.Jones, he was aware of everything. He knew that he was not able to resist napoleon and his followers by himself, so he just usually did what he should do and kept silence because he understand that this is the only way to protect himself. The last one is another pig“ squealer”, he is totally a flunky of napoleon. He is a excellent speaker, when he was explaining a difficult problem, he was always skipping from side to side and whisking his tail which was somehow very persuasive.Every time when napoleon did something opposed seven commandments, he would always have his reasons to convince other animals that napoleon was right and all what he did were totally for them. His every action and word is disgusting and ridiculous, and he is a absolutely slave and flunky. In my opinion, this novel is very good, the plot is very attractive and impressive, after reading this story, i think, everyone will be angry with those pigs and feel shocked and ridiculous about their change from victim to persecutor and exploiter.第二篇:动物农场读后感《动物农场》读书报告姓名:班级: 动物农场的英文读书报告animalfarm第一篇:动物农场的英文读书报告animal farmSoEReadingBook ReportCrystal Animal Farmstudent number: 1120113509 By: George OrwellDecember 3,2012The story happened in Mr.Jones’s Manor farm. The animals worked for the farm day and night. One night, a pig Old Major told the animals what he had dreamed. Then the animals realize that they were leading a miserable life and they were exploited by human being.Old Major encouraged them to get rid of man and the produce of their labor would be their ter, the battle really happened and Mr.Jones run away. They established “Animal Farm” and put forward “Seven Commandments”.At the beginning of “Animal Farm”, all animals were equal. It was a ne w life.Every animal bore hardship and work hard for a better life. However, the leaders--pigs took advantage of new system to benefit themselves. They slept on the bed and drunk milk. The two leaders-Snowball and Napoleon wanted to be the only leader.Snowball was driven out because Napoleon let some fierce dog to chase him.And then Napoleon declared Snowball was spy and the enemy of Animal Farm.In the past, Snowball put forward to build windmill and Napoleon push others to build it since Snowball’s departure.T hough it was wrecked twice but it finally was accomplished through years of hard work.As time went by, pigs1became the privileged stratum. They even revised “Seven Commandments” to satisfy their own desire. If animals complained about the ruling of Napoleon, they would be killed cruelly.Animals had no freedom and kept working much laborious work. They had less food but pigs always hadfeast.Animal’s miserable life was just like that in Manor Farm.At last, pigs even walked by two legs and had negotiation with people.Animal’s life did not change at all or maybe more miserable than bined with my knowledge of history, I can sense this book reflect the situation in the Soviet Union.Every animal has its own reflection.Napoleon was just Stalin. He was in charge of the whole country in an autocratic way.He killed those who were not willing to obey his ruling.Snowball was just like Trostsky. When people didn't need him, no one cared about his life though he dedicated his whole life to the country. What's worse, people blamed all evil things and bad results to him.He was the victim of politics.Boxer are those who lived at the bottom of society. They work the most laborious work and eat least. They were exploited everyday until death.Their lives were poor.Old Benjamin reflected those who wanted to save their lives and avoided being killed by not commenting on politics. They were not satisfied about2 the situation but they were reluctant to criticize.I am sure that everyone can see the totalitarianism among pigs. Why is there totalitarianism? I think first it's because of lacking supervision.Without supervision, no matter how heroic and wise he is,he will abuse the power, because complete power is bound to lead to complete corruption.Secondly, people are lazy. They think that there will be heroes leading them to a better life no matter he is Snowball or Napoleon, Stalin or others. They don’t want to take pains and to worry about the future. They all depend on heroes but not rely on themselves. That's totally wrong.Everyone must take responsibility for himself.People can't be so lazy to put all the responsibility and rights to the leader. When you overthrow a leader and uphold another leader, that's not democracy.Depending on leaders would not obtain democracy. The so-called “democracy” rulers give you is autocracy with the skin of democracy. Then I want to say people's patience to tyranny and misrule. This story reflected situation in the Soviet Union. However,we all know, history is always similar.I can also find miniature of China and Chine people at that time.Chinese people have a bad character of tolerating more autocracy, misrule than any Western people. No matter in the ancient time or during Chairman Mao's ruling, people can always tolerate corruption, tyranny and other evil3things.Why can we tolerate so much? Why didn't we criticize politics? Because we lacked legal protection and gurantee for our life.To avoid being killed, we close our mouth just like Benjamin. There is another thing worth mentioning--people's quality.Rulers want the citizen to be foolish. That's Obscurantism. There are some evidence.Boxer only knew some of alphabet and those animals born later even knew none of them.Squealer always said that “you were stupid so that you won't understand how great our plans were.” And then, animals thought they were not clever and they must follow Napoleon.Napoleon destroyed the school built for animals so that they could always stay foolish.Animals doubted that someone had changed “Seven Commandments”.When Squealer said it remained without any change, animals thought their memory were not clear. They didn't have their own thoughts and judgement.Rulers hope citizen are ignorant so they won't have advanced ideas to fight against their rule.No matter in China or in western countries, there were always rulers killing intellectual because they didn't want to see any potential threatening.Though rulers don’t want citizen to be well-educated, people must improve themselves or they can’t protect their own st I want to say something about Snowball.I suppose he was a good leader. At least he put forward to build windmill and he4got hurt during the battle against human being. It's just like Trostsky put forward to develop industry to enter modernization in Soviet Union. He devoted his whole life to the country but had a bad result.People blame all evil things to him.I think it's unfair.People must take responsibility for themselves and should not put all the rights and obligation to the leader.Faced with the results of the World War II, German did not only blame on Hitler. All the Germen rethought profoundly for their evil behaviors. As for the Iraq war, we can't only blame on President Bush.At least citizen voted and chose him!.So it's unfair to criticize Snowball. We don't know how he would rule the farm if he did not leave.Maybe he was democratic but without supervision he might also became autocratic. This book is sarcasm to the socialism of Soviet Union, especially those words “every animal is equal but some animals are more equal.” The author criticized autocracy in the Soviet Union.I agree that there are still many shortcomings of current socialistic society in China. There is some corruption but no autocracy. However, I am sure it will make progress because our government attaches great importance to people's education and people have their independent thoughts to analyze and have human rights to comment on politics.I am sure tomorrow will be better.I think if there is one more person to read Orwell’s book, there will be one more guarantee of freedom.6第二篇:动物庄园英文读书报告读书报告——《动物庄园》 ? 内容概要《动物庄园》是一本看似很薄却很有内涵的书,书中的内容看似荒谬却意味很深。

动物庄园英语读后感篇1Animal Farm tells a story that one day the animals overthrow the farmer Mr. Jones, and found their own regime, called Animal Farm They adopt Seven Commandments of Animalism, of which the most important is All animals are equal。

Pigs are the leaders of the operation of the newly start-up farm. Thanks to the right lead of the pigs and selfless and hardworking of all animals, the Animal Farm develops good enough to their demands. However, the leaders separate into two factions soon after. As a result, Snowball is expelled by Napoleon as a betrayer. Although many animals remember that Snowball is a brave leader, they firmly believe they were wrong and Snowball is a bad animal indeed after brainwashing Napoleon offered. What’s more, the Seven Commandments of Animalism had also been changed. Finally, the Animal Farm becomes quite different from what they hope it to be at the beginning. From the novel; I expressively feel the great power of faith. With the faith of Animalism, they finally found their regime, and struggle the equal from humans. And because of the faith, Napoleon can still rule the wretched animals, even though Snowball has gone. In our daily life, faith is indispensable as well. Faith just as flame, guiding us and supporting us when we feel frustrated as well as every time we need power to keep going ahead. When the Animal Farm is in mess, the animals still believe in their faith and Animalism. As to us, this believing is needed.Sometimes we may think we are in a wrong road to our dream, or we lose heart of ourselves, considering we aren"t as well as respect, we need believe. A b faith just likes a protection, and we are protected by it from kinds of difficulties.动物庄园英语读后感篇2Animal farm is the first book I choose to read among the list of BBC Top 100 Novels. The book has aroused strong reaction and became famous since the date it was published. It reveals human reality by telling animals’ story in funny but extremely ironic way.The story begins with a meeting held in one night by the animals in farm. Because of the great dissatisfaction of their owner, animals decide to have a revolution, chasing away the farmers and realize the equality among animals. They make definitions about “friends” and “enemy”, elect the leader- an old pig, who died soon after the meeting and is taken place by two other pigs named “Snowball” and “Napoleon”, and enacted Seven Commandments. The days at the beginning are harmonious. Extreme equality is tend to get into an embarrassing situation like “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” Napoleon is also the reflection of Soviet’sleader Si Dalin, who was famous for his arbitrariness and toughness in the history and expelled Trotsky (Snowball reflects on Trotsky)。

《动物农场》读后感-animal farm

《动物农场》读后感-animal farm

George Orwell’s novel 《Animal Farm》a story about a farm in England. An old pig Major called on animals to fight against the master to live a better life. After Major died, the animals drove away the master and as the cleverest animal in the farm, pigs acted as their leaders. At first, pigs set up their own “Animalism” which showed that every animal was born equal. But later, the most powerful pig Napoleon changed the rule into “Every animal was born to be equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”Apparently, it was unfair and dis obeyed Major’s thoughts, but unfortunately, most animals were thoughtless and fooled by Napoleon. When one of the pig-Snowball suggested setting up school to teach animals, he was driven away by Napoleon’s protectors. Gradually, pigs became more and more greedy and worked with human beings finally. At the end, animals in the fa rm couldn’t distinguish pigs from human. Is it a ridiculous story? Absolutely not, this story was true in our human world. It is a reflection of a country. The theme is interesting, as human beings, where there is pressure, there’s a fight. Only by holding revolution can we gain freedom and equality. However, the real democracy is based on the awareness of the whole country. Every citizen should be greatly educated and has their own thoughts towards their country’s affairs. Or they will be fooled by the person who owns selfish thoughts. In a word, a country must pay more attention to its education so that this country can develop steadily.。

动物农场英语观后感

动物农场英语观后感Well, watching "Animal Farm" was quite an eye-opening experience. The story was told in a simple yet powerful way, really making me think about power and corruption. The animals seemed so hopeful at the beginning, workingtogether for a better life. But then, slowly, things changed. The pigs started to act like humans, and the other animals didn't even notice until it was too late. One thing that struck me was how easy it was for the pigs to manipulate the other animals. They used words and slogans to keep everyone on their side, even when their actions didn't match their words. It reminded me of howeasy it can be to be influenced by powerful people or ideas, even if they're not really in our best interest. The film's animation style was really interesting too.It was kind of old-school, but it worked perfectly for the story. It made the animals seem more real and relatable, even though they were talking and walking on two legs. Thedetails in the backgrounds and character designs were amazing, really adding to the atmosphere.Overall, "Animal Farm" was a great watch. It's a simple story with a deep message.。

动物农场英语观后感作文Animal Farm is a classic novel written by George Orwell. It is a satirical fable that tells the story of a group of farm animals who rebel against their human farmer, hopingto create a society where the animals can be equal, free, and happy. The book is an allegory of the events leading up to the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the early years ofthe Soviet Union. It is a powerful critique oftotalitarianism and a warning against the dangers ofpolitical corruption. The novel begins on a farm called Manor Farm, where the animals are badly treated by their human owner, Mr. Jones. The animals are inspired by a speech given by the pig, Old Major, who tells them that they should rise up againsttheir oppressors and create a better society. After Old Major dies, the pigs, who are the smartest animals on the farm, take charge of the rebellion. They create a newsociety based on the principles of Animalism, which is supposed to ensure equality and freedom for all animals. At first, the revolution is a great success. The animals work hard and are happy to be free from human oppression. However, as time goes by, the pigs become more and more corrupt. They begin to take advantage of their position of power and to oppress the other animals. They change the rules of Animalism to suit their own interests and become more and more like the human oppressors they had overthrown. The novel is a powerful critique of totalitarianism and a warning against the dangers of political corruption. It shows how even the most idealistic of revolutions can be corrupted by power-hungry leaders who are more interested in their own interests than in the welfare of the people they are supposed to serve. The novel is a warning against the dangers of political corruption and a call for people to be vigilant against the abuse of power. In conclusion, Animal Farm is a classic novel that is still relevant today. 动物农场观后感英语作文I visited an animal farm last weekend and it was such a fun experience. The animals were so cute and friendly, especially the baby goats. I couldn't resist petting them and they were so soft and cuddly. The farm had a variety of animals, from chickens and ducks to pigs and cows. It was interesting to see how they all interacted with each other. The chickens were pecking at the ground, the ducks were swimming in the pond, and the pigs were rolling around in the mud. It was like a little animal community. One thing that really surprised me was how much personality each animal had. The goats were playful and mischievous, the cows were gentle and calm, and the pigs were curious and intelligent. It made me realize that animals are so much more than just farm animals, they each have their own unique traits and behaviors.I also got to learn a lot about the daily life on the farm. The farmers were so passionate about taking care of the animals and making sure they were happy and healthy. It was hard work, but you could tell they loved what they did.Overall, visiting the animal farm was a great way to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of farm animals. It was a reminder that animals deserve our respect and care, and that they play an important role in our lives.I can't wait to visit again and spend more time with the adorable animals.。

Of Animal Farm
13070216 高静There is a saying that goes”A good beginning is half done”. Actually ,i don’t know how to begin this essay, because i don’t have any idea of what i am going to talk about. Should the this essay be totally gibberish ,i would beg your forgiveness.
First ,i want to talk something about old Major.Without him ,it is impossible for other animals to come to reason and give rise to rebellion. His remark “Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.Whatever goes upon four legs ,or has wings ,is a friend.” is really incisive. However,i guess ,if Major were to have a chance to see what his juniority Napoleon has done,he would be infuriated and become an angry ghost, then end Napoleon’s ignoble life immediately.
As to Napoleon, well,i should say,it’s the most odious pig that i have met . My anger becomes stronger and stronger as my understanding towards him becomes deeper and deeper. He is that kind of pig who is extremely clever but just wouldn’t use his intelligence correctly. He is that kind of pig who confuses right and wrong. He is that king of pig who couldn’t bear others’ talent. He is perfectly good at speaking one way before animal and doing another way behind animal. He is the quintessence of breaking words. However, there is no denying that he is extremely farsighted. He knows his ambition from the very beginning day that he wants to be the leader, the only leader of the farm. Considering snowball’s intelligence and eloquence,he sees darken hope to be the only leader. His cunning tells him ------He has to resorted extremes. So a pack of swashbuckling dogs who have blind loyalty were fostered.A flock of stupid sheet were cultivated.Frankly speaking ,i am really interested in the end of Napoleon. Never will i be happy should i hear that our great Napoleon dies peacefully in his sweet dream.
In the end ,i want to express my admiration for George Orwell. His vivid and vigorous descriptions really impress me a lot.And i want to share my favorite sentences with you:
1.One day, however,he arrived unexpectedly to examine the plans,He walked
heavily around the shed, looked closely at every detail of the plans and snuffed at them once or twice, then stood for a little while contemplating them out of the corner of his eyes;then suddenly he lifted his legs ,urinated over the plans ,and walked out without uttering a word.(ME:What a jerk!)
2.But just at this moment Napoleon stood up and ,casting a peculiar sidelong look at Snowball ,uttered a high-pitched whimper of a kind no one had ever heard him utter before.(To tell you the truth,i was really amused by that “peculiar sidelong look.”)。
