学习会要举行演讲比赛,写一篇组织比赛的英语竞赛

建议书

In order to improve the students' spoken English and develop the public speaking skills, I hope an English speaking contest could be held by the School Students' Union，whose theme could be“a word that has changed the world” or whatever.

The judge of the speech contest can be five teachers of the Foreign Language School and our favorite foreign teacher Mr. Smith. Each contestant has only three minutes to give a speech, including self-introduction and a speech on the theme of the speech contest. When the contest is completely over, one first prize, three second prizes and five third prizes will be given to the excellent speakers. Anyone of us willing to take part in the contest can go to the monitor and sign our name for it. Students of all majors should be welcome to take part in the speech contest.

I sincerely hope my suggestion can be adopted.
