Weighing the advantages and disadvantages, I decide to take the North University as my top choice.

First of all, I know many students put the South University on the top of their priority list. As an average student, I have to avoid competing against them. On the contrary, the North University’s extra offer of 20 marks really widens my chance of admission. Besides, with the North University’s low tuition, I can reduce my parents’ financial burden and focus more attention on studying. Moreover, the North University will probably provide me with opportunities of having my favorite sports—skiing and skating. As you know personal interest also plays an important role in one’s decision making.

With much hard work and a wise decision I am able to smooth the path to the goal.
