英语作文初一下册第三单元范文可用句型全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1English Composition Grade 7 Semester 2 Unit 3 Sample Essay with Useful Sentence PatternsHi there! My name is Lucy and I'm a 10-year-old student. Today, I'm going to write an essay about my summer vacation last year. It was super fun and exciting! I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures.Last summer, my family and I went on a trip to the beach. We drove for three hours to get to the seaside town. On the way there, I looked out the window and saw lots of trees, hills and farms. "Are we there yet?" I kept asking my parents every few minutes. I was so eager to get to the beach! When we finally arrived, the first thing I noticed was the bright blue sky and the warm sunshine. The weather was perfect for swimming and playing in the sand. Our hotel room had a nice view of the ocean too. I could see the waves crashing against the shore from our balcony. "This is going to be the best vacation ever!" I shouted excitedly. The very next day, we went to the beach bright and early. I built the most amazing sandcastle with my little brother. We used buckets, shovels and shells to decorate it. It looked just like a real castle from a fairy tale book! While we played in the sand, our parents relaxed on beach towels under big umbrellas. They read books and sipped cold drinks. In the afternoon, we all went swimming in the ocean. The water was a little chilly at first, but I got used to it quickly. I could float and splash around with my arm floaties on. My dad taught me how to boogie board too. We had so much fun riding the small waves together! When we got tired, we laid on the warm sand to dry off in the sun.Every night after dinner, our family would take a walk along the beach boardwalk. There were lots of fun shops, restaurants, and games to see and do. One evening, we stopped to watch a street performer juggling. He could toss balls, pins, and rings up in the air and catch them without dropping anything! It was an amazing show. On another night, we went mini golfing at a course filled with windmills, castles and water hazards. I got a hole-in-one which was super exciting!Towards the end of our vacation, we visited the local aquarium. I was able to see dolphins, sharks, sea turtles and somany colorful fish up close. They had tunnels you could walk through with the marine animals swimming all around you. It felt like I was underwater with them! In the touch tank area, I even got to gently pet a sting ray. Its skin felt soft and slimy. On our last day at the beach, I didn't want to leave. I had made so many wonderful memories. Building sandcastles, splashing in the waves, walking the boardwalk at night, and seeing all the cool sea creatures. Summer vacation was my favorite time of year. I couldn't wait to go back to the beach again next summer! Those are some of the fun things I did during my vacation last year. I tried to use some good sentence patterns that we learned in English class too. Things like using time expressions at the start of sentences, combining short sentences together, and adding descriptive details. Writing an essay is great practice for school. Hopefully you enjoyed reading about my beach trip adventures! Let me know if you have any other questions.篇2My Awesome Summer VacationSummer vacation is the best time of the year! Last summer, I had so much fun. I got to do all my favorite things and make lots of great memories.First of all, I went to summer camp for two whole weeks! Summer camp is awesome. You get to do really cool activities like swimming, canoeing, archery, hiking, and making crafts. My favorite activity was definitely the ropes course. It was kind of scary climbing up so high, but I felt like a brave adventurer! I made some new friends at camp too. We had so many laughs around the campfire at night. Then, my family went on a road trip to the beach for a whole week. I love the beach so much. We stayed in a big house right by the ocean. Every morning, I could run outside and feel the warm sand between my toes. I spent hours playing in the waves and hunting for seashells. My little brother and I had a contest to see who could find the most beautiful shell. I think I won!One day, we went on a dolphin watching cruise. A huge pod of dolphins started swimming along with the boat! They were jumping out of the water and doing flips. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen. We also went mini golfing one night. The course had all these crazy obstacles with windmills and loop-the-loops.Mini golf is way harder than it looks! My dad and I worked together as a team and we actually won. When we got home from the beach, we had a big party at my house for the 4th of July. All my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents came over. We grilled hot dogs and hamburgers in the backyard. While we were eating, the ice cream truck came down our street. I got a banana split piled high with whipped cream, sprinkles, nuts, and a cherry on top. Yum! Later that night, we had a big fireworks show right in our neighborhood. The fireworks were so bright and colorful exploding in the sky. It was breathtaking.A few days after that, my best friend came over for a sleepover party. We made about a million friendship bracelets for each other. Hers had a rainbow pattern and mine had a peace sign. We ordered pizzas for dinner and had an epic dance party in my basement. We also had a silly string fight until we were both completely covered in neon goo! Sleepovers with your besties are just the best.Towards the end of summer, I went to soccer camp for a week to get ready for tryouts. We did drills and scrimmages every day, and I learned so many new skills. I got way better atdribbling through cones. I can't wait to show off my new moves this season! On the last week before school started, we took our annual family trip to the lake house. I love the lake house so much. We went tubing behind the boat and tried to see who could hold on the longest. My uncle Jeremy is crazy - he was doing flips and tricks while holding on! We also had a massive water balloon fight on the dock. I got totally soaked but it was awesome. In the evenings, we would have bonfires and make s'mores. I probably ate about a million s'mores that week. We told scary stories around the campfire too. My little cousin got so scared during one story that she started crying! On the last night, we watched a meteor shower. My dad pointed out all the different constellations too. I saw about twenty shooting stars before I dozed off under the brilliant night sky. What an incredible way to wrap up my summer!School has started up again now, but I'm not even sad about it. Summer gave me enough amazing memories to last until next year. Between sleep away camp, the beach, holidays, sleepovers, sports camps, and the lake house, it was the funnest summer ever. I can't wait to make more awesome memories next summer!篇3My Summer VacationWow, what an amazing summer vacation I had! I did so many fun things. Let me tell you all about it.First of all, my family went on a trip to the beach. We drove for a really long time to get there. I asked my mom "Are we there yet?" about a million times on the drive! When we finally arrived, I was so excited. The beach was beautiful, with soft golden sand and sparkling blue-green water. I loved playing in the waves and trying to bodysurf. My dad helped me build the most awesome sandcastle. It was huge! We had a picnic lunch on the beach and I got to eat my favorite foods like sandwiches and watermelon. After a few days at the beach, we went to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins who live on a farm. That was a new experience for me living in the city. It was fun feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs they laid. My aunt showed me how to milk the cow. The cow's name was Bessie and she was pretty friendly. I got to ride a horse named Cinnamon. She was gentle and didn't go too fast. My cousins and I ran around playing hide-and-seek in the barn and hay loft. We had a picnic by the pond and wentswimming there too. The water was kind of muddy and dirty compared to the beach, but we didn't mind getting messy. When we got back home from the farm visit, there was a summer camp I went to for two weeks. At day camp, we went on nature hikes, had arts and crafts time, played all kinds of sports and games, and did science experiments. My favorite activities were archery, where I got to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow safely, and rock climbing on the outdoor climbing wall. I was a little scared of heights at first but ended up loving rock climbing!I also tried new foods like sushi for our "international cuisines" day at camp. The last day of camp we had a talent show and I played the piano.I also got to have sleepovers with my best friends over the summer. We loved having movie marathons, making prank calls (but don't worry, we didn't say anything mean!), eating tons of junk food, and staying up most of the night giggling about silly jokes. Sleepovers are just the best.My dad took me fishing at a lake for the first time too. I was surprised at how patient you have to be while fishing. We had to sit really still and quiet in the little rowboat for a long time before I finally caught my first fish! It was a tiny sunfish but I was still soproud. We took a photo and then let it go swimming again. Fishing was more fun than I expected. For my birthday in July, my parents took me and some friends to an amusement park. We rode tons of crazy rollercoasters that made me scream from the loops and drops. I loved the fastest coaster called the Viper, even though my stomach felt a little funny afterwards! We also went on gentler rides in the kiddie section, and played games to try to win prizes.I won a huge stuffed panda bear that was as big as me!Those are the highlights of my amazing, jam-packed summer vacation. I got to travel, try new activities, spend quality time with family and friends, and make so many wonderful memories. I feel well-rested and ready to start a new school year.I can't wait to share more stories from summer break when I see my classmates again. Even though I'll miss the vacation fun, I'm also excited to learn new things. This was definitely one summer I'll never forget!篇4English Writing Unit 3Hey there! It's me again, your favorite first-year middle schooler. Today I wanted to share some thoughts on the thirdunit we just finished in our English writing class. Let me tell you, it was no walk in the park! But I think I've got a pretty good handle on the key sentence patterns we need to know.First up, we learned about the present perfect tense. I used to really struggle with when to use the present perfect instead of just the simple past. But now I've got it down pat! The present perfect is for things that happened in the past, but that past event or action is still connected to the present in some way.For example, I could say "I have written three essays this week." The writing happened in the past, but I'm still talking about it in the present because the week isn't over yet. Or if my mom asks me if I've brushed my teeth yet today, I'd say "Yes, I have brushed my teeth." See? Still connected to the present day.To form the present perfect, you use "have" or "has" plus the past participle of the verb. Like "have gone", "has visited", "have played" and so on. Super simple once you get the hang of it!Next up are perfect modals. These are phrases like "must have", "could have", "may have", "might have", etc. We use these to make inferences or guesses about something that probably happened in the past based on the evidence we can see.Like if I came home and saw my kid brother covered in mud, I could say "He must have gone playing in the dirt again!" Or if my friend missed our hangout, I might text "You might have overslept!" It's a way to speculate about past events when you don't know the full story. The modals always come before "have", and then you use the past participle like in the present perfect. "Must have forgotten", "Could have missed the bus", and so on. Pretty neat, right? But some of the trickiest ones we learned are the causative verbs – "have", "get", "make". You use these to say that you caused someone else to do something, or that you arranged for something to happen. So I could say "I had my mom make me a snack" or "I got my hair cut last week." It's a way to avoid the passive voice and be more specific about who did what. You can even use "have" twice, like "I had the gardener have the bushes trimmed." Wild, huh?For "get", we use it in the sense of "arranging for someone to do something". Like "I'm going to get my brother to clean the garage." For "make" it's more about forcing someone, as in "My teacher made me rewrite the essay."I know all this causative stuff can get super confusing and convoluted. Sometimes it's just easier to stick to the active voice! But it's still good to know for variety. There are a bunch more patterns we covered too, like cleft sentences, inversion sentences, formulaic phrases and more. But I'll spare you the nitty gritty details. The main thing is getting reps in and practicing with lots of examples.Well, that's my lowdown on the highlights from Unit 3! I tried to give you a taste of some of the key grammar patterns without going too deep into the weeds. Just hitting the high notes, you know? It's a lot to juggle for sure, but I'm feeling more confident about switching between tenses and using morecomplex/nuanced sentence structures. Baby steps! I just have to keep exposing myself to good English models and everything will click eventually.Shout out to my awesome English teacher for making the lessons fun and engaging. And shout out to you for reading my essays! I'll catch you on the flip side for the next unit recap. Until then...peace!篇5Title: My Favorite Sentence PatternsHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 5th grader. Today I want to tell you about some really cool sentence patterns I learned in Unit 3 of my English textbook. At first, I thought learning grammar was going to be super boring. But once I started practicing the new patterns, it was actually kind of fun!The first pattern I learned is the simple present tense. This one is for talking about habits or things that happen regularly. You just use the verb without any extra words. Like "I walk to school every day" or "My mom cooks dinner at night." Easy peasy! But then we learned about the present continuous tense. This one is for talking about something happening right now. You use "is/am/are" plus the verb with "-ing" at the end. For example, "I am studying English grammar right now" or "The birds are singing outside." I like using this pattern to describe what's going on around me.Next up was the simple past tense. We use this for talking about stuff that already happened. Just add "-ed" to regular verbs (or use irregular verb forms for weird ones like "went"). "I played soccer yesterday" or "Last night, my family went to amovie." The past tense is handy for telling stories about past events. Then we moved on to the present perfect tense. I'll be honest, this one was kind of tricky at first! You use "have/has" plus the past participle of the verb. Like "I have learned a lot this year" or "My brother has grown taller." We use this pattern for experiences or changes that started in the past and are still true now.Another biggie was the future tense with "will." Easy as pie - just say "will" before the verb! "I will visit my grandparents next weekend" or "The movie will start at 7 pm." I love using this pattern to talk about my exciting future plans. But my very favorite pattern is questions in the present simple. To make a question, you switch around the subject and verb. Then you can add question words like "what, where, why, how" too. "Do you like ice cream?" or "Why does the sky look so blue today?" I'm always asking my parents a million questions using this form! There are lots more grammar patterns we're learning too, like modals, gerunds, infinitives...Sometimes it makes my head spin! But I'm getting better at using them bit by bit. Practicing the new sentence structures helps me understand English betterand communicate more clearly. Who knew learning grammar could be so useful and kind of fun?Well, that's my essay all about some key grammar patterns. Thanks for reading! I'm off to do my English homework now. But I'll leave you with one last example in the imperative form: Practice your sentence patterns every day!篇6Title: My Fun Adventure Using Cool Sentence Patterns!Hi there! I'm super excited to share with you an awesome adventure I had. It's all about using some really cool sentence patterns from Unit 3 of our English textbook. Get ready for a fun ride!It all started when my teacher, Mr. Johnson, told us we were going to learn some new sentence patterns. At first, I was like, "Ugh, not again!" But then he said we'd get to use them in a really fun way. My ears perked up, and I couldn't wait to find out more! The first pattern we learned was the "If... will" structure. Mr. Johnson explained that we could use it to talk about futurepossibilities. For example, "If it rains tomorrow, I will stay inside and play video games." Neat, right?Next up was the "Unless... won't" pattern. This one is kind of like the opposite of "If... will." It talks about what won't happen unless a certain condition is met. Like, "Unless I finish my homework, I won't be allowed to go to the party." Makes sense! Then, we moved on to the "Either... or" structure. This one is super handy when you want to give two options. For instance, "Either we can go to the park or the movies." It's like having to choose between two awesome things! After that, we learned about the "Neither... nor" pattern. This one is kind of like the opposite of "Either... or." It's for when you want to say that neither of two things is happening or true. Like, "Neither my brother nor I like broccoli." Haha, broccoli is gross! The next pattern was "Not only... but also." This one is really cool because you can use it to talk about two (or more) things that are both true or happening. For example, "Not only did I ace my math test, but I also got an A+ on my English essay!" Winning at life! Finally, we covered the "Although... yet" structure. With this one, you can talk about two contrasting ideas or situations. Like,"Although it was raining heavily, we still went out to play." Pretty neat, right?Okay, now for the fun part! Mr. Johnson said we were going to go on a scavenger hunt around the school and use these sentence patterns to describe what we saw and did. I was so pumped! We split up into teams, and my team was the "Awesome Unicorns" (because unicorns are the best, duh). Our first clue led us to the cafeteria. When we got there, we saw the lunch ladies setting up for the day. One of my teammates said, "If they're making pizza today, I will be super happy!" Good use of that "If... will" pattern! Our next clue took us to the library. As we were looking around, my friend Lily said, "Unless we find the next clue soon, we won't be able to finish the scavenger hunt on time." Nice job with "Unless... won't," Lily! After that, we headed to the gym. There were two doors, one leading to the basketball court and one to the rock-climbing wall. Another teammate piped up, "Either we can check the basketball court or the rock-climbing area." Nicely done with "Either... or"!We decided to split up, and my group went to therock-climbing wall. When we got there, we didn't see any clues. One of the boys said, "Neither the rock-climbing wall nor the basketball court has the next clue." Boom! "Neither... nor" for the win!We regrouped and kept searching until we found the next clue outside near the playground. As we were looking around, I noticed the swings and the slide. I exclaimed, "Not only are there swings, but there's also a slide!" Yeah, I rocked that "Not only... but also" sentence! Our last clue led us to the art room. It was kind of messy with paint and supplies everywhere. But one of my friends said, "Although the art room is a bit disorganized, we still need to look for the final clue." Awesome use of "Although... yet"!After a lot of searching, we finally found the final clue hidden behind a big canvas. We solved the puzzle, and our team won the scavenger hunt! We were so happy and celebrated with some yummy ice cream in the cafeteria.Learning those sentence patterns was so much fun, especially when we got to use them in a real-life adventure. I can't wait to keep practicing them and maybe even try makingup my own silly examples. Who knows, maybe I'll become a sentence pattern master!Well, that's my story. I hope you enjoyed tagging along on my exciting quest to use cool sentence patterns from Unit 3. Learning English can be a blast, especially when you mix in some fun activities. Keep practicing, and you'll be speaking like a pro in no time! See ya!。
