六年级下册英语书沪教版第一单元作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Unit 1: An Unforgetable Summer VacationThis summer vacation was definitely one to remember! My family and I went on an amazing trip to Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in northwest China. I had studied a bit about Xinjiang in my geography classes, but actually experiencing the culture, food, and landscapes in person was incredible. Our first stop was the capital city of Urumqi. Urumqi is a modern, vibrant city surrounded by mountains. One of the coolest things we did there was visit the Xinjiang Regional Museum. They had so many fascinating exhibits on the history, culture, and arts of the different ethnic groups in Xinjiang like the Uyghurs, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz and more. My favorite was learning about the ancient Silk Road that ran through this region connecting China to the Middle East and Europe. I saw remnants of pottery, coins, and even some mummies! From Urumqi, we drove south to the city of Turpan, which is located in an oasis valley near the Flaming Mountains. These are huge eroded red sandstone hills that just seem to glow in the desert sunlight. Our tour guide told us that this area has extremely hot summers and cold winters which makes it perfect for growing succulent fruits like grapes, melons, and sweet Xinjiang pears. We stopped at a local vineyard and I tried some Turpan raisins which were plump and delicious.Nearby Turpan, we visited the ancient city ruins of Jiaohe which date back over 2,000 years! Jiaohe was built on a steep plateau and still has intact Buddhist grottoes and residences carved into the cliffs. It felt like stepping back in time as we wandered the narrow alleys and marveled at the ingenious irrigation systems. Our guide mentioned that Jiaohe was an important stop on the Silk Road trading route. After a few days in the desert oasis towns, we headed northwest towards the Heavenly Lake region near the border with Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. This area is part of the Tian Shan mountains and the scenery was just breathtaking with soaring snowy peaks, vast grasslands, sparkling turquoise lakes, and nomadic herders tending to sheep, horses and yaks.We went hiking around the stunning Heavenly Lake whose crystal blue waters reflect the mountains like a perfect mirror. According to local legends, this lake was actually formed from a section of the sky that fell to Earth. While hiking, I tried some traditional Uyghur nan bread and qurut (dried yogurt curds) which the nomadic herders eat. The nan was nice and chewy while the qurut had a tart, salty taste that I ended up liking. One of my favorite parts of the trip was staying overnight in a traditional yurt camp operated by a Kazakh family. A yurt is a circular tent made of wool and wood that nomadic groups use as portable housing. Our yurt was beautifully decorated with bright woven rugs and ornate wood carvings. In the evening, the family prepared a delicious meal of melt-in-your-mouth lamb kebabs, noodles, vegetables and ample hot milk tea. After dinner, they performed ethnic dances and songs around the campfire accompanied by dombra (lute-like instrument) music. I had such an amazing glimpse into their traditional nomadic culture and hospitality. Before returning to Shanghai, we spent a couple days in the Old Town area of Kashgar near the western borders of Xinjiang. This area has remained virtually unchanged over many centuries with its winding mud-brick lanes, lively bazaars, and oldmosques and temples. We wandered through the bustling markets filled with vendors selling spices, teas, textiles, handicrafts and all sorts of exotic items imported from across Central Asia. The aromas of cumin, cinnamon, saffron and other spices filled the air. I bought a small hand-woven Uyghur carpet as a souvenir which I absolutely love.Overall, this trip to Xinjiang gave me such an enriching look into the diverse cultures and traditions of the ethnic minority groups in this region. From the ancient Silk Road historical sites to the breathtaking natural scenery to the wonderful food and hospitality, there was just so much to take in and appreciate. I feel so fortunate to have had this opportunity to travel and learn.I made so many amazing memories that I will cherish forever from this unforgetable Xinjiang summer adventure!篇2Unit 1: My Busy LifeHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 6th grader. In this essay, I'm going to tell you all about Unit 1 in our new English textbook called "My Busy Life". This unit was really interesting and taught me a lot of useful things about daily routines and schedules. The unit started off with a reading passage about a typical day in the life of an American middle school student named Michael. I learned some great vocabulary like "get up", "have breakfast", "get ready for school", and phrases like "catch the bus" and "hang out with friends". Michael's day was pretty similar to mine, except I don't have to catch a school bus since I live close enough to walk. After the reading, we practiced asking and answering questions using the simple present tense, like "What time do you get up?" and "I get up at 7 o'clock." This was good practice for talking about our own daily routines. My favorite time is after school when I can relax, watch TV, or play sports and games with my friends. The next part was about telling time and schedules. We learned how to say times like "9:15 AM" and "3:30 PM" properly. I used to have trouble remembering whether it was "AM" or "PM" sometimes! We also practiced reading and creating schedules using phrases like "first period", "lunch break", and "after school activities". My schedule is pretty packed with classes, extracurriculars, and homework. Then we moved on to the language of frequency words like "always", "usually", "often", "sometimes", and "never". I realized that篇3My Favorite Singer: Taylor SwiftHey there! I'm a 6th grader and I absolutely love music. Ever since I was little, I've been obsessed with singing along to my favorite songs. My friends and I are always sharing new artists and songs we've discovered. One singer who has been a huge part of my life for years now is Taylor Swift. I'm going to tell you all about why she's my favorite!I first discovered Taylor when I was around 8 years old. My older sister was really into her music, especially songs from her earlier country albums like "Fearless" and "Speak Now." At first, I didn't quite get the appeal - a lot of the lyrics were about heartbreak and relationships, which seemed boring to my8-year-old self. But then my sister played her upbeat, catchy songs like "You Belong With Me" and "Love Story" and I was hooked! The melodies were so insanely catchy and fun.As I got a bit older, I started paying more attention to the lyrics of Taylor's songs. That's when I realized her genius as asongwriter. She has this incredible ability to capture all the fun, heartbreaking, romantic, angsty emotions of being a teenager in a way that feels so vividly real. Tracks like "All Too Well" and "Dear John" show her talent for vivid, emotional storytelling about lost love and heartbreak. Meanwhile, songs like "22" and "Shake It Off" perfectly captured the youthful energy and confidence I was trying to cultivate as I hit my teenage years. With every new album cycle, I was in awe of how Taylor kept evolving her sound and writing incredibly profound, vulnerable lyrics about growing up and experiencing life. The pop mastery of "1989," the moody indie vibes of "folklore" and "evermore" during quarantine, the confident self-reinvention of "reputation" and reclaiming her music ownership on "Fearless (Taylor's Version)." No matter what, Taylor's honesty and skill as a lyricist always shines through. But it's not just her brilliant songwriting that makes Taylor my favorite - it's her as a person too. Despite her massive fame and success, she comes across as a total sweet, goofy dork who is also insanely hard-working and passionate about her art. I love how she uses her platform to encourage young people to get involved in politics and causes they care about. Her allyship and support for the LGBTQ+ community is so awesome. And hercommitment to looking out for her diehard fans at every turn - from reasonable ticket pricing to stopping scalpers to calling them on the phone - is truly remarkable.I also super admire how authentic Taylor has been about opening up about her personal struggles, like her battle with an eating disorder and healing from toxic relationships and media harassment. Her candidness and vulnerability makes me feel less alone with the difficulties and insecurities everyone faces growing up. I feel like Taylor's music and persona has been a constant, supportive friend getting me through the ups and downs of childhood and adolescence so far.Taylor is now re-recording her older albums to regain ownership of her master recordings, and I'm so excited for her to keep evolving and blessing us with more great music for years to come. I've been lucky enough to see her live in concert twice already, but I hope to go many more times! At every show, the energy and joy in the crowd is just incredible. It's an amazing feeling being surrounded by thousands of other fans who have been just as impacted by Taylor's art. Getting to sing along to all my favorite tracks with that powerful sound system and light show is always the best night of my life!Until I'm able to attend her next tour, I'll keep jamming to Taylor's discography on repeat and analyzing her masterful lyrics.I make fan playlists for every mood and season. My school friends think I'm a bit obsessive, but they still bop along whenever I play Tay's tunes. Her music just has this universal, infectious appeal!I don't know where I'd be without Taylor's music to inspire and uplift me over the years. She's taught me so much about being a good friend, cultivating self-worth, expressing myself through writing, and never giving up on my dreams. Whenever I'm having a bad day or struggling with internalized misogyny, I remember Taylor's ambition and feminist principles. I remember that we have the power to define our own success and identity beyond society's expectations. Girls can be anything and everything they want!Taylor's songs have been the soundtrack to so many of my childhood memories and formative experiences so far. I have no doubt her lyricism, spirit and guidance will continue shaping me into my teenage years and beyond. Maybe I'll even be lucky enough to meet her in person someday! For now, I'll keep counting down the days until her next album drops. I just know it's going to be incredible.Long story long, Taylor is simply the best. An extraordinarily talented songwriter, an inspiring role model, and a beautiful soul. Thanks for letting me gush about my ultimate fave! I hope I was able to share a little bit of her genius and the reasons why she's so meaningful to me. Keep shining bright, Tay!。
