2、讲解单词,使学生了解其用法并灵活运用。

(1)wallet n. 皮夹,钱袋,钱包复数形式wallets例句:Someone has stolen my wallet。

(2)owner n. 物主,所有者复数形式owners例句:the proud owner of a new car得意洋洋的新汽车的主人(3)except prep. 除······之外例句:We work every day except Sunday。

(7)familiar adj. 熟悉的,见过的例句:The man seemed familiar.这个人看起来面熟。

(8)remember v. 记起,想起例句:Dreamers do not always remember their dreams.做梦的人并不总能记住自己的梦。

(9)conversation n. 会话,交谈。

例句:I had a long conversation with her the other day .前几天我与她做了一次长谈。

(10)surprised adj. 感到惊讶的例句:She looked surprised when I told her .我告诉她时她看起来很惊讶。

(11)describe v. 叙述,描写,说明过去式和过去分词described现在时describing例句:Can you describe him to me?你能向我描述一下他的样子么?二、讲授新课1、听录音跟读课文TEXT A2、小组合作,探讨第一、二段大意。

(1)指名诵读然后齐读第一段。

(2)请各学习小组合作翻译第一段,教师巡回指导。

明确:前几天我在路上走,碰巧看到地上有一个棕色的小钱包。

我捡起来打开看看是否能找到失主的名字。

里面什么都没有,除了一些零钱和一张旧照片,照片上一个妇女和一个小姑娘,小姑娘大约12岁左右。

这个女孩子看起来像是这个妇女的女儿。

我把照片放回钱包,拿着钱包去了警察局。

在警察局我把钱包交给一位警察。

在我离开之前,这个警察记录下了我的名字和地址,可能这个失主会写信感谢我(4)齐读第一、二段3、小组合作,探讨第三段大意。

他们邀请了一个年轻的女士。

这样餐桌上就坐了四个人。

她的样子我好像在哪里见过。

我很确信我们曾经遇见过,但是我想不起来在哪里见过她了。

(4)齐读本段4、小组合作,探讨第四、五段大意。

(1)指名诵读第四、五段(2)请各学习小组合作翻译第四、五段,教师巡回指导(3)师生合作探究明确本段大意明确:不过,聊天当中,这个女士说下午她丢了她的钱包。

我立刻想起来了。

她就是照片上那个小姑娘,尽管她看起来长大了一些。

当我向她描述她的钱包的时候,当然,她很吃惊。

我的叔叔说我们应该立刻去警察局取回钱包。

当那个警察把钱包递过来的时候,他说这真是一件很有趣的事情----我不仅找到了钱包而且找到了失主。

(4)齐读第四、五段三、布置作业第二课时一、温习旧课1、指名诵读TEXT A单词与词组。

二、巩固重点1、讲析重点词汇词组(1)the other +时间名词不久以前的Other表示“不久以前的,以前的”,与定冠词连用。

由the other构成的时间段与只能与过去式连用。

例:the other afternoon/evening/night几天前的下午/晚上/夜里例句:I saw Mary the other day(a few days ago).我前几天看见过玛丽。

(2)happen to发生,碰巧Happen to sth. 表示“发生”的意思,主语只能是事物、事情,绝不能是人例句:Accidents happen most often to those who are careless.事故最容易发生在粗心人身上。

What happened to my bag ?I can not find it anywhere .我的包怎么了?我哪儿都找不到它。

Happen 表示“碰巧,偶然”的意思,主语可以是某人。

例句:I happened to see him yesterday。

昨天我碰巧看到他。

I happened to have driven that sort of car.碰巧我开过那种车。

(3)Except & Besides 除······之外Except prep. 除去,除掉,宾语不包括在内。

例句:All of us passed except John.我们都通过了除了约翰。

(约翰没有通过)He will do anything except lend you money.除了借给你钱,他什么都会做。

(不会借给你钱)Besides prep. 除······之外还有,另外还有,宾语包括在内例句:We have other plans besides this one .除了这个以外,我们还有别的计划。

(包括这个计划在内)All of us passed besides John.除了约翰通过以外,我们也都通过了。

(4)in case 以防,如果例句:I took an umbrella in case it rains.我带了雨伞,以防下雨。

(5)So that 以便;结果*注意:表示“以便,为了”时,that从句必须与情态动词will/can/may/might 等连用,so前面不加逗号。

例句:I am going to make an early start so that I won’t get stuck in the traffic.我要早点动身,以免碰上交通堵塞。

I took my basketball so that I could play at the weekend.我带着篮球,以便能在周末打球。

*注意:表示“结果,因此,于是”时,that从句中不含情态动词或者助词,so之前一般用逗号。

例句:I set out early,so that I got a very good seat.我出发的很早,结果坐到一个好座位。

He got up very late ,so that he missed the bus and was late for work.他起晚了,结果没赶上公交车上班迟到了。

(6)All at once & At once 突然,立即All at once,相当于suddenly,突然,忽然,事情在一瞬间发生例句:All at once ,the lights went out .突然灯熄灭了。

例句:All at once ,she broke into laughter.突然,她大笑起来。

At once,相当于without delay,立刻,马上,行动不拖延,例句:I want her to come to my office at once .我想让她立刻来我的办公室。

例句:You’d better get up ,David ,or you’ll be late for school.你最好马上起床,大卫,否则,你上学会迟到的。

2、请学生用警察的口吻复述这个故事,并写在作业本上。
