一、教材精神
(一)根据素质教育的精神,着眼于学生的全 面发展和长远发展
《牛津小学英语》以学生的发展为宗旨,以提高学生的综 合素质为目标,着重培养学生的学习兴趣、学习自信心、良 好的学习习惯、有效的学习方法和自主学习能力;同时,通 过听、说、读、写等语言实践活动,帮助学生获得良好的语 音基础、初步的语感和用英语进行简单日常交流的能力;发 展学生初步的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新意识;帮 助学生了解世界和中西方文化差异,增强国际意识,培养爱 国主义精神、合作精神和社会公德意识,为他们的终身学习 和发展打下良好的基础。
(一)语言技能
说 1 能在口头表达中做到发音比较清晰、 语调比较达意、节奏比较自然; 2 能运用所学过的日常交际用语,就 比较熟悉的话题进行简单的交流; 3 能在教师的帮助下或在图片、图像 的启发下讲述简单的小故事;

读 1 能读懂教科书中的简短要求和指令; 2 能读懂贺卡、书信等所表达的简单 信息; 3 能读懂简单的小故事和小短文,并 养成按意群阅读的习惯; 4 能正确地比较流利地朗读所学的小 故事和小短文; 5 能诵读并表演所学的歌谣30—40首。
(二)遵照现代语言教学的理念,突出语言 的交际 性和实践性
《牛津小学英语》按“话题—功能—结构—任务”相 结合的体系,设计和安排了大量形式多样、情景真实、语 言自然、趣味性强的语言实践活动,并强调整合优化,突 出整体感悟。教材脉络比较清晰,功能与结构相结合,既 注意培养学生的交际能力,又照顾语言的系统性。这样设 计和安排的目的是,让学生通过体验、实践、参与、合作、 交流和探究等方式,综合运用已学过的语言知识、语言技 能及学习技巧,完成学习任务;同时使教学过程成为师生 之间、学生之间相互交流、相互沟通、相互理解、相互补 充的互动过程,有利于学生活跃思维、展现个性、发展心 智、拓展视野;有利于学生感悟语言,从而逐步形成初步 运用语言进行日常交流的能力。

牛津小学英语3A教材分析

牛津小学英语3A教材分析义务教育阶段的英语课程具有工具性和人文性双重性质,教师如何才能将这双重任务落实在日常的教学活动中呢?一、牛津小学英语的编写指导思想咄咄逼人的知识经济与飞速变化的世界面貌使我们清醒地认识到,国际竞争日益激烈,关键是科学技术的竞争,归根到底是人才的竞争。

有鉴于此,各地组织实施了跨世纪人才培养工程,并把外语教学作为实施这项工程的重要措施之一。

这是知识经济的需要,也是提高综合国力的需要。

教科书源于17世纪中叶的创新,由捷克教育改革家夸美纽斯发明。

我国的教科书虽然在基础知识的扎实方面在世界上居领先地位,但是其多种化以及课程的多样化程度不能令人满意,这是不适应我国各地经济、文化、教育发展不均衡的国情。

为了更好地贯彻新的基础教育课程体系的意图,落实新的基础教育课程体系的各项要求,同时更有效地利用学龄儿童的记忆最佳时期和学习外语的最佳年龄段,2001年省教研室和译林出版社与英国牛津大学出版社签约合作出版小学三年级至六年级英语教材,并于该年九月份的新学期在三年级起始首次投入使用。

这套新教材的编写,完全依照新课程标准,充分体现了新课程标准的基本思想,按“功能--结构”体系编写,采用便于因材施教的板块式结构,考虑面向全体学生,确立了知识与技能、过程与方法、情感态度与价值观三位一体的课程目标,关注课程的实施过程,关注对学生的评价。

教材细致地考虑了与中学的衔接,有利于学生英语水平的不断提高。

今年9月份这套教材的6A将投入使用,到明年2月份即可完成全部教材的编写。

二、本册教材的特点:1、按“功能--结构”体系编写。

功能教学法(Functional Approach):70年代在欧洲兴起的一种外语教学法。

第一,该法认为语言是交际的工具,是为社会全体成员服务的,职业不同,身份不同,对语言的要求也就不同,所谓“三句话不离本行”;因此没有必要学会所有的词汇。

为节省精力,提高功效,它提出目的性教学原则,也就是说用什么就教什么;第二它主张改变重形式而忽略内容的做法,从语言的功能或内容下手,培养学生运用外语的能力,它根据生活实际,把交际中中要表达的意念或思想、感情进行研究和分类,然后教给学生,它反对以语法为纲来安排教学内容,注意到人的社会地位不同,使用的词语和语言也就不同,因此主张语言要得体,符合身份。

1、教材概况4A教材共10个单元,5,10为复习单元,其他8个单元是新授单元,包括了8个话题。

4A对学生语言技能相对于3A3B来说提出了更高的要求。

2、 4A的功能与话题本册教材共包括8个新授单元和2个复习单元,话题涉及“征求意见”、“外出购物”、“寻找物主”、“谈论喜好”、“评价事物”、“询问时间”、“课堂纪律”、“身体状况”等等;教学板块分为“课文(A)”、“单词(B)”、“主要句型(C)”、“课外拓展(D、E)”以及语音训练(F)五大块。

Unit1---Unit6单元以询问,征求意见和查找物品为主线,由此巩固3A,3B中出现的文具用品,动物,生活物品,衣服和交通工具单词。

所以可通过“旧词练新句”的形式,巩固旧词,引出新授内容。

Unit7为数词单元,通过询问时间,在原来20的基础上增加到100,询问时间的范围随之扩大,除此之外还可以用在加减法计算中和购物时的价钱上。

Unit8通过学祈使句,来理解、感受动词在句中的作用。

Unit9 通过问句“What’s the matter?”学习8个和感官有联系的形容词,这些形容词都是在日常生活中使用频率最高的形容词。

3、各板块功能。

我们的教师用书上有对整个学期的“教学内容分析”,其中包括所有要求四会掌握的单词、句型、日常交际用语,以及各板块的的教学功能。
