The school master Dr. Huxtable then turned to the famous detective of the time Sherlock Holmes for help. Realizing how tough and important the case is, Holmes immediately made up his mind to accept the case and followed Dr. Huxtable back to Mackleton by train. As is known to all, vivid depiction is essential to detective stories since it can help the readers understand each figures characteristics and visualize the scenes, thus making the story more authentic and attractive. Therefore, trying to present a “real world”to his readership, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the original “Holmes series”, has skillfully arranged the plots of the whole story from the perspective of Dr. Watson, a character not so specialized in discoveringthe truth hidden behind the enigmatic happenings as Holmes but so loyal to Sherlock Homes as a friend that he always accompanies Holmes wherever he goes. Sherlock Holmes, beyond all doubt, has become a name firmly rooted in peoples memories. Although Dr.Watsons closing The Case Book of Sherlock Holmes in 1927 was a great pity to the readers, the discontinuance of the entire “Holmes series” may have actually added to the legendary stature of Sherlock Holmes.。

Is F. Conan doyle, (1859 ~ 1930), British outstanding spying writer of fiction and playwright. Due to understand the social surrounding, the author make Sherlock Holmes received the case all kinds, the most important is the great detective investigation methods and the end of the case is different, every story perfectly reflect the reality of British society.Sherlock Holmes is a village gentleman's descendant, understands the village custom, also the life in city.Sherlock Holmes who is angular, thin, torpor ,have sharp eyes and hawk-like nose made him added a kind of decisive wary expression. This iconic features cause a lot ofdetective fans crazy worship.Sherlock Holmes bee to havethe astonishing spying ability through unceasingly studyand practice. When his heart have a problems doesn't solve, just a few days, or even a week,he would avidthinking about again, b the situations that he had mastered, and review thequestion from every angle until the facts e to light or convinced the materials are not sufficient. Therefore, each kind of spy that he deal with is logical andreasonable. What's more, his explanation and judgment of all case are rational, cause the question to be easily solved, then causes the case to restore justice."From a drop of water, a logic home can infer may have the Atlantic or NiagaraFalls existence, and does not need to see with my own earsor heard of such. So, the whole life is a huge chain, as long as we see one of the ring, you can know its nature." And this is Sherlock Holmes's deduce analytics.Sherlock Holmes is a bit "strange", he is proficient in anatomy, also is thefirst-class pharmacist, but he never had systematic medical study. He diligently study some science, but the thing isvery mixed and disorderly. And he take cocaine three times a day(taking cocaine, make the person feels pleasure, but loss their displayed energy). He also is so surreal, never easy to talk with somebody something in hisheart, also happy, also a lot of things. When he met the dangerous calm, in a crisis, encounter any difficulty, seems as if nothing had happened, not at all, pack out. Maybe, just because the different features of Sherlock Holmes make his stories more attract readers!Sherlock Holmes is a such person. Although he had bee famous for spyingat that time in England, but he in unceasingly assiduous study. He has specially rented between a small house nearby English Fine arts Museum, the usage of material andthe opportunity research related spying aspect science and the experience, can causehim to melt all sorts to confuse the group case, finally lets the evil bee known inthe world.Since I read the Sherlock Holmes, who has a aquiline noses and angularfigure, wear hunting cap, shoulder with dust coat, smoke with a pipe , I find thecharacter deeply impress me. He face difficulty calmly, his thought is agile, and hiskeen observation and reasonable inference analysis is the key to solve the case. Theauthor Conan Doyle, in writing, there are a lot of psychological activity, bearingchange, dialogue, action describe in details, so that readers see with relish, won't beboring. In psychological activities, the author wrote allhis ideas , don't do onereservation, let a person can't help following the author guess together;A descriptionof the change and expression is fascinating, so that a person's expression as if it's infront of you on; Action details is very carefully, everyone's every move is capturedby the author, not a omissions. This let me know, to writea good article, is little notthe detail description. In the novel of any a court case, almost every case happens isincredible, in the case of developing, and there are a lotof changes, vertiginous. Butwith the analysis of Sherlock Holmes, the story is slowly and clearly. All the things inreason, but at unexpected. Every clue is so natural, smooth, I can't find any flaw. So I'm amazed at the Sherlock Holmes’ ueasoning abi lity. This book is fascinating by not only the vivid story and the soul-stirringstructure, but also a meaning famous saying “every is the diligent person, all had the spirit which never said die.” Sherlock Holmes with his unique career"consultingdetective'', received all kinds ofstrange case. Many official detectives and private detectives would ask for help fromhim if encountering difficulties. And he will try to take them to the correct routeguidance. His work have all kind of social classes, from homicide to theft, althoughsometimes also met with bizarre case, but they are not the came into existence.Although each case is very plicated, but Sherlock Holmes is good at using avariety of knowledge, have attached great importance to the investigation and study, and treat case very enthusiastic, he has extraordinary ability. As Sherlock Holmes said, if you have on hand to master the one thousand case details, so, if you can't explainthe one thousand and first case ,it would so weird. when receive a case,SherlockHolmes will try his best to solve the riddle even if the case is quirky or the killer whowas carried away by the evil stop him and even want to end Sherlock Holmes' life.I admire Sherlock Holmes, I want to learn his those good places. For example, herich knowledge of science, the strict logical reasoning, careful study.Though SherlockHolmes in Britain has bee a detective, but he still continue to study hard, havebeen research aspects of science and experience the detective, his these kind ofindomitable spirits is worth studying. It can help teenagers get notice observation, thinking meticulous good habit.Sherlock Holmes is so charming, when you finish the adventure of SherlockHolmes,I believe you will be grip the book.I like reading this novel that make me gainso much profits significantly. 《福尔摩斯探案集》的读后感英文

《福尔摩斯探案集》的读后感英文

《福尔摩斯探案集》的读后感英文As an avid reader of detective novels, I recently read "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The collection of short stories chronicles the cases of the famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his faithful companion, Dr. John Watson. I found each story to be captivating, intriguing and superbly crafted. The stories take place in Victorian England where Holmes and Watson solve a variety of mysteries involving murder, theft, extortion, and deceit. What impressed me most was Doyle's meticulous attention to detail. He created a world so vivid and realistic that it felt like I was transported back in time to 19th century London.Unlike other detective novels, Holmes approaches each case with a unique and creative perspective. His ability to observe details that others might overlook is remarkable. He is a master of deduction and is always several steps ahead of the criminals. His brilliance and wit make him an unforgettable protagonist. The dynamic between Holmes and Watson is also a highlight of the book. Watson is not merely a sidekick but rather an integral part of the team. His unwavering loyalty to Holmes is endearing and his perspective as a narrator provides the reader with a glimpse into the inner workings of the great detective's mind. What also stood out to me was how Doyle tackled societal issues of his time. The stories touched on themes of class, gender, and morality. One of the most memorable stories, "A Scandal inBohemia," involves a woman seeking Holmes' help in retrieving an incriminating photograph from a former lover. The woman is revealed to be Irene Adler, a talented and independent woman who challenges Holmes' preconceived notions of gender roles.Overall, "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a good mystery. The stories are timeless and the characters are iconic. Doyle's writing is superb and his attention to detail is unparalleled. It's no wonder that Holmes has become one of the most beloved fictional characters in history. In conclusion, I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a thrilling and captivating read. It's a literary masterpiece that has stood the test of time and continues to inspire generations of readers and writers alike. One aspect that adds to the charm of "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" is the vivid descriptions of the settings. Even though some stories are set in London, each case takes place in a different location and therefore offers a different atmosphere. The language used to describe these locations enables readers to fully immerse themselves in the story, feeling as if they are walking the streets with Holmes and Watson.Another strength of the book is its structure. Since the stories are self-contained, readers can pick and choose which ones to read and in what order. However, reading the collection from start to finish provides a great opportunity to see Holmes' character development and his growing relationship with Watson. Finally, the book's popularity has led to numerous adaptations in different media. From movies to TV shows to video games,Sherlock Holmes has become an iconic character that has transcended the pages of a book. As a result, the legacy of "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" lives on to this day, inspiring new generations of creators and entertainers. In conclusion, "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" is a classic that is well worth reading. Its enduring popularity is a testament to Doyle's masterful storytelling and the iconic characters he created. If you're looking for a thrilling, well-crafted mystery series, then you can't go wrong with this book.。

福尔摩斯英语读后感

福尔摩斯英语读后感"Sherlock Holmes" is a classic detective novel written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. As I read through the pages of this intriguing story, I couldn't help but be drawn into the world of the brilliant detective and his loyal friend, Dr. John Watson. The cases that they solve together are not only intellectually stimulating but also deeply captivating.「福尔摩斯」是阿瑟·柯南·道尔爵士创作的经典侦探小说。

当我浏览这个令人着迷的故事时,我不禁被引入这位聪明的侦探和他忠诚的朋友约翰·华生所构建的世界。

他们共同解决的案件不仅在智力上激发想象力,还深深地吸引人。

One of the aspects of the story that I found particularly intriguing was the character of Sherlock Holmes himself. His brilliant deductive reasoning and unconventional methods of investigation make him a truly unique and fascinating protagonist. I was amazed by his ability to see beyond the surface and uncover the truth hidden beneath the facade of lies and deception.我发现这个故事尤其令人着迷的一个方面是福尔摩斯本人的性格。

福尔摩斯探案集读后感英语

福尔摩斯探案集读后感英语After reading the Sherlock Holmes detective stories, I am deeply impressed by the brilliant deductive reasoning of Sherlock Holmes and the intriguing plots crafted by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The collection of stories is a true masterpiece of detective fiction, and it is easy to see why Sherlock Holmes has become a timeless literary icon. One of the aspects that struck me the most about Sherlock Holmes is his exceptional intelligence and sharp observational skills. His ability to notice the smallest details and draw accurate conclusions from them is truly remarkable. It's fascinating to see how he pieces together seemingly unrelated clues to solve complex mysteries. His character has inspired countless other fictional detectives and has set the standard for what it means to be a truly great detective. The plots of the stories are also incredibly engaging. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has a knack for creating suspenseful and intricate mysteries that keep the reader guessing until the very end. Each story is unique and presents a new challenge for Sherlock Holmes to unravel. I found myselfeagerly turning the pages to see how he would crack each case.Additionally, the dynamic between Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson is a key element that adds depth to the stories. Watson's role as a loyal companion and chronicler ofHolmes's adventures provides a relatable perspective forthe reader. Their partnership is a perfect balance of Holmes's intellect and Watson's pragmatism, and it is a joy to see them work together to solve cases. In conclusion, the Sherlock Holmes detective stories are a timeless classic that continues to captivate readers with its clever storytelling and unforgettable characters. It's no wonder that Sherlock Holmes remains a beloved figure in literature and popular culture. I thoroughly enjoyeddelving into the world of Sherlock Holmes and look forwardto revisiting these stories in the future.读完福尔摩斯探案集后,我对福尔摩斯的卓越推理能力和柯南道尔所构思的扣人心弦的情节深感印象深刻。

福尔摩斯探案集读后感英语

福尔摩斯探案集读后感英语After reading "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes," Ifound myself captivated by the intriguing world of Sherlock Holmes and his companion, Dr. John Watson. Arthur Conan Doyle masterfully crafts each story, blending mystery, suspense, and psychological depth, which leaves readers bothentertained and intellectually stimulated. One of the standout aspects of the collection is Holmes's unparalleled deductive reasoning. His ability to observe tiny details that others overlook not only showcases hisbrilliance but also highlights the importance of critical thinking. For instance, in "A Scandal in Bohemia," Holmes’s investigation into the elusive Irene Adler demonstrates not only his intellect but also the complexities of human emotion. Unlike typical portrayals of detective work, this story emphasizes that not all mysteries are solved purely throughlogic; sometimes, understanding human nature is equally crucial. Moreover, the camaraderie between Holmes and Watson adds a rich layer to the narrative. Watson serves as the everyman, offering readers an entry point into the world of high intellect and dangerous intrigue. His admiration for Holmesis evident, yet he also serves as a foil to Holmes, reminding us that not everything can be explained through reason alone. Their dynamic friendship illustrates the concept that collaboration often leads to more profound insights, as seen in their numerous investigations. The settings of the stories also play a significant role in enhancing the atmosphere. From the foggy streets of London to the grandeur of British estates, Doyle uses vivid descriptions to immerse readers in the late Victorian era. This historical context not only enriches the tales but alsoinvites readers to reflect on the societal issues of the time, such as class disparities and gender roles.Furthermore, the moral dilemmas presented in the stories provoke thoughtful discussion. In “The Hound of the Baskervilles,” for instance, the clash between superstition and rationality prompts readers to consider the nature offear and the unknown. The supernatural elements add a layerof suspense, compelling readers to question what is real versus what is imagined. In conclusion, "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" ismore than just a collection of detective stories. It is a profound exploration of human nature, the intricacies of friendship, and the delicate balance between reason and emotion. Doyle’s ability to weave complex characters, thrilling plots, and societal reflections makes these stories timeless. They remind us that the greatest mysteries oftenlie not in the cases themselves but in the lives we lead andthe choices we make. This collection has solidified my admiration for the genre and ignited a desire to delve deeper into the world of crime-solving literature.。

英语作文:《福尔摩斯》读后感

英语作文:《福尔摩斯》读后感Thoughts given by Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s SonWritten in the first chapter of the book Pride and Prejudice is an extraordinary sentence of which even a person who has had only a brief look upon the book will not fail to receive a deep impression-It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife. In terms of Sherlock Holmes, we’d better alter the sentence into “It is a fact universally accepted by readers throughout the world that an excellent book in possession of our famous detectiveS herlock Holmes is undoubtedly a masterpiece of all times.” Perhaps this is one of the most obvious explanations for the unrivaled popularity of “Holmes series” in the field of detective stories. Overwhelmed by the recommendations provided by my friends, I decided to take a look on this Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s Son originally published by Oxford University Press. As a whole, this book is about a case concerning the Duke’s missing son. Arthur, the Duke’s son, was found outin a certain morning to have disappeared, accompanied with which was also the disappearance of the German teacher. The school master Dr. Huxtable then turned to the famous detective of the time Sherlock Holmes for help. Realizing how tough and important the case is, Holmes immediately made up his mind to accept the case and followed Dr. Huxtable back to Mackleton by train. Having formed a rough idea about the whole matter, Holmes probed into the case immediately and had a careful investigation of the entire area shortly after the arrival, during the process of which he discovered the body of the German teacher Heidegger. Finally, primarily due to his prominent ability as a detective, he managed to unravel the mystery and obtained the twelve thousand pounds promised by the Duke.Having once started reading this fiction, I was completely immersed in the mysterious story presented by the book. As the saying goes, “Well begun, half done”. At the beginning of the story, just like many other detective stories, the author gives us a brief description of the condition by the words of a client. However, unlike other ones, this story first delineates the client’s strangebehavior at length to indicate the severity of the incident in order to attract the readers to continue reading it. As is known to all, vivid depiction is essential to detective stories since it can help the readers understand each figure’s characteristics and visualize the scenes, thus making the story more authentic and attractive. Therefore, trying to present a “real world” to his readership, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the original “Holmes series”, has skillfully arranged the plots of the whole story from the perspective of Dr. Watson, a character not so specialized in discovering the truth hidden behind the enigmatic happenings as Holmes but so loyal to Sherlock Homes as a friend that he always accompanies Holmes wherever he goes. In this way, he elaborately depicted every scene and character in the book, Apart from the special start, the ending of the whole story, being dramatic but reasonable, is certainly an outstanding one. After all, except the author himself, who knows that the Duke’s seemingly ordinary secretary is in fact the Duke’s bastard? In addition, who knows that the Duke actually has already been acquainted with the whole thing before Holmes solves this complicated problem? Yet, surprising as it is, this ending seems sonatural that it fits all the plots of the story perfectly well. While enjoying this wonderful story, I could do nothing but admire the wonderful design of this masterpiece as well as the author’s gorgeous writing skill. Closing my eyes, I can even “see” the story happening just like watching a film. Not until then did I understand why the Japanese cartoon film Detective Conan used this “Conan” as the name of its hero.As far as I am concerned, nothing is more admirable and surprising in the hero Sherlock Homes than his profound knowledge which has certainly assisted him a lot when he was studying the case. Take the bicycle tyres for instance, Holmes actually is capable of recognizing 42 different varieties of bicycle tyres. What’s more, according to his other stories, Holmes has studied different kinds of newspapers, cigarettes, people’s footprints and other special things as well. Therefore, he seems to have the mastery of anything relevant to the cases he deals with. Except for his illimitable knowledge, Holmes also specializes in arranging the facts in order and then finding the fact leading him to a GREat discovery or even the truth itself. From his speaking “Every mystery has an answer”,we can readily shape the impression of a man with great intelligence and inflexible will. In this case, after getting rid of unrelated facts, Sherlock Homes eventually grasped the clue and discovered the amazing fact.舍洛克·福尔摩斯和公爵的儿子英文读后感高中学生写作Written in the first chapter of the book Pride and Prejudice is an extraordinary sentence of which even a person who has had only a brief look upon the book will not fail to receive a deep impression-It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife. problems doesn't solve, just a few days, or even a week,he would avid thinking about again, comb the situations that he had mastered, and review the question from every angle until the facts come to light or convinced the materials are not sufficient. Therefore, each kind of spy that he deal with is logicaland reasonable. What's more, his explanation and judgment of all case are rational, cause the question to be easily solved, then causes the case to restore justice.“From a drop of water, a logic home can infer may have the Atlantic or Niagara Falls existence, and does not need to see with my own ears or heard of such. So, the whole life is a huge chain, as long as we see one of the ring, you can know its nature.” And this is Sherlock Holmes's deduce analytics.Sherlock Holmes is a b it “strange”, he is proficient in anatomy, also is the first-class pharmacist, but he never had systematic medical study. He diligently study some science, but the thing is very mixed and disorderly. And he take cocaine three times a day(taking cocaine, make the person feels pleasure, but loss their displayed energy). He also is so surreal, never easy to talk with somebody something in his heart, also a good article, is little not the detail description. In the novel of any a court case, almost every case happens is incredible, in the case of developing, and there are a lot of changes, vertiginous. But with the analysis of Sherlock Holmes, the story is slowly and clearly. All the things in reason, but at unexpected.Every clue is so natural, smooth, I can't find any flaw.SoI'm amazed at the Sherlock Holmes’ unreasoning ability. This book is fascinating by not only the vivid story and the soul-stirring structure, but also a meaning famous saying “every is the diligent person, all ha d the spirit which never said die.”Sherlock Holmes with his unique career"consulting detective'', received all kinds of strange case. Many official detectives and private detectives would ask for help from him if encountering difficulties. And he will try to take them to the correct route guidance. His work have all kind of social classes, from homicide to theft, although sometimes also met with bizarre case, but they are not the came into existence.Although each case is very complicated, but Sherlock Holmes is good at using a variety of knowledge, have attached great importance to the investigation and study, and treat case very enthusiastic, he has extraordinary ability. As Sherlock Holmessaid, if you have on hand to master the one thousand case details, so, if you can't explain the one thousand and first case ,it would so weird.when receive a case,Sherlock Holmes will try his best to solve the riddle even if the case is quirky or the killer who was carried away by the evil stop him and even want to end Sherlock Holmes' life.I admire Sherlock Holmes, I want to learn his those good places. For example, he rich knowledge of science, the strict logical reasoning, careful study.Though Sherlock Holmes in Britain has become a detective, but he still continue to study hard, have been research aspects of science and experience the detective, his these kind of indomitable spirits is worth studying. It can help teenagers get notice observation, thinking meticulous good habit.Sherlock Holmes is so charming, when you finish the adventure of Sherlock Holmes,I believe you will be grip the book.I like reading this novel that make me gain so much profits significantly.Only read this novel can you completely feel his charm.第二篇:福尔摩斯探案集英文读后感福尔摩斯探案集英文读后感sherlock holmes, does 《福尔摩斯》英语读后感

《福尔摩斯》英语读后感Thoughts given by Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s SonWritten in the first chapter of the book Pride and Prejudice is an extraordinary sentence of which even a person who has had only a brief look upon the book will not fail to receive a deep impression-It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife. In terms of Sherlock Holmes, we’d better alter the sentence into “It is a fact universally aepted by readers throughout the world that an excellent book in possession of our famous detective Sherlock Holmes is undoubtedly a masterpiece of all times.” Perhaps this is one of the most obvious explanations for the unrivaled popularity of “Holmes series” in the field of detective sto ries. Overwhelmed by the remendations provided by my friends, I decided to take a look on this Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s Sonoriginally published by Oxford University Press. As a whole, this book is about a case concerning the Duke’s missing son. Arthur, the Duke’s son, was found out in a certain morning to have disappeared, aompanied with which was also the disappearance of the German teacher. The school master Dr. Huxtable then turned to the famous detective of the time Sherlock Holmes for help. Realizing how tough and important the case is, Holmes immediatelymade up his mind to aept the case and followed Dr. Huxtable back to Mackleton by train. Having formed a rough idea about the wholle matter, Holmes probed into the case immediately and had a careful investigation of the entire area shortly after the arrival, during the process of which he discovered the body of the German teacher Heidegger. Finally, primarily due to his prominent ability as a detective, he managed to unravel the mystery and obtained the twelve thousand pounds promised by the Duke.Having once started reading this fiction, I was pletely immersed in the mysterious story presented by the book. As the saying goes, “Well begun, half done”. At the beginning of the story, just like many other detective stories, the author gives us a brief description of the condition by the words of a client. However, unlike other ones, this story first delineates the client’s strange behavior at length to indicate the severity of the incident in order to attract the readers to continue reading it. As is known to all, vivid depiction is essential to detective stories since it can help the readers understand each figure’s characteristics and visualize the scenes, thus making the story more authentic and attractive. Therefore, trying to present a “real world” to his readership, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the original “Holmes series”, has skillfully arranged the plots of the wholestory from the perspective of Dr. Watson, a character notso specialized in discovering the truth hidden behind the enigmatic happenings as Holmes but so loyal to Sherlock Homes as a friend that he always aompanies Holmes wherever he goes. In addition, who knows that the Duke actually has already been acquainted with the whole thing before Holmes solves this plicated problem? Yet, surprising as it is, thisending seems so natural that it fits all the plots of the story perfectly well. While enjoying this wonderful story,I could do nothing but admire the wonderful design of this masterpiece as well as the author’s gorgeous writing skill. Closing my eyes, I can even “see” the story happeningjust like watching a film. Not until then did I understand why the Japanese cartoon film Detective Conan used this “Conan” as the name of its hero.As far as I am concerned, nothing is more admirable and surprising in the hero Sherlock Homes than his profound knowledge which has certainly assisted him a lot when hewas studying the case. Take the bicycle tyres for instance,Holmes actually is capable of recognizing 42 different varieties of bicycle tyres. What’s more, aording to his other stories, Holmes has studied different kinds of newspapers, cigarettes, people’s fo otprints and other special things as well. Therefore, he seems to have the mastery of anything relevant to the cases he deals with. Except for his illimitable knowledge, Holmes also specializes in arranging the facts in order and thenfinding the fact leading him to a GREat discovery or even the truth itself. From his speaking “Every mystery has an answer”, we can readily shape the impression of a man with great intelligence and inflexible will. In this case, after getting rid of unrelated facts, Sherlock Homes eventually grasped the clue and discovered the amazing fact.。
